Wow. Great show. Methinks if CA and GA heard this, they are NOT happy campers right now. He all but said that Casey is guilty here. Wow. Laughed at the zanny the nanny theory. Holy cow. Apparently he wasn't so much on the same Anthony team as was previously thought.

Dear Lord...is that a bit of LIKE I'm feeling for him now? No way! I must have drank some leftover coolaid, lol.

Do the Anthonys still need a lawyer?

BC "I think so."

Obstruction of justice charges...are those still possible?

BC "It's always a possibility"
Why is it always a possibility? (Besides the obvious) I would hope that in most cases the families involved wouldn't be facing criminal charges.
Ok...now can I say "yippee"?!!!!!!!!!

Voices for Justice (Bart) has her own show called 'voices for justice She was in Levi's show, plugging her show.

Blaise
Jeesh...I didn't know that. I wonder how she reconciles that with her previous role. She seems to go in whatever direction the wind blows.

re: Michelle Bart
I tuned into one of her first shows and it sucked, mostly all misinformation and plugs for Casey's innocence.
Thanks to all who gave such great info on tonight's show, I missed it.
Oh...I see...nothing to reconcile. Justice huh?

I don't really buy any of the spin about brad being a good guy. He's clearly competent, not stupid, and knew Casey was/is guilty and knew the zanny story was absurd nonsense. How in the world can someone still remain attached to this circus on the side of the anthonys as thousands of people search and unknowingly waste 100k dollars and thousands of hours?? What is this person even thinking?? It's despicable and he should have either persuaded them to do the right thing (yeah right) or gotten away from them for his own conscience sake, and I'm assuming he had one.

Thanks for posting the info from the show:)

I'm just jumping with joy that now the only person left who brings the smallest sympathy factor for these "interesting people" has left the building!!!!

Thanks Guys!

Adding my thanks too. I didn't get to hear the program and it's interesting to hear BC's take on things.

ITA...how can anyone justify making money off a dead little girl...especially those who are the closest to her?

Thanks everyone for giving me one of the best threads I have ever seen. I am listening again, and I love how Steph says Casey is now sitting on Death Row.

Steph asking the lady from Australia if the case is big there. The play "Tot Mom" opened there.

I thought Conway was very candid. He sounds relieved that he resigned. I imagine Cindy is unhappy with several opinions he voiced.

He didn't sugarcoat his feelings about Baez. :D

Great questions from the chat room.

BC - says CA did not have plastic surgery

I caught that bit.

I wonder if Brad reads Websleuths because that was a topic brought up in the thread about the Anthonys visit to the NBC Today show.

I didn't think that Cindy had plastic surgery or cosmetic procedures in my post reply:

[ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5516499&postcount=275"]Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community - View Single Post - 2010.08.12 George & Cindy Set for ‘Today’ Friday[/ame]

but other's did.

I did notice that Brad also didn't bring up the fee that he made for brokering the CBS 48 Hours deal for Cindy and George when he and Steph were talking about media paying for licensing.

I do still wonder why he no longer represents Cindy and George even after his explanation given on the Steph Watts show.

Sorry if I don't quite feel sorry for him if he lost out on making money by representing George and Cindy. He did get quite a bit of free publicity and that's worth something.

Agreed, it may be misleading but pro bono means no charge for legal counsel not no money period. And I certainly have no sympathy for him, but that's what some attorneys do, no? NeJame gets lots sympathy yet he is looking to cash out with a book deal. I don't fault him for it. I think one can compose themself in an ethical way and still earn a living even if that means going on tv shows or writing a book.

I haven't quite decided how I feel about Conway yet. Do you think he's been with the A's for 19 months just for the money? Or could he really have thought he was helping people in need? I lean towards the former, but am still not sure - probably somewhere in between.

What could MN write about without breaking his attorney client privilege? Would it be anything worth the time to read? :waitasec:

Why is it always a possibility? (Besides the obvious) I would hope that in most cases the families involved wouldn't be facing criminal charges.

IMO, the state has to do something about this to discourage future families. I think they are waiting til the end of the trial because it's not a punishable lie outside of court. The testimony at trial will really sink them.

Description:

The much anticipated final production of Sydney Theatre Company’s 2009 Main Stage season, directed by Steven Soderbergh, explores issues associated with a real life murder case that is still unfolding in the United States. Tot Mom is based on events following the June 2008 disappearance of two-year-old Caylee Anthony in Florida and the high profile investigation into her disappearance, later discovered to be a homicide. The production is at Wharf 1 from 18 December 2009 to 31 January 2010.

Olivier Award winning and Tony Award nominated actress Essie Davis, last seen at STC seven years ago in The School For Scandal makes a welcome return to the Company and leads a stellar cast that also includes Wayne Blair, Zoe Carides, Damon Herriman, Rhys Muldoon and Peter Kowitz. The creative team is comprised of designers Peter England and Tess Schofield, lighting designer Damien Cooper and Composer/Sound Designer Paul Charlier.

The strange facts of the Caylee Anthony case baffled police investigators and sparked intense and sensational media interest in the US. Nancy Grace, an often controversial legal commentator and host of a popular CNN nightly TV show of her own name, led a crusade for ‘justice for Caylee’ as the tragic story became a 24-hour news spectacle.

Using excerpts from transcripts of Nancy Grace’s show, court documents and police reports, Steven Soderbergh has created a compelling drama for these sensationhungry times.

Is there anyway to listen to this show after-the-fact? I'd love to hear it now. TIA

Yes it did...that play was great BTW! But it's not a story that has gone mainstream here. I took my neice to the night where there was a questions and answers session with the cast afterwards and a lot of the audience were asking about the case, some didn't anything much about it, didn't know Nancy Grace was real (!), it was quite funny, but other people in the audience had read all the discovery and knew it well. I think the people over here who watch Larry King, Fox, CNN etc on Cable know about the case, but people who stick with network news don't. Have to say, am interested to see if this changes when the trial starts, am assuming it will.

And yet Cindy, in her deposition, said they "had" to give Brad $3000.

Somebody speaking with forked tongue. Again.

I remember reading that somewhere but then thought well perhaps with all the other stuff.....glad to know I was correct!

I've always felt he knew that ICA was guilty and that all she spoke of was lies....IIRC he never went on that band wagon of her innocence...if anything he let them speak it--but not him....HOWEVER, that being said, I've always quesitoned him going from one side to the other--I know he met with both SA & defense--that always seemed a tad odd...perhaps just me--
