If the tapes are still a part of an ongoing investigation and/or the case has not been adjudicated yet, LE doesn't have to release them under FOIA (freedom of information Act). At least that's how it is in Michigan.

The def attorney was stating all of the comments in my post, and I suppose he was trying to discredit GMF by stating if TomC said such things to GMF, where are the tapes.

ILM...I AM the caller that called in and said I suspected Haleigh was shot... Levi reminded me there was no evidence found in the MH...And I reminded him LE has stated they do not know, WHEN or WHERE the crime took place IF indeed a crime had been committed....I also stated I suspect the incident occurred before Ronald Cummings ever went in to work...Everything else after that has been a coverup...

I knew that was you Emeralgem. The gun has come up way too much not to have a part in this crime. See, I have read your posts and keep them tucked away for review.

Heck, I'm still wondering if Misty could have carried Haleigh to the dumpster for pickup by person who disposed of her (in the van).

I recently saw a pic of MC holding ChC. I think it was on MS,IIRC.

Emeralgem- what makes you think she was shot?

Ron Cummings, himself...
No doubt in my mind Haleigh got caught up in an altercation he had with Misty or an altercation he had with someone else and Haleigh paid the ultimate price due to his out of control reckless behavior brought on by his desperate need to be in control... and control others... JMO

I hope it wasn't one of the clan trying to bump Granny off with some special herbal drink or something.

Yep, hope she wasn't given a pill like Hank Sr. got from Ron............

I wouldn't doubt for a minute that Misty wanted to have a baby..She probably figured a baby would bond she and Ronald for life....if a bond for life is what she wanted..she got it imo, just not the way she originally intended..

I totally agree with the first part. Let's just say I understand the thinking of addicts in general. TRUST ME. Your drug is your most precious commodity. You know how much you have. You store it securely. No matter how much you are able to get, it is quickly gone, whether you use it or sell it. That is why I am hesitant to believe the OD theory. Haleigh would have had to do some digging to retrieve drugs stored on the premises.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the OD theory is about the regular practice of medicating Haleigh so she'd sleep and not give them a hard time about going to bed.

TY, I was wondering..shoulda' known that tho..:banghead:

Everytime LP's on NG or Levi's show he keeps saying that he just talked to Lindsay this morning about Tommy's LD test and how upset she was..etc. etc..?

I like LP, but he keeps talking like he has had the same conversation with her every day...Strange..
Code:

ETA:..ack, nevermind..I was listening to the last Levi show w/LP after this weeks went off. *duh* I still swear that he has told that story more than once!

Actually, if you have a chance, go back and listen to the full episode of last week's show with LP. He has a revelation near the end! It's actually a very good show.

RHornsby said they DON'T have to release them until they are finished investigating those tapes.

No arrest has been made for Haleigh, so the tapes can be held until they are ready to let us hear them. Releasing them could jeopardize the investigation.

I've already said goodnight, and this wasn't discussed on Levi's show tonight so I know it's OT, but I totally believe poor baby Haleigh was in that dumpster before she was taken somewhere else. 3 dogs hitting on death there? Nothing else makes sense.

Goodnight again, folks.

LE is in the middle of playing one person against another. Players knowing who is talking is not something that is going to help LE. They want people to wonder and worry about who is talking and what they are saying.

And if Misty and Tommy did speak to GGMS we may never hear those tapes for a long long time. That is if they are of evidential value.

But Misty had just gotten off of a drug binge. Perhaps she had a few oxys left over in her purse or jeans. Oxycontin pills come in multiple strengths: 10mg, 20mg, 40mg, 60mg, 180mg. One 60mg or one 180 would have killed a 37 lb child. (How do I know this? I asked an ER doctor with 32 years of experience.)

It would be foolish for them to release those tapes now, especially if they have info on them, and even if they don't.

Oh ok. I guess my perception of "the OD theory" was always just that Haleigh got into some drugs that were laying around. I kind of feel that them giving drugs to her, at least the drugs they were known to use and sell (oxycontin) is an even less likely scenario. I don't think addicts would chose to "waste" their precious commodity on a child. They would rather use it themselves, to get high. It is a terrible way of thinking, but such is the nature of addiction.

I have a family member who I love more than life itself who is a drug addict. He is currently locked up. The lengths that these young adults will go to to hide their drug addicted behavior and the lies that they will tell to preserve their addiction is astounding. It is also devasting for all who love them.

Addicts don't just leave their stash laying around. Unless, like you said, they are too high to put it away momentarily.

OT, ((hugs)) krowdkat, I know what that's like. Be thankful in some regards that your loved one is locked up, if that's what it takes to keep them away, ya know? I wish that my loved one was behind bars today..don't get me wrong HE was the addict.:(.but sadly, he also had a wealthy grandmother that didn't believe he had a problem and thought everyone had ulterior motives for begging her not to give him money..He OD'd in his car, by himself, using the drugs that she paid for..:furious:..not that he probably wouldn't have found the money somehow at that point anyway..but she damn sure didn't have to serve it up to him on a silver platter..:(..

It IS totally devastating to everyone in their life and addiction doesn't discriminate based on age, wealth, education or anything else..some things just allow it to be hidden easier....for a while anyway..

Logically speaking xanax would be more the drug for putting a child to sleep.

I am sure they had plenty of that around..
