In newly-released jailhouse videos, a tearful Misty Croslin the ex-stepmother of missing Florida girl Haleigh Cummings, and her father Hank Croslin Sr. spoke about the case during a phone call.

On the video, Croslin also told her Father, what sounds like a plea deal on the tape.

"I would do it. Three years in and four year out. I'll take it. I'll take it and run," said Croslin.

Yeah I bet she wants to take Three years in and four years out and then run. Seems like that's all everyone wants to do, run away and forget about an innocent little girl that disappeared over a year ago!! I pray the judge hears about this and doesn't give her anything but straight time. She wants to run, that tells me she is guilty as sin.

More jailhouse conversations between Misty Croslin and her father, Hank Croslin, have been released. In the conversations, Misty and her father talked about Misty's drug charges. But the tone quickly changed as the conversation turned to Haleigh Cummings.

At one point in the jailhouse conversations, Hank and Misty talk of those charges. But his tone changes when the conversation turned to Haleigh.

Hank: I tried to tell you. I know I tried to tell you. But no, you had to do your own thing just like you always had. Well, it's too late to cry over spilled milk anyway, so just forget about it. We all gotta do what we gotta do. I don't understand why it's happening, but it's happening. Don't cry.
Misty: I hate this man! They're trying to ruin our whole lives.
Hank: Yea, whoever did this thing to Haleigh is the one that ruined our lives. They need to ruin the person's life that did this, not ours!

Misty: Girl's Kidnapper 'Ruined Our Lives'
More Misty Cummings, Hank Croslin Sr. Jailhouse Conversations Released
POSTED: Thursday, April 1, 2010

In the latest jailhouse videos released by the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, Misty Cummings and Hank Croslin Sr., mention Haleigh Cummings a few times.

"I just hate this man. They tried to ruin our whole life," said Misty.
"Whoever did this to Haleigh is the one who ruined our lives, and they better find them before we do."

In another jail visit, an emotional Hank Croslin Sr. reassures his daughter that he still believes she had nothing to do with Haleigh's disappearance, but in the same breath, it appears, Croslin still has doubts with little new information surfacing about her whereabouts. "I do believe in you, but I don't believe everything I'm hearing," Croslin said. "It just don't make sense."

But Hank Croslin Jr. said his sister isn't being 100 percent truthful. He said he believes prescription pills have everything to do with the Haleigh vanishing last year.

"I really think it's all drug-related, otherwise (Cummings ex-husband and Haleigh's father) Ronald (Cummings) wouldn't have said that (expletive) if it wasn't true," Croslin Jr. said. "I just hope Haleigh comes home. That's all I worry about. She's an innocent little gIrl that doesn't deserve this (expletive). She shouldn't have been with Ronald anyway."

Wonder why Hank Sr. says "whoever did this to Haleigh is ruining our lives". Did what? Hank Sr. knows more than he is saying about what happened to Haleigh, and he wants Misty to come clean. I think RC is the one who either harmed Haleigh or put her in harms way due to drugs. There is no way anybody can be hiding this child in Putnam County. The other scenio is the drug dealers sold Haleigh, and she is involved with some kind of kiddie 🤬🤬🤬🤬 in Mexico. Florida has a large population of Mexicans drug dealers. No offense to the many law abiding Mexcian people who live in the U.S.

Just because children can be counted doesn't mean they are okay.

It broke my heart to read the police narrative on the night that Tommy was arrested after fighting with his father, in front of his children. His son stated he didn't want to go with his father because he was scared of him. No, in my opinion, these children are not okay, but yes they are still accounted for, that say's something about Lyndsy in my opinion and I sure hope she is able to clear her head and do some thinking about how to offer her children the safety and continued peace and happiness that they are entitled to.

Police report can be found here: http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/11/25/tommy.croslin.police.report.pdf

They are so under staffed at Child Protection Services in Florida these children fall through the cracks.

Misty Bargaining: When I get out of here I'm going to quit smoking and am joining the church choir.

Yep, that's just what they've been waiting to hear, Misty.

I can just hear her telling the judge "if you let me out I swear I will go live with my Mom, and Daddy, never do drugs (even though I want you to put me in that drug program thingy), because I am a drug addict. I swear I ain't gonna smoke cigarettes, and I'm gonna git my GED, and join the church choir, because my Daddy said, I can sing real good. Want to hear me sing judge? I swear I be good, and I just want you to know that I hate that Ronald too. I just turned 18 what more do you want from me? I'm just a kid.

