I sometimes wish there was a way for WS members to occasionally hide their identity by posting anonymously. This is one of those times.
I have known three men in my life who expressed an interest in bestiality. The whole idea creeps me out, and considering that it is illegal, it would seem the majority of people agree with me.
The first of these men was a coworker. He shared a disk of images with a couple of coworkers, one of whom had held onto it because it creeped HER out too. He started trying to date me, but there was just no way. At the time, my daughter was 7, and the idea of leaving her alone with him gave me the willies (he offered to watch her so I could take a class one night a week). One day I found a message on my home answering machine from his live-in girlfriend (who knew?) asking if I knew about his child-

website, and that the State's Attorney for St. Mary's County was investigating him.
I called the State's Attorney's office to verify (I thought she might think I was interested in him and made it up) and they did not answer directly, but let me know it was true. I was completely freaked out and that's when I learned for the first time about the disk. I never looked at the contents, but she told me there were 3 child-

images on it as well. I asked him directly and he told me that he had viewed child

for "research purposes" because he had 3 daughters living with an ex-wife in another state and wanted to know what was out there.
I asked if he'd ONLY looked at images involving girl children and he said yes in a way that made me know it was NOT "just research." I felt sort of sick, having just learned all of this stuff about this guy who had been coming on to me for months, and asked him why he'd save images to a disk if it was just research. Somehow this led to him telling me he had several THOUSAND images of child

featuring little girls. I knew that HIS daughters were due to come for a 2-week visit, so I immediately called the Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the FBI. Like Billie, at the time I looked MUCH younger than I was, and was carded whenever I purchased alcohol, etc. and it upset me to think that might have been the reason he was interested in me.
I was interviewed by the FBI. They took my answering machine and my laptop (GFs message and he'd once used my laptop) and went away. I never heard a word from them after that, and never got my electronics back. I assumed he'd never been prosecuted. A few weeks ago I looked him up on the federal RSO website, and found he had served 5 years and was registered. He must have pled out, and my laptop just never got returned.
Second guy was a similar deal. He WAS someone I dated, and when I found out about the bestiality, it killed the relationship. 5 years later HE was convicted of child molestation, and sentenced to 15 years in prison (after 45 years were suspended).
The third guy, also someone I dated, introduced me to

. Not my thing, as it turns out. But once it was introduced, he was "hooked" (I think he just brought his existing addiction out into the open and he'd been into it all along). After a bit, he starting shifting to bestiality, first "by accident" and then "out of curiosity". Then he told me he'd dated a girl once who was very into it, and that HE was now very into it as a result. He asked me to do some things I found distasteful and degrading, and he would not let it go. That was the end of the relationship.
To date, I know of no child

or molestation convictions, although he'd dated an 18 year old while in his late 40s, but 2 out of 3 guys I knew who were interested in bestiality ALSO were into kids.
Just my experience.
Definitely a deal-killer.
