:furious: IMO, this is a total "cop-out" with pleading 2 of the charges. If Ron didn't say all that he knew back in February 2009, then he shouldn't be taking a plea deal now to tell what he knows based on a "timeline" or anything else.

I am beyond pizzed off at how he has been treated. Why would any parent not tell Le all they knew the minute it happened. Unless what he has to say leads to her or her body, an arrest & conviction, I think the SA screwed up.
I would love to be a fly on the wall to see Misty's reaction when she gets this news.

BUIBM

In other words, if there is no future trial, RLC gets a free pass for no reason.

How can they permit such a plea deal when he has supposedly been withholding this information for nearly 20 months on the disappearance of HIS VERY OWN DAUGHTER?

You know Ron walked away with a big smirk. It leaves me wondering if he has got some good, real good, dirt on someone of "influence" and no one wants it to come out.

I'm not surprised, & have been suspecting this for a long time. Once it became clear that LE wasn't looking at Ron as the killer, it became obvious that he was covering for somebody. but, I don't want him rewarded for that. I want him charged. What information does he have, that's so helpful? Did he witness the murder? Does he know who did it? Does he know where the disposal site is? What details has he offerered, that Misty & Tommy haven't? I'm really curious as to what he has told LE, because this case, (I guess), is still unsolved, & there still aren't any arrests. & I don't believe for a second he got this deal, without proving he had some important info. What makes what he said, so much more worthy than Tommy's tales?

I have confidence today. I just cant imagine what kind of deals Ron made to knock two 25 year sentences off. Unless its Haleigh related.

I hope you're right. I just can't imagine a father who would need to cut a deal to do right by his murdered daughter. It sickens me actually. :blushing:

If Misty were to come clean today and tell exactly what happened, I think it would fall on deaf ears. The machine that is "cummings" just reached dock.

Gotta give them credit. They played this game the best....so they win.

I am NOT saying Misty is innocent. I am saying even if she is, she bet on the wrong horse.

But, he will be under oath. jmo

But a liar under oath is still a liar...just because they put their hand on the Bible and swear to tell the truth does not mean they are going to. Every one of them will get on the stand and lie to cover their own arse.

I do not see a deal for the drug cases, they have all plead no contest. He had to tell SOMETHING about Haleigh. That would be the only REAL reason to make a deal...

What I'm interested in, did he get any immunity in any future case?

Levi, surely they would not offer immunity to him if he tells a story that shows him involved in the death ( she got ahold of his drugs) or disposal of her body, would they? I hear Pakistan needs some help with the flood clean up....send them all there, the entire group!

This is gonna come down to a he said-she said between Ron and Misty and who has more credibility. I don't think that coincidental. JMO

Nothings changed. Something still stinks in Satsuma. Outrageous.

So many times, I wanted to believe he was doing the right things and was actually rooting for him, but when he goes on NG and says he isn't aware that LE wants to talk to Misty or he himself cuts off contact with LE because 'besides telling them I was at work, what is there to say' (pretty close) and there are just too many things I can't explain away. JMO.

I would love to know what happened to Haleigh. I honestly think that Mr Cummings loved his daughter and would not hurt her. But his life being mixed with drugs, Misty, and Tommy, who knows if he would tell the truth after Haliegh was gone? Maybe he tried to hang on to what he had left..drugs and Misty. Somehow, despite what happened to Haliegh, I feel sorry for all these young people who had three strikes against them when they were born and now will spend so many years behind bars. What a waste!

And, I'll bet a dollar that he has now admitted to a fight over a gun with cousin Joe at some point. Everyone said it happened and Ron denied it but now that Joe O is in the cross hairs, I think Ron might have fessed up about that little incident. Would make Joe look all the more likely a suspect.
& he has probably fessed up to 'owning' that machine gun...& keeping it in his house, with his 2 little kids. & then got ammunity for all of that, I presume.

One can only hope the truth will be spoken. I totally understand what you are saying.

As IF he cares...IF a person will lie, coverup and set up anyone and everyone they can to keep the truth from being revealed that they are the one responsible for thier own daughter's death whats lying under oath? JMHOOTS

I can think of a few ways to make all of them talk & have it be the truth. It involves certain body parts & some not so nice things u might find in a tool box. Trust me, I would have NO problems holding some pliers, screw drivers or nut crackers if it were legal to torture this bunch of low lifes.

IMHO...It stinks to high heaven....Just as I have suspected for months..JMO

I usually feel a lot of sympathy for these people, but today? not so much. Tommy makes me ill, I'm just tired of Misty, & Ron truly disgusts me. & Haleigh is the one who was born with 3 strikes, & her short little life proves it.

I will never understand. Poor Haleigh.

He's gotta have something or the SA wouldn't be dealing like this. :banghead: Maybe he admitted he snuck out of work to check on the kids after the 8:30 phone calls ended with Misty? I think its something, but not anything to implicate him deeply. JMO

They haven't won anything even IF he is never charged with what happened to Haleigh..

It's been done to them (All of them) long before they made the decision to lie and coverup THE TRUTH...
