2010.04.25 Levi Page Show

Art H may have the answers, or think he does, but sometimes, I'd like to take his sources and put them where the sun don't shine. :banghead:

Why does he believe Misty's "woe-is-me" stories? She's a liar, he knows she's a liar, but then he's going to blah-blah-blah about her terrible life when Haleigh's was taken from her?????? WTH?

Why does he think HE is THE smartest one on the panel? :furious: Yes, he has some interesting tales to tell, but when others are telling it like it is about RC, why does he insist his SOURCES say RC has been cleared? Why doesn't he just let LE tell us?

WHO are these wondrous SOURCES who never make mistakes? :furious: I'll stop now before I end up in the corner. Just had to say it.

rc is the one responsible for stonewalling this case for so long. He covered for misty at every corner. He marries her and keeps her holed up at Granny's house denying LE to question either of them. If not for this LE may have been further along in this investigation.

How is this true when Misty has failed any number of official and unofficial polys? When LE says that Misty's stories are inconsistent? If RC is "covering for Misty, why doesn't LE say that? As in, "We can't solve this case because the missing girl's father is stonewalling?" But we've heard nothing like that--just that Misty isn't telling the truth.

If it was an OD, then you'd have to think of a time of death. Grandma Sykes said she left when? Between 7:30 and 8:00 pm? And Haleigh was alive then. Ok, I believe that. Have to start somewhere. So whatever was given to her was after that time. And it wouldn't work immediately. If it was a prescription drug, I am wondering if that would be faster than something like Benadryl or NyQuil. For some reason I think it would. I just don't know how long either would take to work.

I'm ok with not knowing that though.

One thing about the prescription drugs though- I can't help but wonder if a potent narcotic would just end up making her sick enough to throw most of it back up. Most of the ones I've taken make me nauseous. And I've never taken the really strong stuff.

This is one of the reasons why I strongly suspect that Oxycontin was involved. Given Misty's not wanting to be there and wanting to party, I can't help but suspect that she slipped her an Oxy to make her sleep so Misty could go grab a quick party. Oxycontin would have fairly quickly put the child to sleep. Seemingly harmlessly so. The problem is that unlike most narcotic pain pills, Oxy is a high dossage time release. So it will increasingly build up in a childs system higher and higher over a period of time. So a few minutes after taking it the child falls asleep. An hour after the child may be fine. 2+ hours after, fatal dossage is reached and the child simply dies. Misty may have given her the pill, left her at home, gone out to meet someone, and then come back to find Hayleigh no longer breathing.

Just a note that this thread is supposed to be about Flora Hollars and her admission to the hospital. I think there is a thread about the drugs, etc. Sorry for my own off-topic post above.

I hope Ms. Hollars is doing better tonight; I couldn't find an update on the internet.

RC neck: speculating drug use
RC knuckles: told LE said punched fist in trailer, LE matched in trailer

To me the bandage on Ron's neck looks like it is probably covering a boil. He explained the cuts on his knuckles and pic's were shown on a program of his hands at other times and they are always cut up like that. Something to do with the job I believe was said.

Truthfully, they're not telling us much of anything and the reason they tell us about Misty is because she was the one taking care of Haleigh that night. She's the obvious link. Pointing fingers at anyone else would require them to spill what they know and they don't want to do that.

No, this thread is about Levi's show tonight. The title has been changed because she took ill unexpectedly. So your post is okay. We're still discussing the topics from the show.

A boil/absess, based on my personal experience...is from someone injecting herion. Roxy's a a form of herion as well, based on my research. I wholeheartedly believe that Ron was an IV user.

ETA: I have never shot or used herion, but I do know and love 2 people in my life who have. My experience with it is based on them. Sadly enough.

Ron was/is a drug addict. Him not responding as a "normal" dad would whose daughter goes missing (searching 24/7) isn't necessarily the way a drug addict would react.

I don't know why all these talking heads think that Ron would act like the average nondrug abusing person. It's so frustrating to me.

Drug addict or not no two people act the same when their child is missing. No two people act the same when their child is murdered. No one knows how they would react until it happens to them. Most people are so numb when something has happened to their child that they couldn't even tell you what they said or did at that time. A lot of parents don't search because LE doesn't want them out there in case they find a dead child. Some are so numb they can barely function. It all depends on each person.

Personally I believe that AH and Levi both hope that Ron is involved but let us remember...they are just two people who have an opinion and that is all. They aren't LE and AH is often way off base...like with Haleigh's bones being found like he said on Nancy. The bones hadn't even been checked for DNA but his SOURCES already knew they belonged to Haleigh...they were dear bones! Sometimes I think these reporters will say anything just to be first.
We know as much as they do in my opinion. Anymore unless LE says it I take it worth a grain of salt.

Do they pop out in places where they haven't used the needle?

AMEN. And sometimes LE if full of chit too. Just based on experience. Great post.

Mobile homes usually have those blocks for support. RC was lying when he said there were none around that MH. If he used the blocks, he was stupid. Did he think everyone else is?

I never notice the stairs under the ramp until now. Thanks for the pics.

I've never seen a mobile home held up by cinder blocks and I owned a new one for a few years and know several people who live in them. They are placed on a slab of cement that is made for the mobile home. The wheels are left on the mobile home. It doesn't move. Then skirting is placed around it with a crawl space so that a person can get under the mobile if necessary. I've never even seen cinder blocks anywhere around any mobile homes supporting one or doing anything else.

I'm sure that LE would know if there were any cinder blocks around Ron's home. I would imagine they checked that out a long time ago. I think they are way ahead of us and know a lot more then we do. I don't think they have enough evidence to arrest anyone though or they would have already done it.

AH did tell the bones story, but it was NG who insisted it was Haleigh's bones, even though AH kept saying that wasn't what he said. Please, don't make me take up for him again, I'm a bit ticked that he hijacked Levi's show tonight.

Agree but people who don't shoot drugs can also get boils. I had one on my rear..lol...before and have never done any type of drugs in my life. Boils are pretty common and hurt like heck.

Individuals do react differently to tragic loss.
This does not mean that some types of reactions and behaviors are not red flags, being more classically indicative of guilt than innocence.

Recognizing the difference between innocent reactions vs. guilty reactions is an important part of LE's job.

I lived in a trailer that was supported by cinder blocks, among other things. That's why they are considered so dangerous in tornados, thunderstorms, etc...

You're incorrect regarding the cinder blocks. I've helped set up several mobile homes and, although the home is left on the platform w/wheels, cinder blocks are used to help level the home. (as are wooden shims)

Yes, they do. Especially if Hep C is involved. When the liver isn't functioning properly.

This will also happen if the person is injecting meth. I really wish I did not know this. I've seen it in someone I love dearly.
