2010.04.25 Levi Page Show

Well , it would have been a more interesting show tonight if more of our questions were answered and AH had not fillibustered. Levi is a very polite host and did not call him on it.

I was extremely disappointed that the custody issue came up tonight. There was simply no need for it. It added absolutely nothing to the show, IMO. Sometimes lawyers speak from their own knowledge and expect people who have never gone to law school to know exactly what to do in a legal situation. (I think Crystal was taken advantage of)

Prayers for Grandma Hollers. I would like to hear an update.

Where is Haleigh?

Granny's stolen blood pressure medicine would also put a child to sleep for 8 hours....or forever.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the OD theory is about the regular practice of medicating Haleigh so she'd sleep and not give them a hard time about going to bed.

Is it?.. is that the OD Theory mentioned tonight? Now, I could believe that they had medicated HaLeigh with benedryl, although I don't know how much it would take to kill a child :(. I thought they were talking about prescription meds...

Art mentioned photos with cinderblocks exposed under the home and on the ramp off the side door. Let's see if these are what he was referring to and posts on his site.
Maybe Ron boogered up his hand wrestling with blocks and mobile home skirting. JMO

Even if that's true, (not doubting you, I've just never heard that before) do you think any of these people would even know that? I just kinda doubt it..moo.

I've already said goodnight, and this wasn't discussed on Levi's show tonight so I know it's OT, but I totally believe poor baby Haleigh was in that dumpster before she was taken somewhere else. 3 dogs hitting on death there? Nothing else makes sense.

Goodnight again, folks.
Hi, I always thought she was temporarily hidden behind the grasses under that dumpster. I think they used the word 'hit on' instead of 'hit in' when we read about it which made me think that. If it was just for a short time till they decided where to finally dispose of her it would probably be safe enough at that time of night. IMO

Logically speaking xanax would be more the drug for putting a child to sleep.

I am sure they had plenty of that around..

My question though Whisperer, is would they 'waste' that on putting HaLeigh to sleep? That's what I don't believe..addicts NEVER have too much..

Unless, it was a one time deal and they didn't intend for her to wake up...and I don't see that either...

I'm SO DANG FRUSTRATED with this case...:banghead::banghead::banghead:

But Misty had just gotten off of a drug binge. Perhaps she had a few oxys left over in her purse or jeans. Oxycontin pills come in multiple strengths: 10mg, 20mg, 40mg, 60mg, 180mg. One 60mg or one 180 would have killed a 37 lb child. (How do I know this? I asked an ER doctor with 32 years of experience.)

Most drug binges are over ONLY with the drugs and money in which to buy them run completely out though...not to mention, if she were to happen to find one while she was coming down, it's going straight into her mouth without a second thought..

BBM:

Could be. But I also seem to remember something about there being a pile of cinder blocks by a shed in the yard.

I totally agree with the first part. Let's just say I understand the thinking of addicts in general. TRUST ME. Your drug is your most precious commodity. You know how much you have. You store it securely. No matter how much you are able to get, it is quickly gone, whether you use it or sell it. That is why I am hesitant to believe the OD theory. Haleigh would have had to do some digging to retrieve drugs stored on the premises.

I know it has been suggested before, but it is possible, if she ingested drugs, it was given to her to put her to sleep. They didn't mention that on Levi's show when they talked about her overdosing on a drug.

Scandi (Hi Sweetie) I think you have a point there. If true then Haleigh passed pretty early as it takes a while for the scent of decomp to reach a detectable level for the dogs. A research study I read, and have posted here before demonstrated that most cadaver dogs can detect decomp scent at levels reached within 1.5 to 2 hours after death but not much sooner than that. That dumpster has bothered me since the information was revealed about the dogs, three of them hitting on the dumpster. If so, my brain says whoever must have wrapped her in something belonging to someone other than Haleigh or used a container as the tracking dogs did not enter the area where that dumpster was.

You're exactly right! He would have the 'normal distraught emotions' of any dad of a missing child :(..which as we know can and does vary. He would sound F'd up (which he did and imo was), but this was acting with a big dose up F'd up thrown in..WHICH I believe made his 'over the top' emotional state more believable to some that may have mistook it for something else altogether.. LOL, I don't know if that makes a bit of sense!..I don't know how to say what I'm trying to say here..it's all jmho anyway..

lol, I think I agree with you. :waitasec:
The day the 911 audio tape was released, I listened to it just a couple times and I thought--omg--he is faking it and faking it badly. NO doubt in my mind.

ILM...I AM the caller that called in and said I suspected Haleigh was shot... Levi reminded me there was no evidence found in the MH...And I reminded him LE has stated they do not know, WHEN or WHERE the crime took place IF indeed a crime had been committed....I also stated I suspect the incident occurred before Ronald Cummings ever went in to work...Everything else after that has been a coverup...

I knew it was you.

Now too bad the panel could not have discussed AH's statement about Ron's comment about Haleigh being pulled from the river. That was more along the lines of the topic to be discussed.

Wish someone would confirm that statement. AH may have just thrown that in to spice things up. :banghead:

I am of the belief they found Haleigh's blood in the van but it was not enough to prove she was dead.

It's been 15 months, wouldn't LE make an arrest by now?
It seems like there would be enough evidence from some either the MH or the van to make an arrest.

I just want to chime in on the idea that addicts keep their drugs under lock and key and there is no way Haleigh ended up with an oxycontin and ingested it. If you click on the link above it is archived stories about toddlers that have ODed on the addict in their homes stash. If you change the key word to toddler and methodone there is an equal amount if not more. Same thing for meth.

I grew up with an addict and had access to her drugs more times than not. There is no one size fits all with addicts and I think in Misty's case it is pretty clear she wasn't paying attention to the details. Not to mention pills get dropped by accident and kids no way more than people give them credit for. Most kids living with addicts know where the stash is, it is something very important to mom and dad, they know it is there and that is important/special/valued.

There was a story last month if a boy about Haleigh's age that brought Dad's herion to school. Took it right out of that super secret and secure hiding place.

Ron Cummings, himself...
No doubt in my mind Haleigh got caught up in an altercation he had with Misty or an altercation he had with someone else and Haleigh paid the ultimate price due to his out of control reckless behavior brought on by his desperate need to be in control... and control others... JMO

I think you got RC nailed to a T.
If Haleigh was shot, do you think she was shot in the MH or maybe outside?

Hi Charlie, Yea, I've thought about the time it takes for the death scent to mature to where a human recovery dog can sniff it. But I don't think at that time they were using cadaver dogs, probably a rescue mission with live scent dogs. They would hit on the latest scent left by Haleigh as a live person which would include the time up through that 1 1/2 to 2 hours when docomp would be maturing.

Do we know what time they took the dogs to that dumpster? Krams

Mobile homes usually have those blocks for support. RC was lying when he said there were none around that MH. If he used the blocks, he was stupid. Did he think everyone else is?

I never notice the stairs under the ramp until now. Thanks for the pics.
