I've got a different take, HH. Tommy held up to his end of the bargain, told what he knows. But, what he knows isn't enough to arrest Joe. LE needs Misty's to fill in the blanks, and the little (unusual person) ain't talking! :furious:

That tells me one thing: Misty did it.

Bessie, I honestly don't know what I think anymore. I could "argue" any manner of scenarios right now and that is NUTS. I went through the Misty did it phase a little while ago, but that would have to include Tommy (or someone) with wheels helping. And why did LE release Tommy tapes and ZERO Misty tapes? Plus, I have more curiousity about Joe but only because of the gun fight that didn't happen, per RC, and NOT because of anything we've heard from Misty or Tommy. This is just so confounding and confusing. :banghead:

Tape 15

Hank: Joe told me (when I was up there) that he's gonna smash Misty's face in for implicating him. I said, 'No you're not, Joe.' Joe said, 'Yeah, I am', and he pulled out his .38.

Hank tells Tommy that some think Haleigh OD's and he and Joe went down there to help. Once again, Tommy adamantly denies it. "They're outta their minds. That's crazy as f^&k!"

Lisa said Misty told her she was sitting on the couch with Tommy... Tommy stops her. "I can't talk about nothing".

Tommy sounds deflated and a little drowsy. His optimism is gone.

When was Hank "up there" (Tenn.) after the Joe did it story came out when Joe told him this?

Where was Misty allegedly sitting on the couch with Tommy at?

Thanks and sorry, I am confused.

What I want to know is, how did Lindsey get a new car?

I am on call 12, please someone tell me if Tommy EVER gets to talk to Lindsy!!!!

I'm crying Uncle. I've finished listening to all the tapes and my brain is totally fried. I'm still thinking that both Misty and Tommy have lied and are using Joe as the scape goat, with Ron's blessing. Tommy is protecting himself and was drafted into helping with the disposal. Misty is protecting Ron. Maybe Haleigh was dead when Tommy got there and Tommy thought he was helping his little sister. Misty didn't bother telling him that Ron killed Haleigh because then Tommy would not have helped. I truly hope that Misty decides to tell the REAL truth or we will be sitting here next year this time. I think that Hank Sr. is ready to beat the truth out of both Misty and Tommy.

Tape 15
Hank says Misty's lawyer said he can't devote all of his time to Misty Croslin. She's not telling everything she knows.

Misty's willing to take another lie detector test.:floorlaugh:
Oh Lordy...let the good times roll.

Hank wasn't clear about when he was in Tennessee. But Misty's been pointing the finger at Joe for a long time. Lisa and Hank moved to Tennessee in August, but she was arrested on the check forgery charge in September and eventually extradited back to Florida. IIRC, that was in October. Misty went to stay with Flo during that time, and was probably telling tales about Joe. So, I think the incident with Hank and Joe occurred then.

I'm clueless about the couch. Tommy stopped Lisa before she could get past the first sentence. Didn't we hear something about a couch from Flo?

TAPE 7: ToC and AuntV
(GMF? is in the background; they are in a car, driving home):

AV said JO "was drunker than hell" when he was taken in for questioning:

AV: I know when they carried Joe down to question him last night, every question they asked him, his lawyer told em - no comment, no comment, no comment, and Joe was drunker than hell when he went down there.

ToC: Yeah, I don't know, I just need to talk to Linds, d---it.

Nope. And he didn't talk to Timmy, either.

They do not have to release anything they deem relevant to an ongoing investigation. The fact that the entire piecing together of the Joe story has been released says a lot to me.
I firmly believe Joe is the scapegoat, and the idea that Tommy and/or Misty thought the detectives would arrest him based entirely on the stellar Croslin word is amazing. If there was a shred of truth to that story Joe would be in jail, there would be physical evidence of some sort.

Not to mention Misty, Ron and Tommy would have rolled on Joe a loooong time ago (the heat has been hot for awhile on them).

