Wait just a dang second, who ever said that you get boils from drugs is so far off base. I was going to let it go til I started seeing so many people respond to it. My husband who is not a druggie and never has been almost died three years ago from having 13 boils/abcesses, his was MRSA. He was working 12 hour shifts 7 days a week for a month, he was eating on the go and sleeping when he could. He got a soe on the inner part of his thigh that would not go away, it popped while he was sleeping and it caused it to spread down his leg in a few days he had 13. He was hospitalized for 3 weeks, and sent home with what they call a PIK line in his arm administoring IV medications for 2 months.

LAst week my 5 year old niece had a boil removed from the back side of her knee. She is 5 she doesn't use drugs.
Last year a high school football team up town from me had MRSA spread around half their team. They had to close the school and sanatize the entire school.
Boils happen, you don't have to use drugs and with the widespread of MRSA over the past few years it has become an increasing problem. Google it you will see.

butterfly, calm down, they didn't say boils are only caused by drugs. They just assumed that's how Ron got his, if that's what was under his mysterious bandage. We know boils can pop up for other reasons.

Thanks for reminding me about MRSA. I had it after surgery a few years ago and had the same treatments your husband had, PIK and all. Ugh! Also had hyperbaric oxygen treatments. That was a trip. I hope your loved ones are much better now.

Oops! I should have stayed in the corner.

I'm so sorry your husband went through that. And you too. I think you might be misreading my post. I don't know for sure. Boils/absesses happen to all sorts of folks and for all sorts of reasons. Usually immune system related. Ron is a 20 something y/o man. He hasn't been diagnosed with any health issues. He has, however, been arrested for drugs. I'm talking facts.

If Ron has a boil on his neck and it's covered by a bandaid, my most logical guess is because he isn't taking care of himself or he is a drug addict and his liver isn't processing. JMO

And, if it makes anyone feel better, I worked at a hospital for 8 years and ran a medical publishing co. for 15 years. I'm not just pulling stuff out of my (where the sun don't shine).

I hope this helps.

& it was reported early in this case, that Ron missed some event due to having a boil removed from his neck. & yes, drug abusers are prone to getting them, & not just needle users. My friend, a pill addict, suffers through several bouts a year. Drugs, legal & illegal, knock down the natural immune system.

My 25 year-old son got a boil on the back of his neck a couple years ago and he is drug/nicotine free. He got it as the result of an ingrown hair caused by shaving the back of his neck - alot of men have to shave this area as they grow hair there (women too).

If Ron was part of the conspiracy, why didn't Misty pick up her cell phone that night when he called 90 times?

B/c she knew it wasn't him who was calling, b/c he was with her, and she knew it was to set up his "I was at work" alibi?

Quoted from a diagnostic website. I hope that is allowed. If I need to name the site, I will.

"Boils occur most commonly on the face, back of the neck, buttocks, upper legs and groin area, armpits, and upper torso."

So the back of neck is a common area, regardless of their cause of origin.
They are often located in or near hair follicles.

Caller talking about theory that Haleigh was shot somewhere else.

Someone confronted Ron at a gas station about his inconsistancy, and Ron said everyone will know the truth when they pull her up from the river. OMG!!!!! That is the first I heard of that.

bbm, that's my guess too.

.
Talking about Misty desperately wanted a baby with Ron... HMMM, thats intresting, maybe Ron didn't want anymore kids and Misty thought if she got rid of one kid than Ron would want another.

Bingo. If Misty were actually guilty of first degree murder, I think this would be at least part of her motive.[/quote]

You didn't like the boil talk??? :waitasec: I can't understand it.

Has anyone heard of any updates of Granny Hollars' condition? Also, did the event happen before she went on the air or during? Just hoping she didn't get upset at questions being asked.

Please get better soon, Ms. Hollars!

I hope that she is not alone and has somebody who cares for her holding her hand. It is possible she had not taken care of a preexising condition and the stress of all of this just made her condition worse. Much of her family is locked up or can't travel. How many more will this thing claim?

No news on Nanny Flo. I've checked. Found a rather gruesome murder in the Jacksonville area that I could have done without this early. Nothing on Mrs. Hollars, though. I'm concerned.

She was supposed to be on Levi's show last night but took ill before appearing. Levi made the announcement at the beginning of his program. The family thinks she may have had a stroke.

Granny in hospital? ... where's Lisa? I hope this crazy family hasn't harmed her in any way...

I have to admit that"s the first thing that came to my mind when I heard the news about Flo... I hope that if she really is in the Hospital that she has a speedy recovery..

elle, did you look on Tommy's mug shot to see if he has any tats? You know where it asks....identifying scars or tattoos? I'm thinking he does, but don't know WHY I think that, lol!

Yes but not all....also checked the police reports and about 1000 pictures. Nothing listed....no consistency on the reports either some have tat's listed .....others do not.
