Some of the things that he wrote in letters to Casey were more like a person would write to a girlfriend. That bothered me too. Most men don't talk to their daughters like that. I don't know...maybe he was just trying to let her know how much he loves her and doesn't know that there are things that are appropriate and not. This family is very different.

I totally agree with you. I wasn't sure whats really appropriate or not because I didn't grow up with a father myself but I do know that saying your daughter is the boss and constantly saying I want to hug you is kind of strange. I don't honestly see Casey and George hugging. I think that the women in that home Cindy and Casey were indeed the boss in that house. I'm sure George had to go along with everything and put George in the middle of their fights. Lee seems to always be on Casey's side.

This spoiled brat should be grateful her parents are putting money into her jail account not many people get this and huge amounts. But she doesn't even thank them but acknowledging them in court by looking at them, smiling, or anything! I'm glad shes cut off...hope it stays that way

This is just my opinion, but I wonder if the PI was at the motel room to find out if George was really alone the whole time he was there. River did say that GA called her from the motel, IIRC. What we don't know is if that's true at all or if it's the whole truth. I'm sure the defense is aware of her allegations and might entertain the idea of using her to discredit George.

As far as canvassing around the motel the PI could possibly be looking to see if certain illegal activities are common for the area, again in order to discredit George.

If Baez is just looking to use the suicide attempt for sympathy I can't understand what they would find out by talking to the motel people.

Baez spends the state's money on all kind of things. Interesting that when he had all those thousands of dollars from Caylee's photos he was as tight as a tick with that money. Didn't do a thing that cost any money. Look out when someone else is paying the bill. Baez makes me want to throw up.

Whatever money he's taking for his fees could be applied to anything of his. I think it would be considered salary. :waitasec:

Actually ~ I did when it was happening to me.
I even went as far as sleeping with my clothes on finally, and when my mother caught me doing that, she raised the roof.
I was afraid at the time to tell her ~
When I did finally break down she did nothing to protect or correct the situation other than confronting my step father.
He denied it, and it was case closed ~ though he did stop his attempts then.

I'm so sorry that your mother didn't place you ahead of her husband. Some are like that and it is horrible.

I used to work with troubled teens and most of the kids that had been sexually abused wore their clothes to bed..layers of them. That way it makes it harder for the abuser to get to them. They also slept with the extra clothes that they had folded and placed up the legs of their pants. That way if something bad was about to happen or happened they could get away fast and have their clothes with them.

I believe he was putting money into her account once or twice a month. I believe it was usually $50.00 each time. I don't blame George if he isn't putting money in her account. Didn't she say that it came to her in a dream...his molesting her? I wouldn't do a thing for her. I see he isn't going to her hearings with the exception of the last on because Cindy and Lee had to testify. I could tell he did not want to be there. He looked very put upon.

I don't look for anything to be different when George testifys at the trial though. He wouldn't dare get on that stand and tell the truth unless him and Cindy are divorced or divorcing. I wish just one of those people would tell the truth for CAYLEE'S sake. Do they remember who she was? I really wonder.

BBM, all this talk of molestation, i feel is a ploy for the defense to find a valid causation to ICA's insanity for what she has done so that the jury will find SOME sympathy towards her and go lenient. Don't think that after all the support she has gotten from them is she really going to throw her Dad under the bus. Only just cloud the waters more. They should investigate everyone including GA...he was just the only one with conscience and they will use it against him to save her from the needle. Dad didn't do a thing but all this hype and speculation only works for ICA for her defense.

I seriously doubt that the call contained only the inmates statement that the orther inmates had lied about Casey. If that were the case, Jose would be only to happy to have that bit of info released.

Just to be clear, if the Medical Examiner had requested the records she would have gotten them, HIPAA or not. It's a federal law. I am certifed in this field and have worked in it for almost nine years. And HIPAA stands for Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Sorry it just drives me nuts when everyone types HIPPA.

And yeah people talk to their co-workers all the time about their personal lives, ITA.

LOL Took the words right out of my mouth. Atlanta PI! Never ever had a problem getting existing medical records based on HIPAA, EVER, when the RECORDS existed and the decedent's family, previous HCPs, friends or enemies were ACKNOWLEDGED to the LE and or the ME investigators. Now working with pathological, professional or peri-professional liars is an experience I[ve missed, THANKFULLY!

PS: even managed to get biological samples without HIPAA issues!

IIRC, and I might need to go back and check, but I believe Dr G said there were no medical records available for Caylee. I remember something to the effect Dr. G used the paternity test results that Jesse had.

I had such a difficult time reading those. It took me weeks to do, but I felt that I owed it to Caylee to read them. I am convinced that Dr. Gs testimony and her manner on the stand will bring down the A clan. Along with the forensic evidence, Dr. G will be Caylee's voice.

I also hope HHJP forces the entire A clan to witness Dr. Gs testimony. If GA doesn't crack prior, he should at this point in the trial and all of JBs "investigating" will be for not.

It has been "nearly" two months, it's an embellishment. I'm just happy that he stopped! It makes me feel like there is hope that George will do the right thing, and finally come clean with all that he knows.

One can olny hope he does the right thing by sweet little Caylee. If ANYONE should be standing up in her corner right now, it should be her grandparents!!!!
Please George...DO THE RIGHT THING by that baby.

I have a suspicion that there was another page to that WHY? WHY? WHY? letter, but it was not included in the doc dump (either on purpose, or accidentally). All of George's other letters have his signature - usually as PaPa Jo.
