I DO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY DOES SHE FEEL THE NEED TO ALWAYS LET US KNOW THIS?

AND SHE DOES!!!!! SHE DOES NOT HAVE TO SAY IT..HER EVERY MOVE SHOWS HOW MUCH SHE IS IN LOVE WITH HIM!!!!!!!!!

WHY DOES SHE THINK WE CARE??

I AM DISGUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

* sorry:blushing:..I'll hush now and go back to quietly reading you guys giving updates for those who weren't able to hear it for ourselves.. :thank you:

Valentine's Day is just around the corner.

I don't understand why she signed papers for DD to stay with his uncle? What kind of papers? That doesn't jive for me. There's something else, but we're not going to hear it.

Sounds like she signed over guardianship to her brother to prevent CPS from stepping in and making him a ward of the State.

My sister did this for her grandchild so the State wouldn't have to be involved. They take it very seriously, as their daughter had a drug abuse problem. She went to rehab a couple times, and finally got clean, and now has her daughter back, but my sister retained guardianship just in case she backslides. If she does, they will step in and take the grandbaby away from her.

Imo, it's better than having the State involved, but only if the family holds the parent of the child accountable.

I dont know why it shocked me but it did. Billie Dunn said in front of God and everybody that she loves Shawn and will do anything to help him. She loves the suspect in her child's disappearance. I don't get it.

Different state here, but in the same/similar circumstances in my state DSS (as it's called) would maintain control once they got involved (no matter HOW they got involved)..which would mean that it would be the State that decided when and under what conditions DD could go home, at the very least..No way they would allow it either.. if a suspect is coming and going out of that house. Here it would just mean that since a family member is always preferred over foster care, they would work with Billie to place DD.. and legal papers would be signed..it just wouldn't have to go through the court or before a judge I should say. Not really a mutual agreement, because I don't believe they gave her a choice of whether or not to send him away..just a choice in where he went..MOO tho...

okokokok
This MM - Hailey told BD something about this guy and BD called CPS on this guy - there's you're "he felt wronged" by Hailey and me

Why would she call CPS instead of LE,
unless it was CD?

ETA; or someone who has children also.

Totally agree Pondering.
CPS said they could not make an official statement.
Billie said they interviewed DD and it was her choice to let him go.
PK said CPS was involved in the transfer of DD to his uncle.

She may have agreed, but she is not in control.
She agreed to let it happen versus going to court.
I would like to think she avoided that step for his well being.
But at the end of the day it doesn't matter what her motive was he is out of there.

Which with her doing the Cumming's stand by your lover who last saw your kid and can't pass a polygraph routine it is definitely better that someone else is looking out for him.

ITA! I sure wish we would hear more about how she couldn't wait until HE got home, don't you? It bothers me to no end that the fact that CPS will not let him come home until SA is cleared or out of the picture..(imo anyway)....and with Hailey gone..I just can't understand why she isn't clinging to her other child..

Hasn't she already had enough air time to tell this same story?

Every time she does this, she is reading it, so she comes prepared.
Therefore, what she leaves out each time, and one from another, and what she puts in, tells LE and the rest of us what is important to focus on, and anything that is consistent is likely unimportant to what really happened.
Since her and SA aren't talking to LE, this is a very good thing. I hope she does it another ten times.
Jmo, oc.

I'm with you Willen. She is extremely immature when it comes to men, IMO. It's just so sad I can't believe it.

I respectfully disagree with you, neighbor...

And we all know last Valentine's Day was a real hoot over there.
This year could be just as explosive.

Oh PLEASE NO..The scary part is that if it could be done legally (which apparently it can't at this point in time) I really WOULD NOT be shocked..:banghead:

Now wait a minute. Didn't Billie say first in that interview that she and Clint still love one another? Then later on she says that she loves Shawn? And she wonders why we can't understand half of what she says.......always contradicting herself.

Exactly, my guess based on the pieces we can see and the already mentioned drug reference associated with POI-as-defined-by-the-family is that we have a drug deal gone bad (or some equally trashy, drug addict, family drama). Someone got mad and called CPS on the missing family member, missing family member flips out and threatens BD for doing so.

And voila, we have a handy dandy suspect.
Forget about all the evidence that points to Shawn.
Ignore the fact that said family member has not been in contact in months and was not seen in the area. He swooped in as HD walked two blocks, after she lied to SA about where she was going, and SA had quit his job but told no one. Neat tidy little bow, now we just have to find him.

At least Cousin Joe was there that weekend.
When the Cummings plot line makes more sense than yours you do not have a good starting point.

IMO, I don't think this was about SA. SA was already out of the house and at the time BD was not saying she wanted him back, at least not publically. I really think this has to do with BD and her bad parenting decisions and that it was before LE "cleared" her.

yep..she just covers it all and that way she feels she is always covering her azz as well IMHO...

I think this is the second time I've heard her emphasize that " NO COURTS were involved or anything."

But that is just one more example of the way she downplays and camoflauges everything. Of course there are 'courts involved', she just did not have to step foot in one because she agreed to do what they instructed her to. As much as she would like us to believe otherwise, she had no choice.

Possibly..I still feel (JMO) that since LE wasn't/isn't sure who all was involved from the get go..CPS was brought in very early on. Just speculation on my part though...

Exactly..just because she didn't have to go the *typical* CPS route, complete with court date and all...She throws out the 'no court' thing..IMO, they let her know she could help place him where she preferred or they would..
