Ok, I don't want to go back and forth, feel free to believe what you want. Do some research, look up actual cases where remains were found in cold temperatures, where they were found in iced over water, in 35 degree rapids, it's out there.

I would like to add however, that there is truth in ideal temperatures, and when working HRD there honestly is not the urgency (there is to an extent for criminal reasons, but not for life), so waiting until conditions are right is preferable. Those conditions are certainly going to increase your odds of success.

I am not a fan of blanket statements, that's my only issue here with the quote made. KWIM?

Agreed. Well, I wouldn't say BS, I'd say that there is a high probability his memory is faulty. But yeah, I agree.

I know there isn't anything humorous about this case but it did occur to me that I wished KH didn't have such blah taste in pickup trucks. If he'd gotten a custom psychedelic paint job or gotten it flamed or painted it fluorescent pink or anything more memorable than plain white, it would make sightings easier to rely on.

I had to drive my DH's friend to Home Depot to buy some lumber, in DH's F250 Long Wheel Base Pick Up. I normally drive a Prius! I also had to later run to the Grocery Store. I am smaller than the descriptions of TH. I feel like I am driving a Sherman Tank. It is not at all easy for a small woman to turn that thing around!

I do understand TH's reasons for parking at the strange places at the Fred Meyer parking lot. Tonight I parked on top of the line for two parking spaces just so I could pull through and not have to turn around. I also have to head away from town so that I can make a large turn on another street. I am not able to make a U-turn on our 4 lane highway.

After looking at the picutres, KH's pick up is just like ours. Ours is dark Burgandy, not white! We have a complete Crew Cab with 2 full sized seats and 4 full sized doors. Then the back of the truck is long wheel based.

My point being that it would take a lot of room to turn their F250 around on those logging roads. But, TH could have been a very good backer! Thus she could have backed out of the logging roads.

Hope this sheds some light on the sighting's of KH's pick up truck!

I agree that when DRIVING by going opposite directions and mostly seeing hair, you could mistake this guy for a woman. Especially if you were just checking to see if it was your friend. People's minds subconsciously go to "long hair = woman" and they have look harder to see it's a man. Driving by you wouldn't have time to do that.

I also want to know if he did have access to a white truck, which would be required in order for him to have been the person Chas saw. All I have seen is that he was driving a 1984 Dodge truck. This thing is NOT going to be mistaken for a newer Ford.

I would also like to know if he had been stopped by police at all since June?

Did he think they were coming after him for something more serious when they pulled him over?

Had they been investigating him for something else when they pulled him over and that is why he snapped? Or was it the meds like his family thinks?

Have police looked for any connection between Terri and this guy?

I agree. When I first read about this, I was thinking the same thing -- did LE look for ANY connection between TH and this guy.

In my opinion, my opinion only, this guy could pass for TH more than DeDe.

DAD doesn't have a college degree, so I don't think he'd be a teacher. Maybe a school volunteer. One of the news articles said he works tues thru fri. But he would have Mondays off every week, so I guess he could do volunteer work then.

It's my understanding there is a very large Russian population in the Seattle area, not sure how much there is in the Portland area.

I get what you're saying. Although anyone close to her, with any knowledge of electronics could have obtained some info on that. The other possibility is that she didn't pay her bill, and rotated through cell phone providers for that reason. That's what I often find when someone is hopping around like that. If I wanted to hide my shenanigans, I do believe I'd use a new name with ea. new phone service provider. But, who knows?

Has anyone gone through the Wall of Hope, Search, Vigil pictures, to see if DAD may be in any of them?

The geography and certain other elements (like landscaper, teacher, Thailand, timing of psychosis/injury etc.) lead to a little bit of speculation for me.

There are lots of pictures of the Roluf Pumpkin Patch Day for Kyron on the Kyron FB Group, and I didn't see any of him.

DAD was also heavily involved with Sauvie Island Volunteer Firefighting, so he would have had access to things, and there wouldn't have been any suspicion cast upon him for being involved in the searches, kwim?

I agree and perhaps someone should open a separate Kyron/DD connection thread, if they feel there is one, I don't want the search thread to get closed down, in case they continue the search this weekend.
PS-just a suggestion...
