She lost me when she said something about this "mess" in reference to her daughter being gone.

And listening to Billie in all of her interviews, on the 911 tape etc...she does not sound at all like a woman who is the least bit intimidated by SA or anyone else.

She has a way with words. A "mess?" Seriously? This is about your missing daughter!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In response to why BD believes SA couldn't hurt anyone:

BD: "He's gentle."

MmmHmm.

Because gentle people threaten to murder those they claim to love. NOT.

Yeah he's gentle...I spent some time in his Michael Meyer room today looking for his posts also looked up those lyrics he's so proud of on his myspace page.

It was so bad I was afraid to listen to it....but I will

Got a little confused reading the comments at first about MM. We've got 2 in this case. Michael Myers and Mystery Man. Both fiction in terms of being suspects in the disappearance of Hailey Dunn, imo..

Yep, I am no expert, but I have experience with (I will use the term) battered women & she doesn't fit it from my experience. She may have had a hard life growing up, but she is a survivor & not a victim under SA...imo.

Kimster, We can't start a thread about the couch now that it's been mentioned by Billie, right? Assuming it still has to remain in the basement cuz this show isn't considered MSM, but just checking... TIA...

If she's not a runaway and she's promoting the concept that she was hanging with MB and another teenager that night...what is she tying to imply?

I figure she's propagating stranger abduction....you know that type of thing where they just never find a body?

BD: "If you left on your own, if there's a problem, we can fix it."

I thought she just said she didn't feel like she left on her own.

Please do not apply logic to this situation I could slip over the edge and start ordering masks...just sayin':innocent:

I guess it is a good thing that family trees have a fork in them.IMO

I went searching for silver nitrate info. There are varying solutions of silver nitrate sticks that are sold over-the-counter. Hospitals/ERs utilize the 1% solution. On Amazon, the over-the-counter solution’s percentage is not listed, but it is probable that it is a lower percentage than the !% solution sticks.

The grey stain from the quick touch of a silver nitrate stick will disappear when the skin sloughs off its outer layer in approx. one week. If the son’s tattoo remained after this time, the silver nitrate application was probably applied more than once which caused severe localized inflammation resulting in cell death (forming the tattoo).

and when you put it in the context of SA will be back and is only gone because of this "mess" ,it makes the comment 100X worse IMO

Thanks for the info! I wish there had been a follow up question about what reason on earth she would have to bring them home if not to supervise or inflict the branding of her son...

sorry...didn't even think of that. We may need to rename the mystery man. I'll just refer to him as the invisible man from now on...

I am listening to the show again......

I just heard BD say that they brought the tracking dogs out on NYE......

My thought....could one of the dog handler's have been witness to the NYE shindig and that's where LE got the info for the affidavit?

Well of course I feel bad for Haily too but I feel bad listening to Billie talk. I feel bad for her that her daughter is missing.

Willen, I don't think for a sec that anyone thought you didn't feel bad for Hailey~~~:innocent:

ITA, Mia.

I've just been making note of the ongoing discrepancies that have been uttered by BD in her interviews.

IMO, she has at times stated one thing and then has contradicted herself in the very next breath, as has been illustrated in this latest interview.

"Everyday they don't find something is good for me."

Yeah, I bet it is!

.....a "borrowed" silver nitrate package of sticks. These are not available/ not for sale.

You can buy them on amazon
