most of us probably wouldn't hunt out of season. but......if you spend your money on drugs and liquor, deer=food for your kids. also, i highly doubt that any of these players actually cares whether or not they can legally hunt deer at any given time. they don't follow a lot of laws and have a tendency towards violence.

Hunting out of season - well if you check out Ron's rap sheet he does have a historical charge for using the wrong gun during the wrong time for hunting. Hunting out of season - I suspect they decide themselves what season it is, just careful not to get caught doing so.

Also I can see these people "showing off"/one upping each other with their guns. Shooting cans or whatever would not be "manly" enough for this group of [unusual people].

I believe he just said on NG that the Yellow rope was gone.

That's not what I heard and I replayed it on my dvr. It doesn't matter though. :) What's a missing rope between Croslin kinfolk?

Maybe someone will have the video up later and if I'm wrong I'll eat crow.

Shoemaker's statement about the funeral in my honest opinion makes no sense to me. If you want my honest opinion on it I think he is full of it. Why would LE tell RON to make funeral arrangements? He wouldn't be able to even do that since he is in jail. I would think that if they told anyone to make arrangements that it would have been Haleigh's mother Crystal Sheffield. She is her MOTHER and she is not in jail.

LOL LOL I am sure next week the story will be the yellow rope was loaned to someone.

Gma Flo will say that the yellow rope belonged to Cousin Joe since so much has been attributed to him in the brief time he was there, he was into everything and was everywhere. Might be true.

OT, years ago I worked for a funeral home and infants were frequently interred for free and I think a funeral home would donate given the circumstances. JMO

OT - My (now) middle daughter passed away in 11/03. She was 11 months old. The funeral home was very gracious in offering me free services (though I did have to pay for things like a more up-scale casket than they were offering). I definitely think in light of the situation, Crystal would be offered something similar. JMO

I just watched it again and you are right he says it was gone! I could have swore he said the yellow rope was gone.

Art Harris confirming on NG Repeat that TomC told the investigators that the yellow rope he had in the van was missing upon van's return.

You are 100% correct. At most the attorney could do was to confirm there are sealed juvie records, but to discuss the contents, he would need the courts permission.

Nancy Grace is completely wrong as to the law regarding SEALED court records, juvenile or otherwise. IMO, if an attorney EVER went on national TV and divulged sealed court records, he would be disbarred before the sun set the next day.

That Joe is sure sneaky then - somehow it reappeared inside a house Tommy's family moved out of shortly after he was busted for trafficking - imagine that...

IF LE told Ron to start planning a funeral... I doubt they would have been worrying about which word was "proper" to use.
Why even have these two lawyers on... they are NOT going to give a straight answer! They're there for their clients... they're not in court, Ms. Nancy.
And juvie records are sealed for a reason.
Any lawyers here... wouldn't PCSO have to get a court order to look at those if they're in a different jurisdiction? Or can they just pull them up through their computers? I have no idea.

So why isn't a big deal being made of the cotton rope?

I can't watch NG or my fingers start typing and I get in trouble...so thanks for the information...
I am gathering nothing really new tonight? Sounds like it was all the stuff discussed on WS all weekend? No real confirmation (proof) that Ron was told to plan a funeral (which sounds ridiculous to me) or any new word from LE? so we are were we were before? I can understand NG grilling re: funeral vs. memorial service but not sure LE, if they told Ron this, made the distinction, they might have used the word funeral meaning memorial service or vice versa. I don't think that in itself proves they have Haleigh's body, only that LE is convinced she is dead.
Thanks again...longing for real news from LE and proof of the crime...I hope we get it soon and not have everything held back pending a trial...that would be excruiating for all who have been waiting to know what happened to Haleigh...

Better yet, why is no one talking about "the blanket that was in the van that they took"? We have never heard word one about a "blanket" - which one was missing, was one missing. IIRC it was MC's blanket that was in the van - the way she put it. So, did they think we would just forget about this mysterious missing blanket?

3kgirlsmommy, I am so sorry for your loss! It was very nice what the funeral director did for you. That must have been a big help to you and your husband. Bless you!
