2010.08.16 Tim Miller Interview

It is simply unconscionable what the defense and the Anthony "family" have done to Tim and his organization, and it's a double whammy, since the defense is now trying to get access to the volunteers. (Yes they CLAIM they want to ask about the area being underwater, but we all know they will pounce on any opportunity to find a scapegoat, disguised as their responsibility as attorneys).

The Anthonys have helped to drain TES' funds, and have hampered future services and really indirectly damaged those children in need of TES' services. I might understand this if there were something questionable with the searchers, but we know they're not involved, and that Casey killed Caylee.

Now THIS is something I'd love to see addressed as part of "Caylee's law" if that ever materializes. I hope the legislature takes note of the need to rectify this. It's amazing the people we have to share this planet with. Utterly disgusting.

I thank you for searching, I would have done just as you did if it would have been possible. Caylee appreciates you. :)

My thanks too, camcneishg, it's folks like you who make this world a better place. I've only been on one search, and that was for Danielle Van Dam. It's a very humbling experience.

I believe this case is going to impact searchers. Back in those days (2002) we didn't fill out forms. It was each their own. Fortunately, the company I (and Damon) worked for had gathered a huge search party.

At the end of it all, it was 2 lone searchers who ended up finding her remains (I don't think they were ever named).

Things have sure changed since then :(

YEP ~ that's them in all of their Glory.
Everytime I see or think of THAT boat, I see George with that 🤬🤬🤬🤬 eating grin on his face, like a little boy that finally got the toy that he has always wanted.

Now, for a real belly laugh, go look at their page for becoming a member; rules and regulations and their expectations.
They want you to recruit at least one member a month if you can, and, if you do, you will be rewarded with a $10 VISA gift card ~!!!

Yep!! Did ya catch the picture of George and his crew on the SS Caylee Marie "in service"? Wonder how much fish they caught that day?:loser:

Wow - and here I thought you were joking. I don't want to be snarky, because anyone who searches for children I just don't want to berate. But I look at the SS Cayleee Marie and the boats that searched for Laci Peterson, and they don't quite match up. Looks like George could be out there fishin.

Personally I think this calls for a class action law suit.....many of the searchers, including myself, spent lots of $$, several nights in hotels, several weekends, several meals, family vacation time, not to mention the high price of gas.....Our family gave from the heart to go help out.....but now I am po'd...looking back at it all now....she knew right where little Caylee was all along.....my hubby even gave up his birthday to go search.......and I know we were not the only ones......I am so very thankful for Tim and TES, and the wonderful work they do, and the kind hearts involved.....didn't Sheriff Hardy mention something at one of the pressers about the amount of $ spent, and trying to recover it....seems I remember that when Caylee was found.....anyone?

The thing is, it was done for Caylee.

Like most murderers, KC was not about to reveal the location of Caylee -- especially once CA supported her and didn't want to impact the family image with an admission of guilt.

How long would have the "Caylee is Alive" campaign gone on and wasted the attention and cycles of a nation if it wasn't for the TES searches. Lets face it, CA and GA were in Los Angeles doing the LKL Show and talking up more sightings.

It needed to end and Caylee deserved to be laid to rest in peace and with respect.

The A's were not about that so it took a community of volunteer searchers to try to seek a resolution ..... for Caylee and Justice for Caylee. That's priceless!!

They have to pay dues to be a member?? Wonder how much their dues are? Never knew you had to pay a search and rescue volunteer group?

there is no thanks needed.....we did this because there was a sweet adorable little girl out there somewhere....I felt the need, as a parent, to go help in anyway possible....I had heard of Tim from the Natalee Holloway case and when I heard that he was coming....I was honored....just to give that man a hug.....this was my first search also....our whole family participated.....it really was a life changing experience, esp for my boys.....they were not old enough to go out and search, so they stayed at the headquarters and helped out with things there.....I have been on a few more since Caylee, some closer to home....Haleigh and Somer.....it is a very humbling experience.......

So professional --

Taking souvenirs (Presonal items, etc.)

It looks like cindy wrote this up doesn't it (the whole code of ethics). Don't talk to the media, etc. No photographs, etc. ermmmm...how do you document a search without video footage, etc.

Don't even get me started on dues!

:banghead:

Ahhhh, thank you.

Well, the lawyers for Casey can just look at the records from the people who searched there to see it was under water. The landowner can also testify to this. I know what they are up to, I just can't see how anyone saying it wasn't underwater is going to have any affect on the key issues at hand.
31 days
decomp in trunk
duck tape
Casey's lies
Zany the Nanny

I hate this for the taxpayers in FL, but this is going to be one heck of a trial.