The reporter printed this quote of Tommy's but he left off part of it.

"I really think it's all drug-related, otherwise (Cummings ex-husband and Haleigh's father) Ronald (Cummings) wouldn't have said that (expletive) if it wasn't true," Why would he make it up?

..............................

What was it Ronald said? What am I forgetting here.

I remember when Geraldo was interviewing RC at one of the prayer meetings, and Geraldo heard from some people that RC made a comment that he was 65% sure he knew who took Haleigh. Geraldo called him on that comment, and RC went nuts. His family started yelling at Geraldo to stop picking on Ron.
When I saw RC face I knew he was hiding something about what happened to Haleigh. I think this may have been what Tommy was talking about.

In this one Hank says they are going to wrap this up in a couple of weeks.

Tommy says he was in bed with Lyndsey the night Haleigh came up missing. That is a little different then the time line Lyndsey gave in another jail house video. She was not home part of the night.
Tommys statement about being at home w/ Lyndsey that night sounds a little funny to me. I'm probably just being overly suspicious. I have never thought that he had anything to do w/ Haleigh's disappearance, but the longer this case goes on, the less sure I am about any of my "theories".

Hank's statement about LE "wrapping this up in a couple of weeks" was interesting. It really sounds to me like he knows his daughter has the information concerning Haleigh and that, he believes, Ronald is involved too.

I wouldn't be able to restrain myself with Misty's, "I just want these charges done with, so I can go home".

I thought there were supposed to be several discs of new stuff being released-- do I have that wrong? Dangity! <<pounding fist on table>>

Misty still doesn't seem to really comprehend that until she comes clean, she doesn't stand a chance at getting out of there.

Her father couldn't have been more clear - but she is just not listening.

She sounds just like Hope Sykes - it's never their actions that got them into the predicament they currently find themselves in - it's because LE don't like them, are out to get them or whatever. It's their lack of respect for the law that keeps them from cooperating.

I hope Hank can make some headway, if he keeps at it (I know that his motives are a bit suspect, but I don't care what it takes to get to the truth about what really happened to Haleigh).

I'm glad at least one family member is trying to get through to her, all the others are a waste of time, with their sympathy and support.

I think even if she tells the truth she will still serve time. She may not get a stiff sentence, but she will go to prison. Truthfully, this girl belongs in prison. She also needs to get an education when she is in prison, so she can get a real job when she gets out....say when she is 35 years old.

Yes, they were supposed to release the videos...I don't understand what the problem is. :banghead:

He knows she's holding something back and he knows it's because of Ronald. To him, it's the only thing that makes any sense at this point. He's had time to mull things over in his mind and he knows his daughter like the back of his hand. Her methods of trying to divert the attention away from herself right down to throwing her brother in have not only disappointed her father but has angered him to a point. To me, this is beginning to show itself in the video. I think Misty's statement regarding Ronald...now....had come about since the court appearance (latest). She mouthed the words "I love you" but I don't think it was reciprocated on RC's part, thus her statement "He's already hurt me as much as he could hurt me" or something to that affect. That may be what she has seen as his latest sign of rejection. Who knows what RC's motivation is/was in the courtroom but I have a feeling that his attorney has advised him not to interact with MC in any way for appearances sake. Some posters read RC's facial expressions as being cold, glaring, even described as a "mean look". His way of diverting the attention away from him. Finally, she may see that he is willing to not only use her to keep this secret under his wing, he now has to make it appear he finally believes she is responsible, even though he knows that is not the case. At all costs, he will do what he has to do NOT to take the responsibility for what happened to his own child. JMO

I bet she heard about RC telling HH that he would take her time, and MC went nuts!

I think she's been waiting for HIM to tell the "real" story and now she's seeing that he is willing to let her sit in jail until the end of time.

The only time I remember seeing Geraldo confronting Ronald was in the interview where he asks him about doing drugs, or being an informer, and Ron got angry, then about 40 of the Cummings clan ganged up on Geraldo and told him to leave.
Not saying it couldn't have been another time, but it was kind of funny to watch that whole crowd of people running to protect him. Sure would love to know what kind of hold he has over them. As someone said earlier, it's almost like a cult.

That's exactly what I'm thinking. She is/was waiting for him to make the first move. I hope she soon realizes that Ron is only out for Ron.

She's an innocent little gIrl t She shouldn't have been with Ronald anyway."~ end

bold by me...She shouldn't have been with Ronald anyway? Thought provoking statement coming from the man who was slumped over the steering wheel of a van at his son's bus stop with a baggy of pills on the front seat. I am sorry, its just too little too late in my opinion.

