Remnd me again, exactly what good was that? No really? From the begining he has meddled in an investigation and given a long leash to a rather apparent murderer, and the only reason seems to be to get his face on tv. What benefit to the investigation into the disapearence and murder of Caylee did bailing KC out serve? What purpose has his constant barrage of tall tales ever served. He is almost exactly the same as JW. He inserts himself into things that he does not belong in in order to inflate himself. And just to fully put this in perspective. LE has long suspected that if she had remained in jail she would have come clean a long time ago. If she had remained in jail she would not have been able to sell and exploit pictures, movies and artifacts of Caylee for profit. She would not have been able to further interfere with the investigation into her daughters disapearence. That $200k blood money deal with ABC. LP is what made that possible.
It will be somewhat interesting to see what happens to LP when he is on the stand being subject to cross examination. I am somehow betting that Mr. Miller will make the more credible witness, given his record of work, documentation and service to the comunity.
Thank you for the wonderful post Fae ! I loved all of it, but the bolded portion really stood out for me. Just to think, if it were not for Leonard, Casey couldn't have brokered that deal with Caylee's memories and, at the very least, Casey would have been in jail, where she should have been. All so that LP could get publicity.

Oh, I am really looking forward to seeing Leonard on the stand now !

I haven't watched NG yet will watch the 12pm show, but I was reading through the emails between DC and Ca the other day where Tracy was mentioned and LP this was in March of last year and one of the emails said that someone was Military person was communicating with LP and the Anthony's and the statement was made to be careful about LP... So apparently LP is still somehow in this loop either through another party or Bias

...and let's not forget that the first person to contact Leonard about getting involved was some media friend...so who's to say that getting money for Baez wasn't the plan all along? Seems to me that we have no clear explanation for TP's claim that Leonard and Baez talk frequently. IMO the man has sold his soul. None of this was about Caylee. NG might want to reconsider having this man on her show. I don't see how his involvement bodes well for her represention of victims' rights.

I wonder if Bozo called him about butting in?She was his client it seems most of that money went into his pocket. He maybe have said you will look like a great guy cause she is innocent, just do not tell anyone I called you.

He tried to insert himself with Misty too but apparently her lawyer has a bigger brain then BOZO( if his brain is size of a pea its bigger).

I'm hoping that this case is the end of such media involvement with bounty hunters, searchers, and all sorts of characters becoming involved other than just quietly doing their duties. It's become all about everyone of these people instead of the murdered child. Heck, they're all right and it's only their own opinions. LP said from the beginning that he thought it was an accident when he wasn't accusing everyone else, and Cindy had her right to get angry at a non LE saying that the baby was dead and accusing her daughter. And, TM was doing what he felt he needed and giving his opinion. It's really all been and still is very ridiculous.

ITA with everything you have said.

I really think the Sunshine law has a lot to do with all these characters on tv.Most crimes we get some info and have to wait till the trial for most of the details in the case.

We are taking your calls live. Out to Brenda, West Virginia. Hi, Brenda.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Hi, Nancy. Thanks for taking my call.

GRACE: Thank you for calling. What`s your question, dear?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I have a comment and a quick question, OK?

GRACE: OK.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What I need is -- I have, like, a theory when Caylee first came up missing, and it just won`t get out of my head. I think that she had Caylee in the trunk of that car when her car was missing, as if it was -- so she would presume to be kidnapped. And when her car was missing and Caylee supposedly was in that car, then, you know, she was supposed to be found and then it would -- may look like a kidnapping and -- but she never was found. Neither was the car, until later on. And I think that somebody just took the body out and...

GRACE: OK. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Brenda, so your theory is -- let me get this straight -- that tot mom puts her own 2-year-old daughter in the car trunk to make it look like a kidnap. The car is not found. And then somebody else comes along, an unknown person, and takes the body out of the trunk and buries it or hides it 15 houses from the Anthony home? That`s your theory?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I just think that -- you know, that she...

GRACE: No, is that your theory?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes. Yes, I...

GRACE: OK. So somebody comes along, they find a dead body...

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No, somebody (INAUDIBLE)

GRACE: ... and instead of running away from the car or calling 911, they decide to take the dead body and go hide it next to Cindy Anthony`s house?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I don`t know. I don`t know whether it was...

GRACE: No, no. No, no. That`s your theory. I`m asking you do I have it right.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes.

GRACE: OK. Let`s unleash the lawyers on that one. With us tonight, famed attorney out of the LA area, victims` rights advocate Gloria Allred, veteran defense attorney, Atlanta, Raymond Giudice, and Lauren Lake, veteran trial lawyer, defense attorney out of New York. Welcome.

I do not get, with how dislikable Casey is, no job, no motivation to do anything with her life, lying, cheating, stealing, jail videos of her, seeing her in court...she has been totally non-helpful and non-sympathetic in every way possible to man, yet WHY do people STILL want to think that she is innocent in some way? Or she didn't put the body where it was found? Why? Why would she need help? Why could she possibly be innocent of this crime altogether? Is it because she was young and sexy? Is it because she was a young mother? Is it because she needs all of these high falutin' people to help her for free? I just do not get what people could possibly see as innocent or helpless in Casey Anthony. What about innocent and helpless Caylee? Can people not imagine anyone hurting that child? Mothers kill their children all the time, yet people, not many, but there are still people that want to give her the benefit of the doubt in some way. There is more evidence of her doing this crime and covering it up stupidly than I have seen in other cases (and I am totally a crime tv watcher, so I've watched and learned about a lot of cases before this one). It totally baffles me and maybe this needs it's own thread, I don't know...

Here's my take on LP, he doesn't want to be wrong. He has said from the beginning that KC accidentally killed Caylee and is making up the kidnapping story. He was the first to say she used the shovel to try and fish her out of the pool, (don't agree) so I think he keeps pushing stuff to support HIS theory. I don't think it has to do with discovering what really happened, just as long as he is right. I think he felt stupid after JB park, KWIM?

ITA - I believed LP's involvement in this case was a media set-up for publicity - don't forget, he's always promoting himself and putting others down. I thought of sending NG an e-mail, but I bet she's had many, many complaints about him already. He's controversial - her whole show is loud, opinionated people - and that helps boost ratings...and I think we've all seen in the last few days what media corporations will do for ratings.

ETA
Baez and the As have certainly not shied away from the media spotlight either, now, have they?

LOL! People like Brenda scare me because I worry someone like her will wind up on the jury.

I wonder if Brenda herself would do what she is theorizing someone did?:banghead:

Really, some stranger found the car, found the body of a dead child and instead of calling 911 this stranger thought...hey I going to bury the body of this dead child close to her home...and near the school her mother went to and in area her mother used to hang out in....
