I was always told it is the quiet timid guys that you have to look out for. Someone like RC who wears his emotions on his sleeve, you can tell what he is all about. It is the quiet ones that make you wonder. There is no way that JO is an innocent. My sister lives about 20 miles west of Antioch and she told me that it is a rather rough part of town.

I agree the quiet, timid, shy type is the ones to watch out for when they snap. ​

Ronald was taken to the meeting with the family. It makes sense to me that Haleigh's parents and grandparents were all there at that meeting.

If the new tip involved Ronald, it would make sense to me that he would be the one NOT taken to the river/scene. IIRC, Tommy was supposedly taken there and we SAW Misty there also. It would make sense to me for the two that are giving the information to be taken there.

The person that is to be arrested would be the one NOT talking, IMO. Unless a big old plea deal was in the making, I should say.

As a side note, I just want to say that I honestly believe that TN was crying because of Ronald having to be taken back to jail and agree with the poster that said it.

If they all lied a little bit to cut their deals, yet LE still figures this thing out, then told them no deals, they ALL lied - well, that would be all too fitting an ending for these selfish creatures.

I keep going back to the LDT. What questions did they ask Misty? IIRC she was lying about knowing who took Haleigh and where Haleigh is. I believe if I am not completely brain dead that she told the truth about not hurting Haleigh. At least a question to that affect. Anyway, maybe the one thing in common in ALL the test she took was she lied on the same questions and told the truth on the same questions. 4 test and all the same. That would mean she DID not do anything to or with Haleigh.....but she knows who. She lied about Tommy and JO according to reports on the test. So who does that leave?

And I'll add to that tlcox - whatever they are looking for or have been told is there - it had to have been weighed down - either that or tethered - for them not to move in the direction of current.

A gun is pretty "weighty" in the water and wouldn't move that much. I don't think it was tethered because they might have found the "yellow rope" that was tied to it - but then they would move further downstream as the "tether" was broken.

So, IDK - I have noticed too how they seemed focused on right there at the end of the boat slip and off to the one side. We aren't seeing what they are doing at night with the side sonar or radar boats, so they could be searching further out.

I am beginning to wonder if maybe what ever LE is searching for was tied down under that short pier/bridge/dock? I agree, the focus is right there from what they are letting us see. Does anyone know if the other side of the river is being searched? They say this is less than 2 miles from where Haleigh went missing. Was there a dock behind the mobile home? Maybe someone should go back and check there? Did the dogs not lead to the water also the day Haleigh was reported Missing? All the docks along the river should be checked IMO, what if Misty is pointing out the location she thought it was, but was so doped up she forgot the exact location?

I am leaning towards Ron, Tommy and Misty were involved in something that led up to Haleigh's disappearance. LE has to figure out what they did before they can figure out who/what happened to Haleigh. I think they all know who/why it happened and they are not saying in order to save their own butts. So they blame Joe...which tells me Joe was not involved at all and knows nothing, or he would rat them out for what he knows....he is a safe fall guy.
I think LE is on to them. They really want Ron's gun..which I believe they will find exactly where they are looking.
Misty is cracking for a plea. "It's going to hurt 2 people"...One we care about and one we don't... Ron and Tommy?

Haven't read entire thread, I'm on page two, so forgive me if you guys discussed this, but I can't locate misty.

If correct and she is off the books, LE is playing hardball. That does happen..I've seen it before in high profile cases. The inmate disappeared off the books. It was done to fool the press. One very high profile was moved in the middle of the night and the press came out for nothing...and they let the press sit there all day too...never told them.

Misty could have been moved to a much more secure facility. She could still be in the official count in the county jail as a 'stick out'. A stick out is an inmate that is officially an inmate at the jail, but is at another location for various reasons.

They might be hunting for or found her nebulizer/breathing machine. It would be heavy enough to maybe stay in the area and sink in the silt. It would have a serial number that could be traced.

Someone else speculated that it might be something Ron decided that if it was gone it would point to someone kidnapping her and most likely her mother and from the jail phone calls we know that is who TN and Ron's have been pointing at from the start.

The gun - again. I brought up the "elusive" gun last night when I started this thread. So say LE knows (or has been told by more than one person) that the gun was thrown in the river there - how does THAT connect to Haleigh?

And, how does THAT connect to MC and this "testifying against the perp" plea deal? IF the "gun" is connected and we know of only 2 people who had connections to that "gun" - then its either JO or RC.

Back to MC's comment about hurting 2 people. One we "care" about and one "not so much" - JO and RC. hhhmmmm............

This is insane and I'm suddenly thinking that it will never, ever be solved. Since when does the family of a missing child block efforts to find her? Since when do LE have to twist and turn and pretend and follow wild geese in an attempt to find a missing child? Who is lying? Who is telling the truth? Why is this so damned hard to solve? These are not rocket scientists.

It appears that this crime scene is an organized crime scene...so far. Mentally disordered /random or opportunistic offenders seldom, if ever, leave organized scenes. Now I would like to see that MH and what it looked like before LE arrived. So there was a decision made and a reason for one or the group to go to that particular place.

I don't think LE can waste time, funds, etc... on taking Misty and Tommy outside for something someone else said. These two must have said something. No setting it up to get Ron to crack. Funds are too tight, and just no way. I think Misty and Tommy got wise, probably by their attorneys,and learned the old phrase "The first to talk is the first to walk." So, if you don't speak up quick, someone else does and that someone else gets the plea deal.

That was my post from last nite. The reason I think this is because of experence. My nephew has a machine even at school. Wonder if she had one at her school. Crystal would have to carry this to visits for weekends. Ron knew that and I really think he tried to set her up. IF this is what they found or looking for.

I so wish someone from her school would speak. We really don't know anything from school officials at all.

There could be two crime scenes. One at the MH and one at disposal.

IMO, the disposal site is a place known to the perp and usually familiar and if close to victim, sometimes comforting.

This is why placing accurate addys and knowing players habits are crucial.

They are not making any arrest without evidence. People's or even the perp's words do not count. They have to have physical evidence. They may have evidence from MH..I'm betting on it.

I haven't read the entire thread yet but just wanted to make a point from experience.

There can be more than one "crime scene". Everycase is different. Here we have the MH as one potential crime scene, the disposal site is another potential crime scene and we also have the alleged transport vehicle which could have brought them to the disposal site. That vehicle if located will be a crime scene in and of itself.

Hope I conveyed that well.
