I liked the ending of the hearing bc I was able to get a look of Cindy Anthony..she made a 0 look (shocked) at something. Couldn't read her lips. But, she was with a lady and Brad in the courtroom. Notice the heart necklace she had on..I hope she doesn't have Caylee's ashes in one of those makes me sick the Anthony family how they disrespect family after her tragic death. No George not a surprise...and I'm sure ICA is happy she "accidentally" fell. Good day for Caylee..1st day of June and found it coincidental that Jose Baez is not available the week after June 17 too close to when Caylee died??
IMO Cindy looked like she gained a few and she needs to learn to wear appropriate court attire!

Who was stringing who along? You mean when JB finally pays he can quit putting off getting the list. Which by the way he's had access to this entire time. Just like he's had access to Tim Millers stuff. JB never had to pay the entire amount. He could have gone down to the SA and pick and chose which tips he wanted.

It's the fault of the Defense that they haven't had the tips.

They were too lazy to go pick them up, and too greedy to part with the cash for the fee.

It would have been that much less money to line the pockets of Baez had he actually done his job.

Now he's being forced to do it, compliments of Judge Perry.

As to the discussion regarding the tips and whether or not the defense is being denied access to them-I am mystified as to what the expectation is that they will contain.

The defense is going to argue that LE went after Casey because she was the last person to see Caylee, was her mother and her caregiver so they did not adequately investigate any other theory. They are going to argue this whether or not they have re-vetted all 2K worth of tips.

The thing is, Casey lied. She lied about having a nanny, about her occupation for the last year and about myriad other little and not so little things. Nothing in the tips will change that. She claims her daughter was kidnapped by someone who did not exist. A month earlier. And then she never called her daughter in as missing. Never.

It is going to be hard to fault LE for the angle they took regarding who they believed was responsible for the disappearance and death of the child.

no not complaining about the money, complaining about the tips not being disclosed, the RK tips weren't disclosed for a very long time to the defense, they kept being strung along with a bunch of nonsense and only psychic tips released to them. A lot of the tips still haven't been released to them to this date

Ya know...all of this stuff about "tips" is making me kind of kooky. Didn't JB and the As have an expert PI? Didn't they have access to oodles of information...including the "tip" that Caylee was in Georgia? We've heard RK's calls...am I missing something?

Here's the thing, Seagull, which you have maybe overlooked. Baez asked for ALL the tips given to LE to be given to him. Baez could very easily have gone in, inspected the tips, flagged which ones he wanted, AT NO COST TO HIM, and then only paid for the ones he had chosen as relevant. It is not the State's fault, and it is not OCSO's fault, that Baez made the decision to ask for ALL the tips, no, that is Baez's fault, and his only.

Strongly disagree. The tips have been prepared and waiting for the defense to come and get them for over a year. I remember when JB asked for them and then he complained because he had to pay for them (this was back when he was playing with over $300,000.) He said the State was running some kind of scam!!

IIRC the Defense decided of their own choosing that these tips were junk and it was simply not worth paying for the rest and picking them up.

Obviously a year has changed that, since JJ and the facts they have nothing else to work with.

Funny though, once the public and media demanded it be shown, the Defense has never said another word about that.

im not seeing. he's just as arrogant, unprepared, and inept as baez. and how can he hope to 'reign in' baez when he cant be competent himself?

imo they are putting more fools on the defense team just to give her a better chance at a dp appeal.

Way back I posted there was something strange with Lee/KC...Cindy & GA were in LA doing Larry King Live stating how there was a potential sighting of Caylee, the next day there was a hearing for KC, LA was the only family member that attended that hearing, which also happened to be the same day that Caylee's remains were found. I suspected that LA was there to give KC notice that he was going to put an end to their parent's making fools of themselves on national TV and put the remains where they were surely be located, eventually... so I follow your thought here, and I've suspected for some time that LA moved the remains from where his dear sister "hinted" Caylee would be found, that way KC couldn't be the murderer, and CA & GA got their closure... I think this is a puzzle-piece that could definitely fit this entire scenario, the only thing that would throw it off would be how long the remains can be proved through scientific means that they were in that location. JMO...of course.

I think Mason should have gone ahead with his retirement plans and not taken on this case, as he doesn't seem to be having as much "fun" as he probably thought he would. I'm getting a little sick of the "old man" comments he makes about himself.

Also, he talks like he has a mouth full of marbles...combine that with his good old boy accent, and I pity the court reporter who has to transcribe his words. Half the time, I don't know what the heck he said. :loser:
