This is classic signs of someone in an abused relationship. Threatened and scared to leave.

I have been in a abusive marriage and had my jaw broke and many other bones. But if one of my children went missing and my partner was the last person to see the child i would NOT remain in contact with him or want to be in a relationship with him and nor would i make up differing stories to help the suspect in the case. Whilst many women may take the abuse because there used to it and to a degree accept it because there used to it..when it comes to there kids its a different kettle of fish and for the record i do not believe shes scared of Shawn or being abused of him.
