One of the local said she saw sparks coming off of a train going through and it was just leaving a trail of fire. We used to live close to some tracks and that would happen a lot.

That is true. I totally forgot about that as a cause. I am leaning toward this being a coincidence. There is the possibility of remains being revealed or destroyed. *sigh*

BD's isn't really too far from the Days Inn, iirc.

There are just too many burning over too wide of an area for me to believe it was deliberate. The fire danger warnings have been going out all weekend, and with the high winds.......this is what happens.

Praying for the locals.

Those must be some kind of friends to set an entire town or two on fire. Jeebus. I can't imagine any of my friends would be willing to do that for me, not even my husband!

POI's/friends of Shawn's, one in the same. They helped him commit or cover up disappearing Hailey.

Never mind, I'm tired tonight.

Go here:

http://www.weather.gov/

And click on any part of west Texas and you will see all of the fire warnings.

Does anyone know if I-20 is elevated near the Days Inn?

eta: If it's not it will provide a fire break before heading into town.

Are there fires also there, or these fires spread into texas? I don't even know where Big Spring is, is it near New Mexico?

Well, Big Spring is considered West Texas, which runs into S. NM; fires down there have been burning for a few days already...

Sunday, 8:25 p.m. Update:
Bigcountryhomepage.com crews on the scene report the Days Inn motel in Colorado City is now on fire.

Is this the hotel where they searched for Hailey?

It's practically across the street from BJD's house. Is that the motive -- burn down BJD's house - no more evidence to be collected?

1. Depart Chestnut St toward E 19th St 0.3 Mi 1 mins, 1 secs

2. Turn right onto E 22nd St 0.2 Mi 42 secs

3. Turn left onto N Austin St, and then immediately turn right onto E 23rd St 0.0 Mi 29 secs

4. Arrive at E 23rd St on the left

OMG OMG OMG!

I don't know what to do with myself. Pray I guess....pray for Hailey, Clint, N, C, and DD -- may the all be safe.

Yes, I don't think are any near us. I've smelled smoke all day but we're safe. Some family got stuck in Midland for a while but they are all home.
