That reminds me of Robert Manwill's mother. Remember at his funeral everyone was telling these heartfelt tales about Robert? His mom got up and basically said "We went to the beach, you pooped in your pants, it was funny, the end."

Suzi, I was thinking the same thing!

Hailey was clumsy and we had issues over her hormones? I paid her five bucks to throw grasshoppers on Shawn? Wow.

I thought she was doing this show to talk about HAILEY? I got more information from Clint about his daughter in five minutes on the Bring Them Home Show than I have gotten from the sum total of all of Billie's appearances.

"I need MY daughter back in MY house." "Our lives have been torn apart."

I keep hoping that I'll hear some genuine, caring, selfless, motherly words to Hailey, but all I hear is "Hey, come on home if you're out there, 'cause I need you back." :furious:

I am sure this has already been answered....why would you pay someone $5 to throw a grasshopper on someone?? Is it me, or is that just plain odd??

I envision putting him in a padded room with a gazillion grasshoppers and a chain saw.....the sound of the chain saw would drive them nuts. :innocent:

IIRC, BD (on her week + run on NG) was saying Vernon was the neighbor that saw HD talking on the phone in the backyard, and he had subsequently moved out. At least that is where I remember it from. HTH

Hi BeanE - Hope I get this link posted right. Beginning with post 97 on page 4 of this thread, several posters who were live blogging the interview have BD saying that "Vernon and Dennis" saw HD on the phone at noon on Monday.

So Vernon comes from BD. Be sure not to confuse him with Travis, Dennis, or Charles. Or the MM.

I need a drink, trying to keep these names straight. It has to be 5:00 somewhere.

Why do I feel like I listening to the timeline of 18 years old not a 13 years old!

How do you not know where your 13 years old every second!

:banghead:

Amen Sister! I know where my 13 year old is every second of every day, always. But that's just how I roll. :floorlaugh:

I'm so confused. I don't see a Vernon in that article?

I know. That is the confusing part because I thought this is the incident she was referring to on the show last night. Maybe she doesn't know the name of her neighbor? This was the only noon sighting that I knew about. So where Vernon is coming from I do not know. :banghead:

I'll have to go back and double check when I have time, but As I recall, originally, in one interview, BD gives the name "Charles" for the neighbor who saw HD on the phone. Later,on one of the NG shows, I believe, she said his name was Dennis. Now last night, it suddenly becomes "Vernon and Dennis".

Further, the owner of Dennis' home is a man named Travis. Not Vernon.

Clear as mud. :pullhair:

Geez, Billie says she didn't know about the balloon release and doesn't get on the internet so she couldn't find out that way (thanks for that spoon feed, Bee ).

Does she not realize we know she has friends that read here, there, and everywhere on the net and fill her in on every detail? Give me a freakin' break!

If the organizers were unable to give a date at the time (to make a note of), if so concerned about not missing it, she could very well have called SA and ask him to check on the puter!!!!!!! Good grief!

Me too MANDY.....me too. I think that is a huge clue right there.

Could he have been the one to give her the couch and move the old one out?

Well of course I feel bad for Haily too but I feel bad listening to Billie talk. I feel bad for her that her daughter is missing.

I used to. I really did. Now I just feel like she's far too much responsible for her child being gone either directly, or through inaction.

I feel bad for Hailey, for DD, for CD, for all the extended innocent family members who are left hurting, but most of all for Hailey.

BD? Well I feel like she made her bed, and Hailey is laying in it. Poor sweet girl.

Perhaps Vernon is the neighbour who was in that video snip who claimed that he has seen HD in the backyard in the past? The one who didn't show his face on camera? And please don't ask me to find that video clip because it's buried somewhere in those 57 threads.

Wow. So Hailey being missing is a mess, silver nitrate sticks are playtoys, had to be reminded about a balloon drop for her missing daughter (what. the. f!?!?!?!?!), no emotion at the song about Hailey, more gushing about SA (just kill me now), man is she going to have a lot to be held against her in a court of law. Keep talkin' BD. You're just digging your grave that much deeper.

Now, maybe she didn't mean it how it sounded, or wasn't thinking when she spoke, but I know how it sounded, and I'm thinking a LOT of Freudian slippage is going on here.

And I hope that hospital she worked at it has checked it stocks. I didn't think it was easy to walk off with stuff like that anyway. Wouldn't it be locked up and wouldn't she have to sign in and out for it? I doubt it's left out like candy.

ITA - and don't forget her order of "familial priority" - Number one my kids come first; then my brothers come second and SA is third.

Very very interesting sentence.

And when I said held against her in a court of law, I was thinking as SA's accomplice. I don't think she did this, but I do think she's covering like mad for SA. It's beyond disgusting how far she's going with it too. I wonder if this Valentine's Day will make the news.

I DO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY DOES SHE FEEL THE NEED TO ALWAYS LET US KNOW THIS?

AND SHE DOES!!!!! SHE DOES NOT HAVE TO SAY IT..HER EVERY MOVE SHOWS HOW MUCH SHE IS IN LOVE WITH HIM!!!!!!!!!

WHY DOES SHE THINK WE CARE??

I AM DISGUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

* sorry:blushing:..I'll hush now and go back to quietly reading you guys giving updates for those who weren't able to hear it for ourselves.. :thank you:
ITA agree with you... and you said it so well I go back to lurking... I am too disgusted to trust myself to say anything else

Me too...lurking is safest for me,lol.:banghead:

any probs with Hailey and Shawn?

Billie: Not any more.

Probably the only statement I believe. This exchange is spot on. Not any more.

I hope this is the last time I hear about Hailey's "hormones" from her supportive mother. We know H is 13 yrs old. She does not appear to be overtly sexual, a wild child, etc. Both parents implied that H does not have issues with promiscuity, drugs, etc. Why the need for mom to emphasize her beautiful daughter's moodiness, prone to argumentativeness, etc. in the midst of her disappearance? I believe this is the second time she has reminded us of her daughter's "hormones."

Stop the drama and stop planting seeds of a volatile, moody, sassy, hormonally-driven teenage daughter! It's disturbing. All, IMO.
