Maybe an arrest will be coming soon since Ron, Misty and Tommy's drug charges are settled. We can hope!

You cannot convince me that that chunk of time dropped from his sentencing was for him to "establish a timeline." NOPE. You cannot convince me that is the reason.

  • #63
So they gave him a deal on an IF charges are ever filed. Well that's pretty plain folks...IF charges are ever filed, they won't be against Ron. And how in the hello do you give someone a deal on an IF????????????

Why am I not surprised at this outcome? Hey, if there is anyone left who still thinks that Ron isn't getting special treatment, raise your hand! This is total BS and the reporting was totally worthless. Imagine that!:furious:

I believe the article said he would testify to the time line in the Haleigh case. So, it does not sound like he knew all of this information about his missing daughter and has been withholding it. I am personally happy that they worked with him on a plea deal.

PALATKA, Fla. -- Ronald Cummings pleads guilty to three of five drug trafficking charges against him and agreed to testify in any future trial involving the disappearance of his daughter, Haleigh Cummings.

Video: Ronald Cummings To Plead http://www.news4jax.com/video/24698963/index.html

All three are central figures in the disappearance of Ronald Cummings' 5-year-old daughter in February 2009.
Putnam County sheriff said Haleigh Cummings is likely dead.

So, if Ron learned of this NEW information in jail, why isn't it considered hearsay? and therefore worthless? I thought it was reported earlier that Ron would have to answer anything and everything that LE asked of him? Why just a timeline? We have already heard his BS timeline.

So the "man" needed a plea deal to testify in his missing Daughters case...but now I guess I'm supposed to believe he's a good guy? k.

  • #67
Wonder what he'll get for pleading guilty to the 3 other charges? Oh, I think Teh wins this round. Time Served.

Not only that, but what he knew and used to plea down he may have "learned behind bars". Nope. Can't convince me of that either.

What would Ron know about the "timeline" if he was "at werk"

This proves he knows something and he withheld that info. What other info is he withholding?

  • #72
Well, I don't think any of us are really surprised. Sad day in Putnam County.

I would think they would charge him with MORE if he had been withholding information. I don't understand any of this.

:furious: IMO, this is a total "cop-out" with pleading 2 of the charges. If Ron didn't say all that he knew back in February 2009, then he shouldn't be taking a plea deal now to tell what he knows based on a "timeline" or anything else.

Poor Haleigh.

Other than that thought.........I am speechless.

BUIBM

In other words, if there is no future trial, RLC gets a free pass for no reason.

How can they permit such a plea deal when he has supposedly been withholding this information for nearly 20 months on the disappearance of HIS VERY OWN DAUGHTER?

Good question Levi. If he was "at werk" the whole time, anything he knows would have to be hearsay. He's so full of it. :banghead:

Everyone has always felt that the time leading up to that night was very important. E.g. her drug weekend, her coming back home, all of those things that MC has not been clear on. I am sure this is the time line they are referring to. jmo

I certainly hope not. He knew all this stuff Feb 9, 2009. He shouldn't be rewarded for telling it NOW.
