To answer another poster's qestion of why some people have now started feeling sorry for Misty or changed their mind about her; I haven't changed my mind about her and feel sorry only that she did not deserve to get more years than Ronald. Now that is just how I feel. Misty had no record prior to the drug arrests, and Ronald's is a mile long. I do feel it is unfair for everyone else to get 15, then the book is thrown at Misty. Whatever Ronald gave up to get his plea deal has certainly not brought Haleigh's case to a conclusion. Adding that to the fact that he would not give his information earlier on, then I honestly feel he is worse than Misty. Again, JMO.
I hope that Misty thinks long and hard tonight and realizes just what and who got her into this big mess. She also needs to come to terms with what she has done. I have no sympathy for any criminal or drug dealer, but in this case Ronald should have to do as many, if not more years, than Misty. This is JMHO.
It's pretty apparent that LE believes that Misty was the leader of these drugs deals and was not a novice, based upon the testimony of Travis Smith. He's an FBI Investigator, not just a local cop. Reading between the lines, it sounds to me like they also consider Misty the primary perpetuator of the crime against Haleigh. They are not interested in Ron Cummings; they are interested in Misty Croslin. Ron C was a byproduct of the drug sting, due to his own stupidity. If he had not tagged along, he would be sitting at home instead of in prison, same as Donna and Hope. My opinion is that his prior arrests are similar to those of many other young PC men and they all were handled about the same way. Now that PC is cracking down on the middle drug-dealers, they all got caught. But LE definitely has shown a special interest in Misty and this says a lot.
