2010.07.19 Defense is Investigating George

I wonder if George hasn't spoken out because maybe he helped in the coverup and is afraid of it coming out. What if someone in the family knows his role in it and is holding it over his head? In that case his grief will have to overide his fear.

Oh no! Remind me to get my number unlisted! LOL

I'm wondering if they are doing this to use his instability (suicide attempt) as a way to discredit his grand jury testimony. In order for the defense to do this, they must be afraid of something GA knows or that they think he knows.

I am wondering the same Omachka
My number is unlisted..ya better hurry LOL

There's an old saying, that goes;

The first one on the bus gets the best seat.
It's not to late for George to grab that seat out from underneath the entire bunch of them.

He could rewrite the entire story by telling the trueth.
And, the paycheck would have only HIS name on it.

Except the whole family are in this together. It's probably all been discussed and planned.. Make a mockery of the Justice System, because they are above the law.
A nest of vipers.

I don't think it's over yet,he could very
well be under investigation

JB did not look too pleased when LA was
testifying,look out,it could be coming.

JMHO:slap: :run:

Interesting thought there also. Not all of the receipts are in yet.

Maybe the Wizard paid Casey a visit, and she has a "heart" afterall, and that's what the tears were all about?
Or, Lee was being sarcastic with his "I love you" to his sister, cause he also knows what roads the bus has been on already??

The defense has no class and have evidently sunk to the level of the client they defend........no shame and no remorse.

In the end this too shall fail in the same way attempts to blame others have failed. But in the meantime that bus has morphed from a bus into a Sherman tank, and when it stops rolling there won't be a man or woman left standing.

When the trial is over, Casey will have murdered her daughter, destroyed her family, and will have attempted to destroy all those who at one time she counted as friends. It doesn't get any uglier than this...............

My mid has taken that road before in regards to what you just said.

Actually, it's taken that road with every one of them.

None of them believable.
But, no doubt about it, there is some bizarre sheet going on, all the time ~!

Do you think he is acquiescing to being the fruitcake fall guy? And it seems to me that they are trying to pin a whole lot on George.

Oh, I don't think so, unless he's just ready to curl up in a little ball and die. That's a lot for any parent to sacrifice for their child, especially a child like Casey. I can't believe that he is part of this newest gimmick JB is trying to pull off.

Though, I will say that the defense are not gonna stop at pulling anything out of their hats to try to throw reasonable doubt and opportunity out there at the juries feet.

ITA, Purple Iris. Although I don't think this kind of carp usually comes out of hats...

Well, :behind:hats, maybe.

Is the PI working for the mitigation specialist? I.E. pulling up dirt about GA's suicide attempt may be to sway a jury not to give Casey the death penalty because her dad is so unstable?

I wonder who leaked all of these documents on the WFTV website?

GA is ex-LE who investigated crimes including homocide. He knows very well who killed Caylee. He knows KC is a liar. He knows her temper. He knows what KC is capable of. He knows and he still fears her....obviously with good reason. jmo

:shocked2:I never thought of George fearing the perp! You are so right! And with good reason. He knows.

Who is he more afraid of though.........

His daughter, or his wife that holds the title to the house {though in foreclosure}, and the wife that is still supporting him........

What to do = what to do......

I've never considered that George was afraid of Casey OR Cindy (sometimes it takes me awhile---- THANK YOU to all my FB friends for being patient with me!)

By George (haha!) I do believe you all are right! Poor George. BUT I still think he's not entirely blameless in all this. :cow:

I'm thinking the purple shirt he wore in court (someone said purple was Caylee's favorite color). Was a statement. Now he just needs to move on over to the other side of the room.
Nope, if you notice, Cindy also wore a purple dress with a lavender sweater over it. It was to be coordinated with her. Casey was also in pastels. I guess Lee didn't get the memo...

IMO
Mr NeJame would have helped GA from getting thrown under the bus..
but, <sigh>, the A's ruined that by not following his advice...it's their lose.

Agreed. Conflict.

MN would have helped and saved GA but he was both too close to GA versus CA but also would NOT follow CA's direction on the propaganda and mission.

CA won and GA lost, and lost MN.

I feel like we're watching a reality show in real time and the depth of evil that is coming out of Camp KC is truly chilling!! KC has already destroyed the youngest Anthony and now she going to destroy George using her hired guns and Fla taxpayers money!!:furious:

IMO
I predict we will see a made for tv movie within a few short months, heck weeks, after the trial ends and a book or two or more, ...

Cindy also was wearing a necklace that had a 1x1 picture of Caylee hanging on the end.

First time for everything???

They just keep us jumping like Mexican Jumping Beans, don't they....those scamps....

Picture it...
Prosecution side...all those seated behind them dressed in Purple.

What happened to Jesse, Amy, Tony L, Roy K, the TES searchers, the mailman, the ice cream man, the boogey man.... OK, I'll stop. You get the idea.

These are typical SODDI defense tactics. Try to discredit everyone who has something negative to say and try to see if the crime could be pinned on anyone else. They are exploring all options but while I find investigating family members abhorrent when it is obvious the defendant did it, they are probably unlikely to seriously blame one certain person at trial and this preliminary investigation is probably pretty normal. casey may even be unaware of this tactic. Investigators kind of do their thing.

Wow. It costs 45.00 to attempt to interview someone at their home?

This could be reasonable. If an investigator is spending time trying to locate someone, they could be spending time doing something else and getting paid if there was no fee for the attempt. I expect to be paid for time, regardless of whether the time I spend is ultimately fruitful or not.

I'm not really crazy about the As, but I find this despicable. If the defense goes this route, IMO it will backfire (major league). It reeks of desperation. IMO a jury could hypothesize that any child who was willing to serve up their own father is quite capable of killing their own daughter. Mitigation? Forget about it.

I love your thinking!

ITA! It's almost as if Baez and Co. have a big 'ol Wheel of Misfortune with hundreds of their "suspects" on it. Spin the wheel and let's see who we should focus on this month! Past contestants in this sick, desperate tactic by the defense include Jesse Grund, Richard Grund, Roy Kronk, Amy Huizenga, Ricardo Morales, Ton-E Lazzarro, Tony R the cop, and Lord knows who else! I think we all saw this coming lately, but to be honest with you I thought Cindy was up next on the Wheel. JMO.....

RainyGirl - I agree with you about thinking it would be CA. A long time ago I posted my thoughts that the defense would throw one of the family under the bus, and I thought it would be CA. The reason I thought CA would be the choice was her behavior, and antics, etc. I would hope that the jury will see through the changing defense tactics enough to realize that guilt is the only reason the defense tactics keep changing. The truth would stand on its own, and would not change from month to month, or every time a new defense team member is added or leaves. JMHO
