I agree, Donjeta.

And according to one of the phone calls between Tommy and Hank, Misty's letter where she said JO did that was bs.
With these phone calls in conjunction with Misty's phone calls really puts things into perspective for me and things are starting to make sense.
She tells her dad that the JO story came to her in a dream, hence the letter.

Tape 6.. Hank telling Tommy he believes Ron has something to do with Haleigh missing. doesn't know what but he thinks drugs had something to do with it... Tommy mentions that Ron was always asking him to go with him to rob "this dude or that dude". Tommy wasn't into that "sh*t"

Yeah, he'd rather wait and do his robbing of peoples homes with his mom.

I heard that tape and agree, not sure which one it is, but I only listened up to 5, but it is very telling. IMO Tommy thinks "dope" is Roxies and Lindsy the nurse (who knows her husband has used these drugs illegally) disagrees.

I think IA with Tommy, pills on the street are "dope", just as much as crack is.

I'm with his wife on this one. I was raised by a pill head, was a pill head my entire life and have never heard anyone callin' it "dope". All kindsa other things but never dope.

Tape 1...talking about Hank needing a ride, Lindsy saying oh well. Tommy said she needs to pick Hank up Thursday, Lindsy said she's not going to get him, he can call a taxi.

Good! Go Lindsy!

It seems like Hank is making up stuff from everything he's ever heard in the media and trying to make up scenarios to take the heat off his kids. I'm not believing a word he says and not sure it's even true that he can't read and write.

ita. Clearly he can read, he keeps bragging about reading the bible.

In Tape 5 Tommy says Ron shot at the mirror in his house with the 9MM gun.

Interesting! Was this before HaLeigh went missing or after?

That is not clear but I imagine it was before.

It's Hank that can't read. Tommy can read, and he is the one that reads the bible. Back at the very beginning, (one of the first tapes ever released) Misty told her dad she had written him a letter and Mom would read it to him. I believe he can't read....who would put that stuff out there if it wasn't true?

Tommy says all of his arrests are because of Misty. Then he says, except one, and it's some guy that rides a golf cart around the neighborhood, drinking and doing pills. Says he will be caught too. I'm thinking this is the guy that reported him for being asleep (drugged) at the wheel of his van after dropping the kids off at the bus stop. I think it's interesting about Misty being the cause of all his arrests. I just wish he had gone into more detail. I still think she and Ron planted the items at his home, that were stolen from the B&E's. Any man that puts a gun in his own mouth, and shoots at himself in the mirror, would have no problem planting evidence on his brother-in-law. I can't wait to see how this plays out in court.

Sad to hear that Tommy is still trying to blame everyone else for his mistakes. maybe Lyndsy should read him the police report or a few newspaper clippings about how his neighbors felt and what they observed while he was still living in the area.

http://www.artharris.com/blog/wp-co...ommy-Croslin-burglary-report-1-2010-577-1.pdf

snipped from police report~I retrieved the items from the Croslin residence and shed in hopes of identifying where the items had been taken
from. Several neighbors on Tyler Street indicated to myself that Hank Croslin Jr, aka Tommy, was often seen
walking up and down the roadways late at night so they believed any other items that were recovered would be
from the immediate area.~ end

Lyndsy herself stated who she thought brought the stolen items into the house and how they got there.

snipped from police report~On 21 January 2010, while continuing the investigation of the residential burglary at 120 Tyler Street in Satsuma I
learned from Lindsy Croslin that she had located items at her residence that did not belong to anyone at the
household and she believed her husband, Hank Croslin Jr, had stolen the items and kept them at their
residence.
The items she recognized as not belonging to anyone in the residence was the items listed above as
well as several DVD movies and (4) Gameboy games. Lindsy had already gathered the items and had them
awaiting law enforcement for recovery
.~ end

I hope Tommy is thinking about coming clean in more area's of his life than just the Haleigh Cummings case, his kids deserve a father that accepts responsibility and punishment for making mistakes. JMO

Elle, I understand what you are saying, but sometimes things are not what they seem. Lindsy knew her husband was drugging it up big time, and when this all came out, she assumed it was her husband that brought the stolen items into her home. I'm not certain it wasn't Tommy, but with all the lies Misty has told on Tommy, plus she lied about the rat in his mailbox, and she was in the car when Ronald did it. She and Ron have done a lot of things to put Tommy smack in the view of LE's rear view mirror. Like I said, Tommy may have done these things, but it's far from a slam dunk case! Tommy himself said, that for all he knew, one of Misty's boyfriends put those things in his house. Other than the items being found in the house, I don't see the evidence that points to Tommy. I heard Tommy say on one of the tapes, that he was always out walking with his kids in the neighborhood. I don't know if walking in your neighborhood at night makes you a burglar. I do it all the time with my doggie. Hope my neighbors don't think I'm casing the neighborhood!

How come they can talk on the phone several times a day? Is this new, or has incarceration always been so liberal with outside contact?

Above BBM. That's just comical THAT statement comin from someone who burglaries are his M.O.... Quote, "wasn't into that chit", says Tommy... Yea, right!

Well, it is a bit different going out to confront and threaten people with guns and tell them "give me all your money, or else", and sneaking secretively around in dark houses when everybody is sleeping, hoping they won't see you, gathering DVD's, towels and cleaning supplies in a bag, IMO. Not that either one has much cause to feel superior but I can see why all the burglars wouldn't necessarily feel comfortable doing robbery and vice versa. Robbery may suit a different temperament.

Drugs make people do stupid things. If Tommy was hooked on Roxies (which I am 100% sure he was) I am not surprised in the least that he was robbing people's houses. A Roxie goes for 10-20$. You could pawn some dvds at a pawn shop and get the money. If he was going through withdrawals from the pills, walking helps relieve some of the restless leg stuff that goes on.
Roxies are a wonderful drug if taken properly. They help relieve pain when the pain is severe. However, they are highly addictive if taken the wrong way-crushing up and snorting them. I know from personal experience.

The more desperate an addict becomes to score his/her high, the more risks they will take criminally. It usually starts out with stealing from people in the family, then to breaking into neighborhood cars for change and items that can be easily pawned, then it moves into neighborhood home invasions, then on to businesses with threats of gun use. At least that has been my experience with a close relative.

Tommy doesn't really discuss too much about his level of addiction at the time of his arrest. But, these tapes have Lyndsy saying he looks much better as well as some of the other friends/family. Earlier tapes have him saying that he was still dreaming about getting high. These tapes indicate that he lost his last job due to Xanax and crack??? use. The money for his habit HAD to come from somewhere. IMO

Of course walking in your neighborhood at night doesn't make you a burglar, stealing from his neighbors to support his drug habit makes him a burglar and until he is acquitted of the burglary charges I choose to support the people in the community that were preyed upon and victimized. I have to give law Enforcement in this case a lot of credit with their investigation into these burglaries and I think they arrested the right person.