BBM--this is where I get even MORE confused. LE has stated they won't release anything that would compromise their investigation. Most everything we have heard in these tapes has already been reported in the media. SO, does the release of these tapes suggest they are NOT pertinent to the Joe O/Tommy etal Haleigh investigation OR did they release them after they redacted essential elements? KWIM? :waitasec:

No arguments from me tonight, that's for sure. I've never been able to clear either Misty or Ron in my mind, though. Since March, the scales have tipped heavily toward Misty.

My interpretation is that the Joe story is a complete lie, and LE is completely aware of that fact. If Joe was a real person of interest witness statements about him would not be being released to the press.

TAPE 7: ToC and AV (GMF in background @ home)

AV calls Linds for ToC>AV leaves a VM:

...he can't explain it right now, but he knows and u know that it's in his heart, and that he does love u, and give his babies kisses for him...ToC says, he says he did not do s--- wrong, not nothin

AV: (Speaking into Linds VM while ToC is on line) Mama's the one that sent t police to where to tell the police where to go because Chels told us

Tommy claims to not know where Joe took Haleigh, but yet snickers about her body being put into the lake. Tommy must know where Haleigh is.

They did go back to Tennessee in April to question him, so I don't think they've completely ruled him out. You do make a good point about witness statements. We've heard almost nil regarding Ron's and Misty's whereabouts on February 9, 2009. Not officially, anyway.

I don't think Tommy knows where Haleigh is.. He snickered when he heard what his father was saying because like he said.. It's ALL BS..JMO

BBM: Maybe this was the couch lil Jr. heard bouncing? I didn't watch the video for Tommys reaction to the statement, I am assuming it wasn't a good one.

TAPE 7: ToC and AV
ToC can't seem to get a hold of anyone, but he won't stay the heck off the phone!
Now, ToC wants AV to call HC, Sr.

AV calls HC, Sr., while ToC is on the other line:

- AV says HC says to call TiC cause he has minutes on his phone
- AV says (HC said), No, Linds won't even talk to him (HC)
ToC: Have they talked to TiC today?
- AV says (HC said), Yeah, Linds talked to TiC

ToC: Well, what did she say to him?
- ToC says he's been tryin to call (TiC), but it goes straight to VM
- AV says TiCs phone's messed up, but he's going to get a new phone. He needs to find out what __??__(nickname for Linds?) said to TiC
ToC: They don't know what Linds and them talked about?
- AV says Linds not even talkin to them (HC and LC)
- AV says LC says that's what she (Linds) told TiC: the only one allowed to see the kids at all would be TiC
- AV to ToC: She says she don't want to get no minutes cause she don't want to talk to u no more
- It's something about what they told her at the jail yesterday...
- AV asks if she can get off cause she thinks it's Misty (on a line)

Tape 9 - my words - ARE you friggin kiddin' me????? Does he really think that if he is lying now and gives them a BS story that he is going to be able to pull this off, get off of his charges on a BS story, save his marriage on a BS story, and everyone is gonna be ok with this???

"I just want to come home - think about it".....either he is working with LE with this story to get Joe and/or MC to break by thinking that he has turned ......OR he really thinks LE is stupid and will fall for it....
I honestly don't know what to believe after listening to this!!! I just don't!!!
:banghead::banghead::banghead:

I haven't listened to the tapes yet, but, could it be possible Tommy is trying to tell his Dad he wants his Dad to think about where he used to live (before Lindsy moved) . Tommy has never lived in the new home, so I thought maybe he is talking about his old home(the home he lived in the night Haleigh was murdered)

It's an audio tape, Zaha, so we can only hear their conversations. Just before Lisa got on the phone with Tommy, Hank told him that Lindsy refused to allow Hank and Lisa to see Tommy's children. Then Lisa took the phone and started to talk about what Misty told her (earlier that day, I think), and mentioned the couch story, he cut her off very quickly. He was disturbed over the news about Lindsy and angry with Misty because she continues to lie. Until she corroborates his story, he can't be cleared. Meanwhile, Lindsy has filed for divorce, found a new man, and abandoned him.