The best option for the defense is for Casey to confess and throw herself on the mercy of the court and ask for leniency.

But this doesn't do anything to enhance the career of Jose Baez, and he'd never consider it. He's in this for face time on the national news and a profit-making tell-all book.

George and Cindy are simply clueless......no sense of right or wrong or decency.

That reminds me, just before they were heading out to LA, the Orlando mall sighting was in the news and GA did an interview and he said "We think that child (mall) could be Caylee." And I thought, then why are you going to California? They knew all along that Caylee was dead, IMO.

I honestly believe that CA wants ICA to hang tough and never ever admit guilt, for the sake of the family image and her own guilty conscience.

If ICA never admits to anything, asis her defiant modus operandi then when inevitably found guilty CA forever has plausible deniability that ICA was framed and there is no proof.

I understand where the other poster is coming from. Here all these people are having their records and personal information gone through by a defense that is on a fishing expedition when it is becoming really clear that people other than Casey Anthony knew where Caylee's remains were. I believe one of those people is Cindy Anthony.

There would have been no need for 4,000 people to look for precious Caylee if these people would have told the truth about what they knew. Dominic Casey, IMO, could have ended this much sooner than Dec. 11th, 2008 if he would have just went to LE, but his ego got in the way.

I feel awful for what all these people are going through. They did what was in their heart and tirelessly searched for Caylee Marie and under normal circumstances I believe these people volunteer without expecting anything back in return, but now they may have to end up getting their own lawyers (if they just happen to pique Baez's attention). That is just so wrong.

I'm all for a class action suit against the Anthonys. I'm all for Roy Kronk, Jesse Grund, Amy H., Tony L, Rev. Grund and anyone else who has been attacked by this family. It's better than allowing the A's to get rich and live the "beautiful life."

Does anyone know if there's a transcript of Tim's interview? My laptop is acting up and I'm having difficulty with the videos. Thanks!

Oh good grief. These people are such con artists, Close down a bad business, open a new one with different name. Same people, same scam, same scheme. And unfortunately it will continue until they are put in jail for fraud.

That Code of Ethics, what a joke.

What is sad about this behavior, is that well meaning people will fall for it thinking this group is professional and has credibility. Far from the truth as we know it.

Dan ~ Sorry, no, I have no idea where that video was, or, if it was even kept.

It was with FOX Orlando though, and she specifically called Holly out by name.
While the camera was running, and Cindy was on her way back to the van, you could hear the occupants of the van, "she's coming back here! oh my God, she is coming back here, get the camera focused!".
There was lots of hurried hands and the camera panning all over getting things set up they were so shocked at what she was doing.

Cindy wasted no time ~
She marched back to the van, stuck her head and finger in and called Holly out on it.

Someone else has to remember seeing that exchange.

Then, it was not to long after that, that Holly DID have a pre-taped interview/"exclusive" with Cindy that was aired.
That one was about an hour long, and I have looked all over for that one to no avail.
I think that it was taped a day or 2 before the grand jury hearing. It was in an outside setting, like a park. They were sitting under a wooden gazebo type thing ~

Does anyone remember that one??
Cindy was VERY mellow in that one, and, she had me actually feeling sorry for her, and was "this close" to believable.
In that interview, Holly asked her what she missed about Caylee and Cindy's reply was that she missed and loved how Caylee would take her little hands, put them up to Cindy's cheeks and squeeze them together, and, tell her, "It'dll be awright CeCe, it'dll be awright".

At the time, I thought how sad ~ WHAT could a 2 and half year old have seen in that house that she had to reassure the grandmother that it would be alright????
That brought tears to my eyes......
Does anyone remember that interview??
I wish that I could find it again, but it seemed to have disappeared shortly after airing ~

I vaguely remember that interview. When you mentioned the part about Caylee putting her hands on Cindy's cheeks and telling her everything would be alright, it jogged my memory.

I also remember that Cindy jumped out of her car and threatened Holly Bristow with no more exclusives on October 14, 2008, when Casey had been indicted and was heading to jail.

I really hope that TM can sue.....afterall, he was "asked" by the family to come search...I am not a TES member, just a volunteer....I was not asked to come search, but TM was.....I am praying that MN can recover some funds for TM and his search team.......

Does anyone know if there's a transcript of Tim's interview? My laptop is acting up and I'm having difficulty with the videos. Thanks!

BBM

I remember this also..... but I have a question.

Did Cindy also say something about this during the "memorial"? I may just be remembering it from what you are talking about, but I could swear she talked about it at the "memorial" (read: pray for KC get-together). PLEASE don't make me go back and watch that to find out..... does anyone know?

TIA!!!
