Ok someone help me out here. I looked up grave wax and read this ...



So was Caylee's body in that trunk for almost month??

there are previous threads w/grave wax (adicopere) discussed previously. IIRC - it can begin within just a few days after death and is usually seen where there is a damp environment. all that needed to be in the trunk for a month was decomp fluids and dampness (not the whole body). (of course this is from my memory - which is subject to error)

Thanks! Reading that, it appears that the hair was either from the trunk or the trash bag in the trunk, and they are not sure whether or not it was Caylee's. It could have been from anyone in TonE's apartment if it was in the trash bag, I suppose, but it is interesting that we haven't seen this before (at least I think we haven't, LOL!!).

Like from a missing "nanny". No seriously, I've always wondered if that person (whoever it is) might be dead also, that that might have something to do with Casey or others not talking. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has wondered that. One theory anyway

I remember reading it too but neglected to write down where they found it. I think in the trash bag from the trunk but don't quote me on this.

I scanned the whole doc dump in about 30 minutes or so, wish I had more time. I was curious about page 7 . Can anyone explain the image of the fingerprint and then the duct tape image below it? Right below that is the heart outline info, but I'm wondering what is the fingerprint? Is it anything at all?

ETA: actually, it isn't an image of duct tape below the image of the fingerprint, it looks like some kind of label with a bar code with a possible partial date stamp of
0627, upside down. Is this anything?

Here's what I know of Gentamicin offhand
(I was a pharmacy technician in the Navy)

It does come the eye drop from, for conjunctivitis, and for a few other eye infections.

It can also be given intravenously (in a piggyback drip) for certain infections also.
Its considered ototoxic and nephrotoxic, (ears and kidneys) so when a person in an inpatient setting has to receive a course of therapy with Gent, a person's creatnine levels have to be checked frequently.

One thing that caught my eye in today's doc dump:

There were stains on Casey's clothes (the Gray skirt in particular) that were collected, even though Cindy had washed them. Maybe I had missed that if it was released prior to today.

I know, I've always wondered about them too, I keep waiting for more info to come out

I haven't had a chance to look at the new documents yet, maybe it is one of the hidden gems in there

funny, if I were thinking paternity I think I would have checked the 18 year old son's DNA rather than the father but you never know, I guess either way might work I haven't seen the docs yet so I will go see what you guys are reading

It says the buccal swabs taken from Brian were for elimination causes only for any DNA found on the shovel. (Or at least thats the way I read it.) found on page 14223

Thanks everyone for the info on Gentamicin. I must've been assuming since my sister uses it to treat patients that it was only given IV or IM. Sorry.

Here is another definition of adipocere:

Although decomposition of fatty tissues starts almost immediately after death, adipocere formation time may vary from two weeks to one or two months, on average, due to several factors, such as temperature, embalming and burial conditions, and materials surrounding the corpse. For instance, the subcutaneous adipose (fatty) tissue of corpses immersed in cold water or kept in plastic bags may undergo a uniform adipocere formation with the superficial layers of skin slipping off.

On page 103 is a note that says that SA NS reiterated that he would like all communication to go through the FBI Orlando office -- not OCSO: media is ____________ by SO.

I cannot make out what is written....has anyone else figured that out???

I hope so.....I've always thought that person needed to be questioned about KC....I don't think he did anything wrong, just think he might know a few things that could connect a few dots in this case. MOO

Yea, I jumped the gun but buccal swabs can be paternity dna swabs but in this case i guess they are just checked the shovel but wouldn't his dna be on the shovel since it is his shovel?
