I watched the MSNBC videoclip of CA, GA, and BC on The Today show. My impression is that today was trying to put a positive spin on last Friday's hearing when JA gave a devastating argument describing how Caylee must have died.
I watched the youtube videoclip in post # 41 of this thread and I really wonder if CA and GA will every accept that Casey did it, even if it's proved at Casey's trial? My impression is no. Meredith Viera did ask them if they could accept that Casey was responsible for Caylee's death.
Also contrast how Cindy minimizes Casey not reporting Caylee missing in the Today show interview with Cindy's 3rd 911 call to the police back in July 2008. Back then Cindy was sobbing on the phone when she was saying that Caylee was missing for a month.
From about the time marker 5:45 mark of the youtube videoclip:
Meredith:
Cindy and George, uh, do you still stand by your daughter a hundred percent? Still believe that she is innocent?
Cindy:
Yes.
George:
Uh, like Ive said many times, I dont believe my daughter could hurt anyone. I really dont believe that. I dont believe that Cindy and I could bring someone into this world who would want to hurt someone especially their own daughter. There just -- Theres just no way!
Cindy:
I believe in Casey 100%. I know, you know I know that she loved Caylee more than anything.
Meredith:
But I know that you also want to know the truth about what happened to your granddaughter
Cindy:
Absolutely.
Meredith:
and in the course of this trial next year it became evident that Casey was behind the death of her daughter, is that something you could accept?
Cindy:
I, I cant accept what Ive been seeing because I dont believe that theyve done a full investigation and I would like them to continue to do so, theres a lot of evidence -- out there that has not been looked into, I mean nothing ties Casey -- to this. Theres no motive. Theres um, you know theres no evidence linking Casey to Caylee except for the fact that she didnt report her missing and thats the only thing.
