According to Hank, Fields is working for free and Misty doesn't want this to get out...She keeps shushing him in the SKY videos,, Vol. 2 Vid. 2 at about the 17 minute mark..
I thought he lawyer was not going to work for her on the, Haleigh case?
Good Morning WSer's!
Quote by Att. Robert Fields;
"It`s like a garage sale. We`ve put it all out there, and we`re just waiting for someone to buy it."
My interpretation (my opinion only);
"It's like a garage sale. We know the "product" (story) we're trying to sell is "faulty" (a lie) but who knows, someone just might buy it..."
(Respectfully Snipped)
Quote by Donjeta;
"...he wouldn't be implying that his client is a hopeless liar, would he?"

That may not have been his intention but that's certainly how his statement came across to me Donjeta!
JMHO ~
IMO only I do not think Fields is a very good attorney, she might be better off with a PD..... I know he has a carrpy client but I do not feel he is very good, Baez might be better maybe :innocent:
IF Fields did make that statement <im not so sure> - it's possible Mistys story may have implicated Ron.? And Fields probably suspects LE doesn't want to hear anything about a possible Ronald involvement..
Continuing previous thought:
I wonder if new counsel could argue that she wasn't emancipated because the parent who emancipated her was high as a kite when she signed the paperwork. :crazy:
Argue Misty's limited capacity (as a child) to understand legal proceedings, rewind all the lies, and let the girl start over with proper counsel ...
(slamming the adult advisors in her life at the time - parents, TN, GGMS - not RF)

I think Misty has argued herself out of a Limited Capacity defense. Getting engaged, getting divorced, Misty asserts herself as someone achieving what it is she wants in life, even if that divorce (as she says) was what Ron wanted, but 'oh well'.....I can't see them looking at her and retroactively applying the "yeah, you're only 17, how much can you take, little girl?" defense for her. She got what she wanted. She just didn't know what it was she was actually getting along with it all.
