I STILL cannot get past the fact that not only did Baez try to school HHJP today (I mean, seriously, who tells the JUDGE what to do?), he complained about the STATE taking two years on the diary. I am still floored by those two things. The irony from those two could knock you unconscious.

You just can't make this stuff UP!

Kathy Reichs was busy on January 12 shooting a Promo for Via Rail in Montreal and final edit on the next Virals books...and she was going to the Lab aka Laboratoire de Sciences Judiciaires et de Medecine Legale in Montreal.

Well Darn, I could have asked her for the reports! ZOOT!

Yes, Baez was really worried about the dairy. I think that may have been why Cindy was there also - because she may have known it would come up. I have said it before, (several threads ago) and will say again that Cindy also wrote in that dairy in the part where the neatest writing is. I think that much will be found out as well as the ink date results on that part. All MOO.

I don't think the pen that wrote '03 and the text on that page match. To me '03 looks like a marker and the text a ball point pen. jmo

The lady on CA's right side was her faithful companion - I don't know her name. I know the lady on the left seemed to be an atty because the guards in the courtroom and people in the elevator knew her.
CA appeared to be somber and nervous. She didn't have much facial expression and played with her hands quite a bit.

It is interesting because the camera was on CA and her friend for about 15 minutes before the hearing started and they were laughing and chatting the whole time. Maybe it has to do with the LB case - maybe it is CA who is having the polygraph - now that would be something to see!

I think Donna is the church lady's name. Someone said that attorney person, the woman with the glasses, was stroking her hair like Casey. She better watch out or Cindy will make her a replacement for Casey!

Wasn't that her neighbor Holly? The friend not the attorney? The video I was watching didn't show CA at all during the hearing that I saw. Darned - missed all of that.

I got the impression that the Judge said he would call the Lab himself, because Baez had Michelle M call and they got an answer that the Lab said they would need a minimum of 10 weeks and could not give a specific date when it would be done, and the Judge wanted a specific date NOW. Ashton said it has already been 8 weeks (since the evidence was submitted to the Lab on Dec 3, 2010), so it should be done in two more weeks.

Yes, at the very last couple of seconds of the hearing HHJP asked JB for the full name and number because he said he was going to call them himself. :great: Gotta love that judge.

After the hearing, KB followed the defense out into the hallway. From inside the courtroom you could hear CM yelling John Allen! Get these people away from me. So the rest of the audience goes into the hallway to see what the commotion is all about. KB is asking questions of the defense regarding false statements to the court and CM is bumping her post-bunionectomy-shoe walker with his brief case. He calls her an a$$hole and gets on the elevator. She follows him and a deputy comes between them and indicates that she must get off the elevator.
Sgt Allen and another deputy are sitting in the front row behind the prosecution during the hearing. They wouldn't tell KB what they were there for. After the hearing JB and CM come up to them and talk. I think I heard that they promised to get some papers to them. I heard the word polygraph, but I don't know the context nor do I know who said that. The defense left the building without an escort of any kind. Sgt Allen and his co-worker left with the prosecution.

That Mason is something. He acts like such an ole boy in the courtroom, with his genteel accents and gestures. Let him loose on a female reporter with an injury and he's on her like a sumo wrestler.

Cannot believe his name calling like that. Wow.


I guess the ole boy stuff is for the courtroom and the cameras, eh?

JB wants 30 days to object to HHJP's choice of venue. Can't he do his homework and research all the demographically similar choices HHJP might have and decide ahead of time what would be suitable and why?

This guy just wants to delay for no apparent reason at all. He isn't even an embarrassment to the legal profession - his level of unprofessionalism, lack of basic organizational skills, absurd excuses and lack of initiative would probably get him fired from Burger King.
