Looks like rolled up sticky rice more than sushi, but I like your thinking!

Wonder if he ate all the sushi first and if he put Wasabi in his soy sauce?

I love that little guy and I never knew him... IMHO.. He is a precious beautiful little boy..

Gee, I just read this, we had spagetti tonight.
No Godfathers in PA that I know of.
But I think we can get a frozen pizza out tonight for our late night snack
to honor the day.
Bless little KYRON.............WHY won't they tell us where KYRON is????

And that comes through in every post you make.

I took my kids and we went to the Sunnyside location. A volunteer was sitting near the door with a large sign on the wall with Kyron's picture. You could write on it if you wanted. We got there around 4pm and there were 2-3 other families. The cashiers informed everyone that 25% of their purchase was going to the fundraiser. And every single customer that I could hear, they all said that's why they came in tonight.

Anyway, bracelets were $2 each and you could of course donate more than that for one. I bought four bracelets. They had raffle tickets, but I didn't ask about those. The volunteer was pretty busy answering questions and distributing bracelets. The extra bracelets were kept in the back, the manager had to bring out a large bag full as the volunteer ran out. She was keeping the money in a Bank of America bag and she was wearing a screen printed t-shirt with Kyron's picture and the tip line number on it.

We stayed about and hour and a half. In that time, around 10 more families came in. I saw more people pulling in as we were leaving. I am sure it'll be busier later this evening as people get off of work. :)

For those not local, you can call in an order for delivery w/ your credit card and have it sent to the closest sports field (soccer season is underway in NY)...the delivery guy will know where and the staff working the concession stand and the kids will love it I bet.

Okay, I ordered a pizza, but we don't have a Godfathers. Getting a nasty case of Oregon's poison oak and didn't feel like cooking anyway! Will donate to the search funds through the website instead of the pizza place. Wish Kyron would be sitting across the table from me, I'd love to get to know him. We could do sushi together too!

I sent the DBF out this am at 11am to get some bracelets as we didn't plan on going to pizza until later tonite.
Then he locked his keys in his truck and called me to come bring the extra key.

I walked over to the girl (I had not showered yet lol!) and talked with her and her volunteer buddy had not shown up! =(
I told her I'd run home, shower and be back.
The 1:30 volunteer did not show so we stayed till 3pm when the next one did show..

We had to leave at 3:00, as each of us had appointments.

It was not as busy during the lunch and "after lunch" time.
Not many raffle tickets were sold, but it was so very kind of a few people just to come over and donate $$, they didn't even want anything but we gave them a bracelet anyway =)

Yay Portland!! (and suburbs of Portland too!) =)

Just got home from stuffing our belly with yummy pizza! It wasn't very crowded but I saw LOTS of orders for carry out. I'm hoping it gets busier later too. I would imagine the Bethany location was the most crowded...we were over at Barnes. ;)

Thanks very much to all of you Portlanders (not sure if that is what you are called) for keeping us all updated on the happenings with Kyron's pizza day. Since I'm way down here in the south, it's kinda hard to make it all the way up there for pizza at Godfather's but my heart was there with you all. I'm sure that I speak for all of us when I say that you guys make us feel as though we are right there with you and being so far away, I'm very appreciative of all that you guys have done.

Honest truth here: w/o knowing this, we made homemade pizza tonight. We haven't made homemade pizza for months. Kyron, you are remembered!

We did our Pizza-ly duty tonight at Godfather's as well. I'd never been to GF's, but this was the best reason I've ever had to go to a new pizza place. I saw a big poster of Kyron also and there were mini-missing posters at each table (we went to the Tigard location). The place was packed about 8pm.

We had (Shwan's) pizza :) Though we didn't have Godfather's (not a one in sight).

Thinking of you Kyron.

Not to get too far OT, but I was amazed that KH liked sushi! I'm a sushi lover, but never get it cus DH and DS won't walk into a place.

I'd gladly take Kyron for sushi whenever he wanted :)

This thread has been such a blessing. :grouphug:

I'm continuing to pray that Kyron is found and will be eating at Godfather's soon!

OM gosh! I'm watching Kaine on the news right now! He and Desiree ate at one of the pizza places and they just showed a video of them!

Kimster, I saw that as well. Did you see Matt and Amy Roloff talking to them? I'm surprised KGW didn't mention the Roloff's being there. I got teary eyed hearing Kaine talking. :/

Here's a link that mentions the Roloff's being there. It has a quote from Matt and mentions Kyron's visit to the farm. It seems they are even donating use of the farm for another fundraiser in the future. I also read somewhere that Amy did a fund raiser at the school some time back with a puppet band she has.

Here's hoping we wont need any more fundraisers because this precious baby will be home this weekend. Wouldnt that be a perfect way to end the summer??

hope they had a great turnout for pizza orders!

I hope so, too! Hopefully, someone local will let us know how much money was raised :)

It was too hot for pizza in these parts yesterday, but I thought about Kyron and his family when DH and I enjoyed Red Snapper. I know that Kyron enjoyed fishing, so I thought our dinner was a good choice :)
