Okay, Channel 6 KOIN - here in PDX 11 p.m. news

www.koin.com

Kyron now missing for 68 days.

2nd person seen with TH 6/4/10 will be big focus at LE presser Wednesday.

The Starbucks in question is on Cornelius Pass Road.
(Starbucks was *NOT* mentioned in relation to the 2nd person issue.)

Ashley Johnston (she's boss) says she has never seen TH and that she has been paying really close attention to the case.

Capt. Mike Shultz (MCSO) spent several hours in the DA's office today.

Skyline neighbor (from area) Laura Lee Pfeiffer, was interviewed and says her property has not been searched and she thinks LE if looking for something very specific and that LE knows more than they are telling the public.

Maybe they were trying to determine if it really was Terri buying that coffee with her credit card or somebody else carrying her baby.

snipped: "The grand jury continued to hear testimony in the case Tuesday. Two women who work at a Starbucks Horman allegedly visited the morning Kyron disappeared are currently testifying. They have been doing do for more than two hours."

What could they know that would merit two hours (and more) of testimony?

Then again ...

didn't the judge order that media couldn't be on the floor where the grand jury is meeting? (or did I dream that lol)

If I wasn't hallucinating, then all the reporter really knows is what time they arrived. They could have been made to wait before actually testifying.

Wow, all these people being called to GJ to recall something that happened so many weeks ago. Makes me hope I'm never called in as a witness. Do you think they still have video from that long ago? Or maybe LE got it a while ago. I'd think either that was her regular stop and there was something unusual or memorable about her that day, or there was video footage that spurred someone's memory. But wow, I doubt I could remember one customer from weeks ago.

Perhaps they've already been in regular communication with LE over their memories earlier in the case, and the GJ is just a formality to put their testimony under oath and add it to the mountain of paperwork in preparation for the case. I think that's what's going on with a lot of the GJ testimony. It's been there all along, we just haven't heard of it because MCSO is pretty good at keeping a lid on things.

Here is the address of the Starbucks where we believe the two GJ baristas work (based on the news reports.) The reporter on Channel 6 said the Cornelius Pass Starbucks, however, the Starbucks is actually on NW Butler St.

7399 NW Butler St, Hillsboro, OR 97124

If you go to Google Maps and enter this address, you will get the map and you can actually see a street view of the store, which is a free standing location.

I don't know how to save maps so I can do the exact link here, however, it is worth the Google Maps search, because if you then type in "groceries" in the "find nearby" box, you can see the Fred Meyer, Albertson's, etc. locations and get a much better feel for the area.

Also, I want to make sure that I state again, as in my previous post located somewhere "upthread" -- the manager of the Starbucks said she did *not* recognize TH as a customer. Two other employees testified, not the manager. Just want to be clear.

Is it possible TH (or DDS or mystery person) ducked in to Starbucks on SI to use the restroom and accidentally left the cell phone in the restroom. Let it ping on SI for a couple of hours and then come back to find it?

Do you know if it's the Butler Street address for sure??? I thought some on here were mentioning the Starbucks INSIDE Fred Meyer on Imbrie? I may have to just take a drive out there today to double check where all these coffee locations are located. My FM only has Peets inside with a Starbucks outside. I'm local and I'm more confused than ever so I can imagine how those of you feel that live on the other side of the country.

P.S. I'm loving that info is finally leaking. Keep the parade of witnessess coming! :)

P.P.S. Yes, we LOVE our coffee here

http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2010/06/day_three_search_continues_hun.html

1:29 p.m. -- Neighbors stop by Brooks Hill Historic church, across the street from the school, to mull over the investigation. "This kind of thing is unheard of," says Jim Kelley, 50.

Kelley, who lives about a mile and a half down hill, at the end of a winding, secluded country lane off Cornelius Pass, said police, federal agents, K-9 teams and helicopters scoured the area Saturday.

"We had two odd sightings of a vehicle on our road Friday," Kelley said. Around 3 p.m., he and a neighbor reported seeing a white pick-up truck with a female driver pull to the end of the long road, idle and then turn around. Then again at 2 a.m. Saturday morning, a similar white pickup truck appeared, idled and when a neighbor loosed her dogs, eased away.

"A, it was strange to have a car there, any car there, that we didn't know, and B, it was strange to have a vehicle come down our dead-end road twice in the same day, hours after a little boy goes missing," said Kelley. "That's beyond rare."

Kelley said authorities have twice searched the deep ravine, creek and railroad tracks located near the end of his street by air and on foot.

Yes, Cornelius Pass keeps coming up but keep in mind it's a very long road. The area where they were searching this weekend is probably around 7-10 miles away from the Starbucks mentioned above on Butler St.

Wow, two hours with Starbucks employees. Maybe I should be more careful who I'm chatty with when I go grocery shopping or out to eat. Who knew baristas could have so much information? Or maybe she was a regular so much that they knew her pretty well. (The boss not ever seeing her says nothing. Some bosses spend most of the day in their office. They probably couldn't say who the regulars are).

I bet she never thought getting coffee would come back to bite her in the butt. I wouldn't have thought of that either. Great, 'cause I needed to be more paranoid than I already am, lol.

After looking at the maps again, I'm convinced the newscaster was talking about the NW Imbrie location. I'm basing that on the fact it's next door to FM and literally right off Cornelius Pass. The Butler Street location is a bit further down the road and quite a ways off Cornelius Pass Road.

Guess where I need to go today for one school supply we forgot? Fred Meyer!!! I will see if I can manage to get out to that one and I promise to check out both Starbucks mentioned here.

Nothing wrong with chit-chat if you have a clear conscience!
