KC is furiously writing and underlining something multiple times with lots of pen pressure.

She is just working on her appeal for ineffective assistance of counsel, she has thirty days to file it after she is convicted. She doesn't wanna go down that "30 days" road again, so she wants to get it filed on the first day. :crazy:

I am irritated at Lyons - the Baez investigator laughing and shaking his head at Melich's testimony.

Apparently he believes that ALL investigators are as shady and unethical as he is.

I hope they work out all kinks for viewing on-line prior to the trial,this going back and forth and sound problems is devastating when you are trying to view trial JMO

I think what JB was getting at was that, at the end of the hallway, when KC turned around and said she lied and didn't work there, that was when YM and Co. knew that she had committed a crime (lying to/obstructing LE) and therefore they should have Mirandized her right then and there. Instead they went in the room and engaged in more questioning. YM is saying that there was no need for Miranda, they were giving her another opportunity to explain what had happened. However, 4 of her first charges were for lying to LE, so... we shall see how the cross goes. Not wanting DT to have even a teeny little "win" but if Universal gets thrown out it's not as though the State's whole case rests on that. There's plenty of other ways to include all her lies and misdirection at trial.

Doesn't this seem like a lot of breaks? Will this happen during the trial? Couldn't the Judge have at least waited until Baez was done? Now he's gonna come back after this 10 minutes with another hour of material to throw at Yuri.

I dunno. Seemed like weird timing for a break.

Unless I am wrong there has only been a morning break, lunch break and this afternoon break... that will be the standard during the trial I am sure. Also, Baez was done, he turned the witness over to the State.
