2011.03.02 - 03 - George Anthony's testimony Part II

  • #61
Just watching(actually listening) the 3/2/11 hearing while I do my chores and this may be nothing but it is under my skin.

When GA is on the stand, JB says, "I assume July 15th, 2008 was one of the most traumatic events of your life?"-- "Is it fair to say that?" (clearly looking for a simple yes answer) GA, instead of the old tried and true Anthony favorite of "absolutely"....GA beats around the bush with an "It's the most traumatic thing that could happen to a family" -then adds the "yes" on the end of that. Hmmmm.....weird way of answering what would seem to me to be a certain "YES!" KWIM??? Could GA be thinking back to some other incident BEFORE that day that sticks in his memory as being the most traumatic thing that has happened to him?? Like maybe the day he found out that his daughter had done something awful to his grandbaby?? but let her continue on her way anyway? Makes me wonder.

At the 7:28 mark.
Dang it...someone posted how to add on the min. & sec. mark so that your link would start right where you mark it to, but now I can't find that post and can't recall exactly the instructions. It was something like add on t=#?min??sec on the end of your link. Anyone remember exactly coz I'll use that. I'll also write it down next time! :)

:cow:

I copied and pasted it to a word document so I wouldn't forget it. I don't have the complete post or who posted it, so I apologize.

Add the min. and sec. to the end of the link and the video will start right at that point.

"To specify a point, append a tag to the end of your video link with the following syntax: “#t=1m45s” (you can change the numbers before the ‘m’ and ‘s’ to edit the minutes and seconds, respectively."

I would have thought that until I watched him at the hearing. But to me - it's so all about George he hates anyone who dares to disagree with him about anything.

He knows LDB is going to disagree with what he says and he is angry at her before she even opens her mouth. Then it just goes downhill.

He gives me the impression that he believes LDB does not appreciate "HIS LOSS" or "HIS GRIEF" and she should be grateful he is even brave enough to be there at all - she should be quiet and listen to him and believe him and thank him with tears in her eyes for making the ultimate sacrifice and appearing before them.

This is exactly how George came across in the depo by John Morgan. He knew that JM was going to ask him questions that disagreed with his "truth", and George had worked himself into a state of anger. All his answers in that depo came across as pure hatred towards JM for asking the questions he didn't want to answer. He was sputtering and spitting his answers out in his state of anger. When Keith Mitnick asked him a few questions, George flew off the handle at him and accused him of making an obscene gesture, when all Mr. Mitnick was doing was pushing his glasses up.

Gosh these people infuriate me to no end! George doesn't recall at all CA wanting ICA arrested initially for the thefts of money/car etc. Truly this family is totally incapable of truth and honesty. Disgusting. Poor Caylee Baby...breaks my heart each and every day that I see more of these truly demented people that she relied on for her life.

Selective memories these people have. BS

To be fair, GA went to 'work' after he drove that car home, so he truly doesnt' know first hand what went on with CA and those calls...and how CA demanded they arrest ICA for GTA...which quickly turned into learning that Caylee hadn't been in ICA's care for the past 30 days...but he has now changed his path...he now has sights on saving ICA at any cost? I don't believe that he would allow himself to take the blame for the murder of Caylee. He tried that sympathetic suicide attempt saying he wanted to be with Caylee...She showed him unconditional love and he's now turning his back on that precious grandchild who put that sunshine back in that home...disgusting to me that they don't seek justice for this child..but, IMO they don't know how this could be so detrimental to the one he's trying to save now!

They should be perserving Caylee's memory, honoring her seeking justice...They could beg the court for mercy and take a truthful approach for once in their lives...JMHO

No kidding. That drove me absolutely crazy. So are you just everyone's tool, George, or are you mad that ultimately you aren't in charge and can't control this case to your satisfaction? It's like if he can't be one, then he has to be the other. If he's not in charge and things aren't going his way, then he must be somebody's tool. I swear, this man is the definition of hasty generalization. You've never been in charge, and this will never be your way, but that doesn't mean that you were used or can't control your own destiny. If you're a tool, you're allowing yourself to be so, George. That is your choice. You are where you are because of you and no one else no matter how much you want to blame everyone else for where you are.

He really reminds me of when I was younger, and I used to think in such extremes all of the time. Yet he is what, in his fifties? How does he live this way? I know long ago I lost the energy to think in such extremes anymore. If he keeps this up, he is surely not going to last the whole trial, maybe not even half of it.

Ah, so the master manipulated is allowing himself to be manipulated?

I can't imagine this man was former LE....everything about him goes against upholding the law...what happened to that old cliche, once a cop always a cop? He seems to have forgotten his training...JMHO

So this just occurred to me...It is George's testimony that he saw KC and Caylee leave the house together. So he places Caylee in KC's care. That is the last he saw of Caylee. Therefore, anything we have of what became of Caylee after that is what KC has stated.
So KC was definitely responsible for Caylee and whatever happened to her that day.
I know this seems so simple but I think it is a huge fact.

The good thing about that is they are all so arrogant and dumb they can't remember their lies, so constantly get tripped up in them!

They don't remember, but WS'ers do.

He goes on to accuse JA of trying to trick him. IIRC that was about him cutting the grass and he can't keep his story straight. I wouldn't talk to a prosecutor the way he did. He repeatedly went off on tangents imo that were unprovoked.

He got irate when he couldn't remember what lies he'd told previously and he thought Mitnik was toying with him.
We all remember our Mothers telling us to tell the truth, that way you don't have to remember your lies...

You're not kidding that this is O-L-D!! I don't even remember seeing this hearing... heck, I don't even remember that defense attorney who is talking at the podium. L.O.V.E. the slip of tongue when Jeff Ashton said that they weren't there for a murder case and the defense attorney says "Sure we are" and Jeff Ashton "We are??" :floorlaugh: What happened to this defense attorney... he knew this was a murder case before murder charges were filed and said it in open court. :floorlaugh: I shouldn't be laughing, but wow... just WOW!!

That goes under the heading of "You can't make this stuff up'.
This defense team.... did they all graduate from a correspondence course, at the bottom of their class?

Yes, no matter what has changed in George's stories from June 16th, 2008... one thing always remained the same. Casey Anthony left the home that day with Caylee. She was the last person (one that exists anyways) that was seen with Caylee alive. Everything that happened after leaving that home is what Casey has stated.

It is huge!
