lol brilliant. Let's hope he gets the same response as Oliver did!
"Investigators have used (them) up. We just need more, that's all," Mason said.

I've read Baez's Motion for more investigator hours, and it sure didn't convince me that more hours are needed. Am I wrong in thinking that the JAC cap for investigator hours is 100 hours (thought I read this in an attachment to Baez's motion for reconsideration)?
And, Baez has now used up 400 hours. Four times the cap. And, Baez is still asking for more. Am I confused, or am I undestanding things clearely?

What could the investigator possibly have to investigate? The deadline for adding witnesses is quickly approaching. If HHJP grants their request, wouldn't that be like HHJP delaying the trial? I just don't see him authorizing this poorly written request! JMO
For once, another reporter besides Kathi Belich asked them a relevent question:
Bristow asked why the defense is doing so much investigation late in the game. They [the state] are late in the game at disclosing evidence to us, Mason said.

Of course, it's all the prosecutors fault.
Of course it is the SA's fault. :innocent:
In fact, I could hear CM's condescending tone when I read his comment, "Investigators have used them up. We just need more, that's all."
Oh, that's ALL? lol
Prepare yourselves - I guarantee you the BIG reason we are about to hear is going to be because the defense discovered those "hundreds" of TES volunteers that were discovered during the doc review/phone bank to have been SOMEWHERE on Suburban Dr. during the search.
:banghead:
I have to quote myself to insert a correction here - and I hope someone else in the thread has already corrected me - because in addition to the above, Baez and Mason are asking for an additional 300 hours because in their words, they (the hours) are all used up.
Well, I say "cry me a river"

Bristow interviewed Mason and defense attorney Jose Baez as they walked outside the courthouse. Mason did all the talking. Baez, wearing sunglasses, walked along silently.
Bristow wanted to know if that will be the end. No, Mason said. Its going to take a lot more than that.
Judge Perry says what he means and means what he says.Worse than we thought....!!
IMO It will never be over if Mason can play the DP card and seek more time, money, resources, etc. I cannot see this trial starting on May 2011. IMO.

CM is so arrogant! You have to see the video, I just posted it in the news thread. He can ask all he wants, but HHJP will get the justice train moving for Caylee.
Thanks Nums24 - so somebody, anybody tell me please what is all this evidence the State is presenting "late in the game" that needs far more than the additional 300 hours they are currently asking for? :waitasec:
Didn't the state say all but 10% of the evidence had been presented? Or does this mean the Defense finally actually looked over the evidence that has been streaming in for the last two years?:waitasec:
