2010.05.11 - "The irony is rich!"

My family crest has a duck with an arrow through it and latin words (but I'm Irish) that say wounded but not killed. Much better. IMO MOO

I think that is a bottle of Patron tequila. I had to google, of course.

There ain't nothin' cheap about it either. $$$$

Who on earth would display a bottle of tequila in their OFFICE?!? Well, at least there aren't limes and salt displayed too. :floorlaugh:

WHAT?! There are worms in JBs office?? I don't believe it.:waitasec:

I totally get why this firm keeps their shelves stocked with liquor. Personally, I would have to be completely wasted before I'd hire Baez to represent me.

Looks at topic title... ah yes, the irony... guess that would be how his promo perfectly illustrates what you can expect from the Baez Law Firm; not much law and a severe headache

I thought that many of you would love the irony in this video clip that I found posted by Nanna Francis on one of the blogs. (Thanks Nanna Francis)

http://www.baezlawfirm.com/fondo-videos.html

I wonder if JB had just finished filming it prior to the hearing last Friday, which brought on the "We do it right" comment.

:floorlaugh:

Someone could have a lot of fun mashing this one up!

Bold mine.

Actually the video has been around for awhile...I remember seeing it and LMAO many moons ago!:floorlaugh:

Depends... is it Patron Silver... Patron Gold... or Patron Platinum? Silver isn't that expensive. You can get a bottle that size (as seen in JB's office) for nada. Had they had a bottle of Kettle One Vodka displayed... I might have went in for a free shot... ummm... I mean consultation.

Is the guy with the extremely wrinkled shirt a client or an associate? At first I thought the former, but later on they showed him copying something out of a book at an office conference table, so I think he works there. He also needs a haircut - he looks very unprofessional. What, he didn't get the memo that they were filming that day?

I agree with the others above who pointed out the bottles of various (apparently full) alcohol bottles on display and the message that sends to his DUI clients. And, WOW, so few law books - I was doing a double take to make sure I was in fact seeing what I was seeing!

I guess the site isn't finished yet, as there was no mention of Michelle M. or the new guy that was sworn in at a few hearings ago...and the few links I tried to click on wouldn't work. I just gave up after the 3rd one :floorlaugh:

Baez & the other guy walking down the hallway of justice ("Courtroom" is written on door behind them) made me think of Casey walking down the Universal hallway...

Whooo boy, JB sure does think a lot of himself, n'est pas? (wonder how he paid for this infomercial........)

 @ strawberry

I really didn't mean for that part to stand out, lol. It was just one of several things (and I didn't list them ALL, rofl) that I noticed that seemed so...wrong with almost the whole dang thing!

But I'm glad it made ya :floorlaugh::floorlaugh: :great:

It's the Gold! $50 or so. Probably a gift from a DUI client. :woohoo:

We have law books in our conference room even though we do all our research online. It makes the clients feel like you are a real lawyer if you have law books instead of tequila. ;)

Yeah, it's old. Pre-pocket square days.

Still good for a giggle, though.

umm....Wow....that's quite the little infomercial they have there.

"if you have to look for a lawyer, you've already lost"

WTH?

one of the finest examples I've seen lately of window dressing....:loser:

I think they are trying to tell us it's specific to JUST their law firm. lol

For those who live in the Orlando area- What is the significance of them walking past those statues, of a man and a woman, the man is in a 'cowboy' hat ... maybe early settlers? is it something to do with Justice? I'm trying to figure out if there is a hidden metaphor.

I believe the courthouse we see in the background is the Osceola County courthouse in Kissimmee not the Orange County one in downtown Orlando.

I will venture a guess and say the statue could be a tribute to the family that used to own the land OR to early settlers who were Ranchers..
Osceola had and still has many Ranches and Farms in the county

UPDATE

It's an Early Settlers Monument with a lady, Rancher and a dog

Also, I believe the other lawyer in that video, Gabriel Adam, left the Baez firm early 2009 and opened up his own firm.

Well, I thought that entire video clip was about as cheap and cheesey as they come.
All that "rent-by-the-month" furniture.......pfft.

And, that crazy family crest logo thing ~! Plaaasease......give it up cause that is about as phoney looking as the rest of his persona.
He can spend boo-koo bucks for matching business cards to his family crest logo, but can't afford to put a few more law books on his shelves.
Unless, of course, those are all kept in his big ole secret conferance room.
What a puttzzz....
I think someone should make a JibJab video of his commercial...come to think of it, there would really be no difference.

Even richer is Casey's, "I'm going to lie and steal and do whatever it takes". Now that's coming into evidence to bite her!!!:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:
