I just watched casey being "escorted" out of the courtroom. Before that she just stood at the table b/w JB and CM waiting for them to talk to her and avoiding CA and GA altogether! And why oh why does she get to leave the room w/o being handcuffed or shackled in any way? She even gets to open the door and walk out first! I can't stand it!

I think so too, and if they do, it will be because Baez was critically ineffective. He objected to the picture because she was smiling and could have been told a joke just prior. As far as picture #2 (with the visitor badge), he objected, but I didn't hear what his reasoning was beyond that. Maybe ICA didn't like that shot of her - who knows.

Anyway, I'm 60/40 on the evidence being allowed in. (60 for).

What a draining day. Don't know how I'll last through the trial. Baez has cemented his incompetence in granite. This was just beyond the pale today. Wonder when Perry will rule - and will Cindy, after her LIES today be made a hostile witness in the future?

I can't believe the defense.........they are spinning this into a LE F-up case just like OJ's case...........I'm gonna have a freaking mental breakdown over this case........I can feel it coming!!!!!!!

I was just having the same thought....but then again the defense doesn't have a lot of options with all the state has.

wow people. that was something. im convinced we have nothing to worry about. ldb an the sao is in control and so very good at what they do. there is no smoke and mirrors just the facts and the truth. cant hide from the truth no matter how hard u try. ot but anyone notice the nice red pen she was writing with. i wonder if they came from joses office. just an observation.

As an aside, Fox cam is acting very whacky today. First the Minnie Mouse version of Cindy's and George's testimony overlapped the current stream, then the livedcast went to traffic overviews, and now the feed went bonkers at the sidebar by changing the audio to a newscaster's summary. At this moment, Fox cam is looking at the exterior of the courthouse: NO LIP READING ALLOWED! :crazy:

LOL Now somebody is saying in a rap voice "Yo check check yo!" lol

I tried going back and forth between WKMG and WFTV but they were both hopeless, kept having to refresh and wait - - - wait for it to come back up.
they changed something recently, I never used to have this problem, now it's a pain.

Yes, funny strange isn't it? Her look is almost full circle except now she looks really unwell. I guess even with lots of drugs to assist, it is still very difficult.
Wish she would just face up to it and move into acceptance....

that smiling pic says it all to me. she was posing and smiling for the camera during all of this. doesnt seem to me she was scared at all of them or worried she was going to get arrested. remember arrested on a f@@@@**!!! whim??

Gotta say, I've seen that picture countless times and I never, ever, ever put it together that it was taken after she had been found out that Caylee was missing. That honestly scares me, that she looks so...happy.

So Baez, in summary, was attacking the detective for trying to trick Casey into thinking she was not under arrest. But according to Baez, Casey SHOULD have been under arrest because her Dad told him about the stink of death in the car trunk, and because she obviously lied about the existence of a nanny, SO LE was wrong for not mirandizing her sooner?

OK. Does that mean they can npw introduce the smell in the trunk, and the defense cannot berate them for jumping on her so early as a suspect?

DID BAEZ JUST HELP THE STATE MORE THAN HE HELPED CASEY?
