it make me laugh in theory, but it practice it depresses me. I think DS truly is one of those really, really, really, terminally nice people. I think there is a 70% chance that OCA stays with DS forever. and it will probably cause DS great pain in the long run, always thinking that the good nature of people will win given time enough.

I hear ya, 2goldfish! But, I have to add, being a terminally nice person doesn't mean you have to be terminally ignorant. It was the DT's job to get the best possible sentence for KC. And they did. It was not their job to buy into or believe the BS that they were using in order to do that. They were privy to all of the same information everyone else was. If they are keeping her now, IMO, it is because they view her as a cash cow. It is possible that DS genuinly likes her and wants to protect her. I just can't fathom how. They all know about her thefts and lying. Heck. The whole world now knows that she is a liar and a thief extraordinaire. If any of the DT thinks that she will not stoop to stealing from them after she stole from her mother, father, brother, grandmother, elderly grandfather's nursing home account, "best friend", and who knows who else, then they shouldn't be surprised when she steals from them. I don't wish DS harm, but I also don't understand what she is thinking if this is true. JMO.

Is there anything in Robin's book that talks about the dating of the diary and when she actually wrote the last entry? It seemed to fit so well with what OCA did and thought when she killed Caylee.

Since reading the summary of this book and particularly about Dottie hiding OCA on her estate until she is "mentally well" and then having Barbara Walters interview her to make some money...I've been spending some time thinking about that and...:waitasec:

I'm guessing if Barbara's producers are going to pay Baez a hunk of money for that - just exactly what would they talk about? What even soft questions could Barbara ask her - knowing OCA could say just about anything.

Would it go like - So, Ms Anthony - may I call you OCA - how exactly are you feeling these days? Not crazy anymore? How's Zanny? Oh you haven't talked to your parents for four years? What life like for a child killer who got off?

I'd hate to think of a lawyer being so naive, but she may be one of those people who thinks she can "save" her. If they have a Buddhist retreat, they probably think they can transform Casey by their kindness and philosophies.
Casey will go along with it 100%, she'll be whatever they want her to be, she'll morph into the person she thinks they want her to be. Their attempts may work on someone normal, but not a sociopath. Right now they are nothing more than substitute parents for Casey. I'm sure she's telling them, "I wish I had a mother and father like you". And they are eating it up.

Watch - in time you'll see DS's face pop up again on TV advocating for her, for people to give Casey a chance because "She's changed!" she knows the error of her ways and she's transformed into human being. Then we'll see someone bite and the next thing we know, Casey will have an interview offer.

I don't think she's literally stealing from them, but I'm sure they are giving her everything she needs right now, so she has no reason to steal anything at this point. Casey knows what to do to get what she wants, she's not being careless with their generosity, yet. She'll start with an inch here or there, and before you know it, she'll be running their home.

I have no doubt that DS probably thinks she can "save" KC again since they saved her from the DP. She has spent much of her practice helping people and causes that she really believed in. I also agree that KC will be running the show at their home. She gets pretty ugly when she's not. But when it comes to the stealing, I believe that even if she hasn't yet, she will eventually. They may be giving her everything she needs right now. So did CA. Roof over her head, food, car, everything for the baby. But thay wasn't enough for KC. She needed to shop at Target. I think she gets a rush from the stealing and spending of other peoples money. DS can't just give her that. And, if DS is smart, she better be keeping a very close eye on her husband, if she is married, as well as her money. I would bet there is a piece of paper somewhere that reads "KC Sims! Mrs. KC Sims, ESQ! Mr. and Mrs. Sims!" Lol!

No, I don't recall anything about the diary entry in her book, and it was not discussed during the Q & A. Perhpas RR can ask this if they get a chance to go to the other signing this this week.

I've thought she could have played stupid and claimed that she left Caylee with GA & CA for the past 31 days and just take that lie from there.

I've often wondered what lie she would have offered, especially now that we've learned that she would use a lie until it could go no further - and then created a different, expanded version of that lie. Logical,

She is a sociopath and she is not going to change. And the entire defense team KNOWS she killed her child. It is patently clear from Ashton's book that the defense was aware of the different stories she was telling the shrinks. We don't know that she is with these people. She could be or she couldn't be. WE know that Cheney would not do it for a substantial amount of time, as he said so.

I am surprised she is there but not totally. But I would be very concerned if I were DS and she was staying with me. I would be concerned about every male member in my household, because without a doubt KC would be trying to sleep with all of them, IMO.

Now I'm wondering if she was hemming and hawing because she knew Casey would be staying at the Chateau Simms, and did not want that thought to enter Joy's mind, as Joy might ask her if Casey would be staying with her. She didn't want to inadvertantly reveal something, perhaps?
I'm disgusted with it, though (what's new?)...so, DS is like a mommy to Casey, the mommy she always wanted: big hacienda, lets KC lay around and be lazy, KC has adult-like and very deep chit-chats with the incoming and outgoing, like she has her own little life of luxury. :sick: :sick: :sick: Life fit for a whacked out princess, I'll say. KC doesn't care, after all, if she has 1 friend or 100, she'll suck the life out of whoever she can and completely entertain herself in the process.

I don't think DS' is anywhere close to being a good, kind hearted person.

She jumped up and down like a 2 year old while celebrating over a baby killer being set free. I was embarrassed for her. Who acts like that...in any situation?

If anyone can stand to see it again, DS was also very excited about getting to stand at the podium with her little killer after the NG verdict. JBP had to say 'not all the DT, just a sampling'.

I think there is something wrong with DS but if she wants to play with fire she better expect to get burned. I have no sympathy for anyone from the DT.

Casey Anthony, imo, is someone who genuinely likes to hurt people. She feeds off other people's pain and suffering. She thrives off of it. IMO, she is just pure evil. Her soul is black as is her heart.

It does not take much for Casey Anthony to turn on someone. Amy never did anything to Casey and Casey betrayed her. Her grandparents did nothing to her and she betrayed them. She betrayed Lee, supposedly the "coolest brother" ever. She betrayed both of her parents who I don't even like, but she did betray them. And she betrayed Caylee... the precious life that she carried in her body for nine months.

I doesn't matter to me who has Casey... what matters to me is that she not be given the opportunity to extend the number of victims she has. If it is DCS's, then I really hope her husband is looking out for her.

And honestly, I feel no pity for the defense or the A's. They are where they are today because of what they did for over three years. No pity. They are getting what they deserve, and part of me hopes Casey robs DS blind.
