I am still confused as to why Spitz's medical issue, er, chicken bone, is so top secret in JB's mind? Who cares? Is he facing ridicule for having a medical situation now that its out? Does his medical condition mean he is rendered incapable or less qualified? Why all the secrecy on JB's part about this? Who cares?

The audio problems aren't as noticeable but, half way through it automatically cuts off, and I need to restart (although you can push the button forward to where you last were)

Just a tad frustrating, but well worth watching the smackdown a second time

I came in from the barn just long enough to watch the hearing this afternoon. Went back as soon as it ended to find these cuties . Momma looked as shocked as I was.
A girl ,Perry and a boy,Belvin : ) I expect awesome things from them!

It is amusing to me that Baez bragged about using his own money to go to the conference (Feb 21-26) to meet with the Defense Experts, and he has most likely already paid for his registration for the conference ..... but the Judge did NOT allow him an extension of time on the Expert's reports, who Baez had hoped to meet at this conference which he has already paid for, and probably already booked a hotel room! Baez already put in a Notice of Unavailability for Feb 21-25th!

or more likely is ignoring it hoping HHJP hasn't seen or heard of the other motion - because JB doesn't have Plan B in place yet.

I was actually expecting HHJP to ask that question - what will you do if Dr. Spitz is not available at all before the trial date?

That Mason is something. He acts like such an ole boy in the courtroom, with his genteel accents and gestures. Let him loose on a female reporter with an injury and he's on her like a sumo wrestler.

Cannot believe his name calling like that. Wow.

After the hearing, KB followed the defense out into the hallway. From inside the courtroom you could hear CM yelling John Allen! Get these people away from me. So the rest of the audience goes into the hallway to see what the commotion is all about. KB is asking questions of the defense regarding false statements to the court and CM is bumping her post-bunionectomy-shoe walker with his brief case. He calls her an a$$hole and gets on the elevator. She follows him and a deputy comes between them and indicates that she must get off the elevator.
Sgt Allen and another deputy are sitting in the front row behind the prosecution during the hearing. They wouldn't tell KB what they were there for. After the hearing JB and CM come up to them and talk. I think I heard that they promised to get some papers to them. I heard the word polygraph, but I don't know the context nor do I know who said that. The defense left the building without an escort of any kind. Sgt Allen and his co-worker left with the prosecution.

Andrea Lyons elbowed KB by the elevator after one hearing, KB warned her that was an assault which made AL move away pretty quickly, now CB is hitting her post-bunionectomy shoe? She should charge him with assault- what is wrong with these ignorant arrogant Attorneys. They get vicious when thwarted, don't they?

I thought HiPPA pertained only to medical privacy within the medical setting.

I think it was all about JB having 'control' over some info (sound like ICA?) and he was going over-board in protecting his 'secret'. I know something you don't, nyah, nyah, nyah.

He jabbed at JA for revealing it was a 'medical condition'. Strange? I personally thought that it was politically correct to term it in that way, being honest but not revealing the condition. I can understand that, to not reveal the details. JB wanted it totally 'confidential'. Needless secrecy.

I think HHJP agreed with JA because he mentioned it as the 'medical condition' at least 3 times afterwards.

I was hoping the judge would pull up a file and find when Dr Spitz had become ill, and ask. How come you hadn't asked him before?
The original date was November for expert witness reports.
