2010.5.23 Tommy jailhouse videos on Sky: General Discussion

IIRC an unnamed AH source claimed to have overheard Crystal say, "Joe killed my baby" - I seriously doubt these were Crystal's words (out of Crystal's mouth...).

That could actually be true. We know the following facts: LE spoke with Crystal and the Cummings family at the Sheriff's Dept. GGma Sykes talked to Gma Flo the day before that meeting. Gma Flo told GGma Sykes that Tommy "confessed" that Joe killed Haleigh and LE was going to search. GGma Sykes and TN believed Gma Flo to the point of searching the woods.

Nowhere does the statement say that LE told Crystal that "Joe" killed her baby. It could have come from the Cummings side who "knew" from Gma Flo.

Tommy says all of his arrests are because of Misty. Then he says, except one, and it's some guy that rides a golf cart around the neighborhood, drinking and doing pills. Says he will be caught too. I'm thinking this is the guy that reported him for being asleep (drugged) at the wheel of his van after dropping the kids off at the bus stop. I think it's interesting about Misty being the cause of all his arrests. I just wish he had gone into more detail. I still think she and Ron planted the items at his home, that were stolen from the B&E's. Any man that puts a gun in his own mouth, and shoots at himself in the mirror, would have no problem planting evidence on his brother-in-law. I can't wait to see how this plays out in court.

Maryann, I respectfully disagree. I don't think Ron and Misty planted any thing at Tommy's home (not that their not capable of doing so) but because when LE came to Tommy's house looking for these items, Lindsay lead them right to them.

I just can't see Tommy-steal-a-gun-with-mommy Croslin stealing dish soap and paper towels. It simply defies explanation why a man whose MO is stealing guns and items he can sell would steal household items.

Don't get me wrong, I think everyone could use some Scotch-brand scrubbies.......

Tommy saying everything that's happen to him is all LE's fault makes me laugh. It's their fault he is in jail.:floorlaugh:

Drugs make people do stupid things. If Tommy was hooked on Roxies (which I am 100% sure he was) I am not surprised in the least that he was robbing people's houses. A Roxie goes for 10-20$. You could pawn some dvds at a pawn shop and get the money. If he was going through withdrawals from the pills, walking helps relieve some of the restless leg stuff that goes on.
Roxies are a wonderful drug if taken properly. They help relieve pain when the pain is severe. However, they are highly addictive if taken the wrong way-crushing up and snorting them. I know from personal experience.

Wow!

If we are talking about the same drug oxycontin (we call them Oxy's here in NW Ontario, Canada). They sell according to the number mg in the pill.
ie. They come in 10mg all the way up to 80mg. People on the street actually pay 80$ a pill!

I haven't finished listening to the jailhouse tapes. My life is structured chaos right how :)

Here is something that struck me about the various tales that MC has spun. Not sure if this is the correct thread.

1. MC's relating of her story of what happened that night as far as what her actions and reactions were--did vary within the media (as we have all seen).

2. In an interview very soon after Haleigh was reported missing MC stated on national TV that she didn't trust her cousin from TN and (didn't put anything past him or something to that effect, again forgive---I'm on my way to Dr. office and don't have time to look it up to support it).

3. During her Voice analysis she gives another version of seeing men in the MH while in a dream like state.

4. Either during the LVA or the LDT she suggests she thinks her brother may have had something to do with Haleigh being missing because he's been acting strange. (Not sure which brother but I assume it was ToC).

5. While in jail she implicated ToC and JO?

6. In one of her tapes she intimates that RC could be responsible.

I find none of the above scenarios can be trusted IMHO. I can't trust a single word that comes out of her mouth because as Donjeta pointed out when you try to decipher what a known liar is lying about ---you just can't most of the time pick what's true and what's not with any certainty.

I do find it interesting that she is pointing the finger at everyone else but herself. That IMHO tells me that she knows exactly what happened to Haleigh that night. To tell would be to directly implicate herself. She's not going to do that. IMHO.

As for her Attn. I really haven't paid a lot of attention to him or other Attn's involved with all these cases but I imagine he is limited in his defense tactics because she probably is giving him the same stories---and IIRC he's got to pick one and run with it.

While there are vast differences in the personalities of KC and MC. I do see some similarities. JMHO.

How come they can talk on the phone several times a day? Is this new, or has incarceration always been so liberal with outside contact?

Ya know what I don't get? Why can these people just pile into the jail to visit with the records they have? I can't visit people in jail because I'm a felon. I guess it must be a state to state thing rather than federal but I always thought it was across the board. Really, It's like they get special treatment. *pout* LOL

Bold is mine-

Absolutely . It's the disordered personality.

OLG,

I think it is different in each state. Here felons visit felons all the time. Only some felons haven't stopped doing the bad stuff and they get drugs into the jail on visits. No joking. (Guess they want more charges piled on their records, I don't know.)

Roxy's are milder than Oxy's. Roxy's are like OxycoDONE rather than OxyconTIN. take enough of 'em and it all evens out though.

Yeah- ya just don't care. I'd be at court handing out Klonopins to people I knew (thinking I was all cool or something I spose') Crazy the self destructive things addicts do.

They justify it, debs. If you steal things you need you aren't doing anything wrong. My mom used to steal us shoes as she was stealing her smokes and whatever other junk and it made it OK in her head because her kids needed shoes. The justifying switches it around in their heads- they have done nothing wrong.

I get it if they're cleptos and they're grabbing it from the store; but breaking into a house to steal these items? C'mon......it defies logic, and even if it's the Croslin's, it defies even their logic.

End of tape. And with that, I am off to bed. Night all!

It was easier reading your comments than it was listening to the tapes.

You did a super job. Thanks! :blowkiss:

OMG, I've only listened to five of these tapes and I have to take a break. Can't listen to these people blaming the world for their woes. I've never been in jail, so it's a bit difficult for me to listen to these unemployed, uneducated druggies blaming the world for their problems. It's LE's fault Tommy is in jail because they were after Misty. GMAB If he wasn't dealing drugs, popping pills, etc., but leading a decent life, putting his wife and kids first, he wouldn't be in jail. :furious:

I can understand why LE doesn't want to have to listen to these tapes. :banghead:

Come visit me, put money into my account, put money on my phone account, I need a place to live, the car doesn't work, I don't have a job, I'll apply for jobs in two days (why not tomorrow?, why not today?). Mom can't leave the county, the whole family has a court date. Unbelievable.

It's all Misty's, Ronald's, and LE's fault. :loser:

I don't think Tommy was breaking into people's houses to steal brillo pads and dish soap, I think he was stealing things he could take somewhere and sell for 10 or 20 bucks and make just enough to buy his next high, the brillo pads and dish soap were more than likely things he needed for the house and just an added bonus.

Neither he nor Lyndsy were working at the time, and honestly I don't think Lyndsy cared where the stuff came from until Tommy got caught. JMO

So he was shopping in people's houses! Okay, that makes some sort of weird sense. :waitasec: He has been known to go shopping with his mother.