It may be a case of takes one to know one. With his lifestyle being what it is he may have had a good chance of observing Ron and Misty's, ending up in the same situations more often than the church choir. Introspective skills not required... :banghead:

In some other of their convo's, it seems like HC cuts MC off when she's about to say something he doesn't want her to. Sounds to me like he's doing it here, too.

"They're trying to ruin our whole lives" and he quickly pipes in "Whoever did this . . ."

It seems very odd in this situation to use the term "they" if she didn't know who did it. It would be more natural to say "whoever did this" or "the person"

Also, I find it odd he says "whoever did this thing to Haleigh". This thing? Shouldn't it be "whoever took her"? That sounds very abnormal. It's like he's either trying not to say too much or he's distancing himself from what actually happened.

IMO, there's a lot of clues if you take their statements apart.

The first thing I thought reading this snippet was, Misty blames "them" whic doesn't include Misty, and Hank says, "Whoever", which does...

The thing might possibly come from him being told that the police don't necessarily think that it was an abduction that happened.

Tommy and Lindsay's statements are extremely suspicious. If he says he was home in bed with her when Haleigh went missing then how does he know when Haleigh went missing? He claims to have been over at the trailer banging on the door and hanging around, but no one was home. I don't call children "no ones" and how does Tommy know that the kids weren't in there alone and just afraid to answer the door or if Haleigh had already been taken? He seems to be trying to have an alibi by saying he was in bed with his wife and that no one was home at the trailer, but all it does is show inconsistencies. He's insisting that Misty took the kids with her someplace and the rest of the night he was in bed with his wife, yet she claims to have been gone part of the night.

Here's what I am getting from the tape:

Misty: (crying) "I just hate this, man, they're trying to ruin our whole lives."
Hank Sr.: "Yeah, hmm, (pause) whoever did this to Haleigh is the one who ruined our lives, (pause) and they better hope they find out before I do."
Misty: (crying, talking over Hank Sr.) "They're trying to ruin our lives, though. (Hank Sr. finishes speaking) They're trying to ruin our lives, they shouldn't be ruining our lives. They need to ruin the person's life who did this, not ours"

My interpretation on this is Misty is saying she hates being incarcerated among other things, and her "they're" is referring to the police, as in how those nasty mean popo set her up and are out to get her, etc. Her father is then saying "Yeah", as in he understands what she is saying, but he feels whoever took Haleigh is responsible, not LE, and again, "they" is referring to LE, saying LE better hope they find whoever took Haleigh before he does.

JMOO, though. I would love to hear the next minute or two after that, to see how Misty responds, or if they just go off on another subject.

ETA: I found the link where it went a little further, but still wish they wouldn't cut it off so soon, sigh.

:banghead: Why oh Why are they only playing snips of the audio/video? Tommy mentions something about Ron saying something regarding drugs from what I understood. I could be wrong since we only hear a little bit...:banghead: Tommy says he feels that what ever happen to Haleigh may have something to do with prescription drugs..duh. It that not what a lot are saying over the INTERNET? Wonder where Tommy got that idea or if there is any truth to it? Misty now saying she wants nothing to do with Ron as well. I don't buy it. I to would like to know what all Fields is telling Misty. She acts as if this is all just going to go away soon, she will be in some type of drug program.

Video Report/Part of the new jail comments: . http://www.news4jax.com/video/23029740/index.html

BBM.. But Tommy also goes on to say something about WHY would Ron say that IF it isn't true so I'm hoping he is talking about something other than just drugs..JMO

It does seem very odd that once again while Tommy is locked up, LE search another river. Maybe Tommy is talking....Maybe he's only acting like he knows nothing about Haleigh on those jailhouse tapes.
Could someone answer a question for me? please...there are 4 videos that were sent out of Tommy, Hank and Lisa on the 8th of April....There were only audio, not video,,,If someone knows, please lead me to them....If you listen to the 4th audio, at the 20:04 mark you will hear TC: " I wasn't there I don't know nothin about it...I wouldn't be down for some 🤬🤬🤬🤬 like that",,,,,,,Hank:" I know you wouldnt, I don't know how anybody could be"...........TC:" Have to be some sick Mfer to be doin some 🤬🤬🤬🤬 like that,,taking a kid to f*ck.".....Did anyone hear this too...Is it possible Tommy let the motve for Haleigh's death "slip"????? I couldnt believe my ears,,,,Anyone have a thought on this? TIA
