I think what JB was getting at was that, at the end of the hallway, when KC turned around and said she lied and didn't work there, that was when YM and Co. knew that she had committed a crime (lying to/obstructing LE) and therefore they should have Mirandized her right then and there. Instead they went in the room and engaged in more questioning. YM is saying that there was no need for Miranda, they were giving her another opportunity to explain what had happened. However, 4 of her first charges were for lying to LE, so... we shall see how the cross goes. Not wanting DT to have even a teeny little "win" but if Universal gets thrown out it's not as though the State's whole case rests on that. There's plenty of other ways to include all her lies and misdirection at trial.
