Yes, he called this one long, long ago. He has called a lot of things that will happen correctly. It is a shame Baez doesn't pay attention to he, Mr. Sheaffer and some of the other lawyers that are shouting clues for him from the roof tops.
Even Cindy opined that today was good in court, and very respectful. The whole world has gone mad!

Even Cindy opined - that had me flabbergasted - since she has been one of the bigger offenders when we are mentioning disrespect!

What an interesting hearing. Even Cindy was on her best behav -- not chewing gum or standing up from her seat (Lordy, I'll never forget that one). Casey as always, playing with her shirt and ponytail. Jose being as respectful as can be. They must be darn scared of this new judge! Me - I'm glad they got him :) He's the same one handling the croslin/cummings crowd isn't he?

I still think jb hasn't got the memo that COV isn't up to him---It is the Judges ruling....(please tell me if I am in error here)--every since this topic has came up he has been trying to fiugre out the best place for it....(i.e., Miami--who can forget those notes with kc drooling over the white sand)---I agree with all the money and such--keep them there--

why does he object to the sequester?[/COLOR]

BBM. Because he wants to have an appellate issue down the road. He wants the opportunity for the jury to hear the media reports. He won't get that chance if the jury is sequestered.

Oh, great! My daughter' heading to Wisconsin tonight.

Sorry-OT.

Where abouts? It is not gonna be good in a few places tonite! Se. Lake Geneva/No. Il border and Madison as well as western!

Wow whatdya know.... G & C STILL SUPPORTING THE PERP who murdered their grandbaby even after she accuses G & Lee of molesting her. Sorry if someone already said it. U N B E L I E V A B L E!!!

the rotting pizza box wrote those letters.....not casey!

No she did not- Cindy blew a kiss and mouthed 'I love you' but Casey was already walking to the door and did not appear to even look in their direction.

Is there a video showing that by chance? I saw CA blowing the kiss and mouthing but the camera didn't go to KC. Also it did not look to me that GA was blowing her any kisses:innocent:

Yes, anyone can attend the hearings. Get there 30-45 min early - 23rd floor (or ask info desk downstairs where Judge Perry will be holding the hearing). Getting there early allows you to witness the arrival of everyone else, listen to opinions in the hallway, and sit where you want to sit because you'll go in first. It costs about $6 to park.

Thank you so much! I'm wondering how long it will take them to get through all the Non-DP motions.

Yes I did, I had a pretty good view of Ms. Cindy. That was another moment where I had to remind myself this is Perry's courtroom and to not roll my eyes! As if it matters to the court whether or not they have Cindy's approval. She should know by now she is not in control, she can't even get a smile from her own daughter. Sad.

Oh man, how I would love to see KC have a meltdown. I'd definitely break out the video camera for that! I wonder if it will ever happen. KC doesn't seem to like being confronted either, but that hasn't happened yet.

Is it just me or is Cindy's hair always different for each hearing? Looks like she's back to sporting the muffin head.

Can't wait for the next hearing. I think I got there about 20 minutes early this time, so I'll leave the house earlier next time.

There now - Y'see? That's the kind of thing we like to hear!!! You ARE getting the hang of it very quickly.....:blowkiss:

Now that this case is on the fast track (dates being imposed by the Judge), I wonder how Perry will react to the defense if say in 45 days from now...they have done nothing but continue to whine about the unfairness of it all (that the state is holding their lying client's feet to the fire) without having done any of the actual trial legwork.

This one is for you, JB, pulling boilerplate motions off of the internet and taking ideas from us (meaning the smarties at WS) is not doing actual work in a capital case.

I think she gets bored in court. I can't imagine not being fearful under any criminal trial, let alone one for murder!

well casey lives over the rainbow where the flying monkeys took caylee and the wizard is gonna wish up an acqutal for her

Yep, because I am "anyone". No one special. I was even asked who I worked for, because I brought in my notebook to take notes. I was thinking about blogging about it but there's SO many blogs out there I don't see how one from me would be any different.

Well, I think you're special! :)

DNA had it's FIRST and Air Sample Testing will also have it's FIRST in a courtroom.
Will it be the court case of Florida vs Casey Anthony..that has yet to be determined.

Florida, more specifically Orange County Court, is no stranger when it comes to admitting new technology in a court case.
In 1988 the DNA fingerprint was first admitted as evidence in court in the case of Florida v. Tommy Lee Andrews.
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/case/revolution/wars.html

"In one of the first uses of DNA in a criminal case in the United States, in November 1987, the Circuit Court in Orange County, Florida, convicted Tommy Lee Andrews of rape after DNA tests matched his DNA from a blood sample with that of semen traces found in a rape victim.10
And the prosecutor was none other than Jeff Ashton. :)

Can he file a motion for certain members of the defense to be removed?

I really do think a PD would be more qualified than JB! They are, after all, qualified and experienced lawyers!

Only in the event a member of the defense has done something illegal...(whether that is in the defense of their client or otherwise)but generally speaking the defendent is entitled to the representation that the defendent has selected...the state typically won't mess with that.

BTW, was that you in the courtroom with the blonde hair?

Hi Amil! I am thinking of going too..Was that for the courthouse parking or did you have to park offsite?

Judge Terry J. Larue is the croslin & cummings Judge .
