i know this looks utterly ridiculous, but i didn't know any way to retroactively add a poll to the thread aleady in existence, or to move these posts and still keep the poll post as the opening post, as moving/merging arranges posts according to time posted. (sorry, been at this all day, and my brain no longer functions.)

I added "to grill him about EB" and "all of the above" to the poll, b/c I think they likely asked him about everything.

I voted all of it. AB is wiggling on a pin. This is just starting for him, IMO. What did he do to Zahra, his own daughter? Don't tell me it's okay that he dismembered her after death. Don't tell me it's okay to strike a deal with this man when Zahra would be alive if not for HIM. JMO though.

And I voted "all of the above". While I do believe it could be a personal notification of possible remains found, I also believe LE is trying to get information from him, and reactions. Whether or not he actually is giving them information is another matter though. MOO

Never been arrested so have no clue but would LE really inform him of any findings if they suspected him? would they not have the information then arrest him and lay it out to him after charges have been laid

I believe LE could use such a disclosure to gauge a reaction from him. MOO

Here's a "what if" for pondering. What if ED got here and told LE that she had, indeed, been in touch with KB after finding AB and Zahra in NC? Wouldn't LE then want to know if KB had contacted him? And, what she had said? Wouldn't LE also want to speak with KB about this? Or would phone records and computer forensics have already shown LE this to be true?

I believe that it may be to LE's advantage just to let AB twist in the wind while evidence is being processed. He's not going anywhere...surely he has to know that he is being watched. Wonder how he's feeling tonight..knowing that knock on the door (if he is lucky) could come at any moment..moo

I have 0 sympathy for Adam..if that makes me a bad person..then I'm a bad person and just fine with it..

I have that sick feeling that ED locating Adam & EB will play a big part in Zahra's death sadly..

Phone and computer records would show that they communicated, but LE would still want to question KB about the circumstances and what was said.

According to the video titled "Zahra Baker remains "found"" at the link below, ED was also at the Hickory Police Department this afternoon. As such, I expect they had meetings with both biological parents to advise them that remains have been found and they suspect them to belong to Zahra.

I selected "other" and "notifying him of possible remains". It might be possible that Adam met up with Emily at the PD. I know it's a "stretch", however, anything is possible and we know LE works in mysterious ways.

Even as disgusted as I am with AB (and think he contributed to Zahra's death), I believe that LE would follow protocol and advise both natural parents of any possible human remains found before making any statement to the media. They most likely have confirmation on the bone that was sent for testing as to whether or not it belonged to Zahra.

Then I believe LE moved on to all the other choices in this thread and watched AB very carefully as to what each reaction was.

Possibly O/T for this thread: IMO, LE needs to do a PC. LE needs to come out in public now even if it is only to say that they will continue to search and investigate until they are satisfied that they have recovered all of Zahra's remains that can be recovered. LE needs to openly reassure the public that this case will be solved and ask the public to please be patient as they go about their work. LE needs to acknowledge that they do realize that the public wants information and that it will be forthcoming as soon as they possibly can give it.

*LE has worked very, very hard and very tirelessly. They are so appreciated. I just feel some assuring words to the public is in order.

I would hope that LE had Adam and Emily in at seperate times so as to be considerate to Emily.

I vote method of notifying him of possible remains, and other. Get his reaction, watch him sweat. Maybe they have found some personal items of Zahra's such as clothing to show him and see if he would break. I think others were interviewed, not just AB. KB, maybe they want to talk to her to see if she will say anything about her sons demeanor the last few weeks or anything he has said to her. I really hope tomorrow will bring a lot more info out and another arrest made!

WBTV has confirmed through a source with knowledge of the investigation that police are conducting additional interviews on Thursday, although the source would not say who is being interviewed.

I agree if nothing else perhaps LE arrange that meeting on the sly so that Emily could get her few words out to AB to shake him up and give Emily that little satisfaction.

I would think they would not have Emily and Adam come at the same time. She may do him bodily harm, I would in her shoes.
