Uhm, the date right now is July 16th 2008, its about 1320 hours. We're at Universal Studios I'm here with Sgt. Allen um, I'm here with Detective Appie Wells um, also here with Casey Anthony.
Q: And Casey, we talked early this morning and we're working a case looking for your daughter, is that correct?
CA: Yes
Q: Okay. We came to Universal Studios we're sitting in a little conference room. Obviously the door is unlocked. We just closed it so we can have a little privacy and talk to you.
CA: Uh-huh(affirmative)

Q: Like he said you, you seem like a pretty bright person okay. You're here willingly, right?
CA: Oh absolutely.
Q: Your whole reason for talking to us is, is to try to help, right?
CA: Uh-huh(affirmative)
Q: Nobody's forced you to talk to us, right?
CA: No.
Q: You, you want us, you want us to...you're here because you called, you want us to help find your daughter, right?
CA: Uh-huh(affirmative)

Earlier on tru tv they were saying the defense seemed confidant and pleased with how things were going so far. That drastically changed when YM took the stand imo. I believe Sgt. Allan will also be a power house witness.

But couldn't LA have watched the hearing on TV or internet just as we did? So he conceivably could have watched his parents testify. Just wondering why either side would take that risk.

I have to correct my statement--apparently I waited too long to edit my post. When I wrote this, I was unaware that LA was sitting in the hall outside the courtroom all day long in case he was called to testify. This is as per Amil's post #1167 on page 47 of this thread.

I agree, I don't think they could have hand picked any better detectives, had they tried.

So, here's what I saw... before the hearing the OCSO witnesses, Universal Studios witness and the detectives were in the hallway outside the hearings room when Michelle M. came out and wanted their contact info in case they were dismissed today and needed tomorrow. She began with "last name?" she even said that to John Allen and Yuri!!!! So the witnesses were still standing around when C.Mason got off the elevator and headed toward the hearings room and off-handedly says something cute like - didn't expect a welcoming committee or glad you could be here. When he's entered the hearings room, John Allen says "who was he?" I swear we know more than all them together!! Bob Keeling and Jim L came in together. The witness from Universal Studios made a joke about how well they're doing with the Harry Potter ride and someone suggests a backlot tour showing the "hallway" and gate she came through. (yeah!!) Lee, GA and CA came in together with CA's BFF and the Anthony's attorney. Lee was wearing jeans and a wrinkled untucked shirt. Shortly after the hearing began they all had to go out in the hallway and wait until they'd testified. Lee sat there all day and never got called as well as most of the OCSO witnesses and the guy from Universal. Lee did not appear to have an attorney. I wonder who the fellow was that sat in front of the Anthonys and spoke to them frequently. Someone told me that it was Jeremy Lyons but I thought Jeremy was a black man. (?) Holly Bristow was not present today. CA was wearing a huge diamond looking ring on her right hand. She appeared to have her wedding rings on. She often rubbed GA's back during testimony of the other witnesses. GA has hair loss. His scalp is visible under his hair and this appears to be a new thing. The Anthony's atty was texting on his phone while CA was testifying. Later he got out his IPad and was clicking away during testimony. When CA finished testifying at the recess they did not make eye contact. KC was writing and CA briefly looked her way. When CA was completely finished testifying they did make eye contact and CA mouthed I love you to her. Dorothy Sims sat with KC during the recess in the morning. When Baez came back, he sat with KC and she was making flirty eyes while talking to him. KC watched GA walk to the stand but neither of them looked at each other during or after his testimony. More tomorrow.

Thanks Amil!!! Just one question I keep hearing about an outburst in the courtroom when YM was testifying..I was watching but this occurred during one of the black outs...can you please (pretty please with sugar on top) tell us what happen? TIA!!!:rocker:

Agree!! Call George up! Having "studied" George for two years plus, I'm not certain you can take what Yuri read from the interview as being exactly what George said to him the night they were called out. George has a way of bringing things to the present, so him saying "I believe there is something in that car. I hate to say human," does not necessarily reflect what he actually said to Yuri that night. I hope this makes sense.

It makes perfect sense and just because George says Yuri called him and told him ICA might not be coming home does not mean Yuri said that - Yuri does not recall making that statement and he sounds to me like the kind of guy who would man up and admit it if he did, unlike George who would not man up and admit maybe he imagined it.

I just had to come out of lurking to post tonight.

I just had to say that I was totally dumbfounded by JB's performance today. If I had not followed this case from "day 31" and was tuning in to this hearing as someone who didn't know better, I really would have thought that JB was a prosecution attorney today.

He held his own client up as the absolute liar that she is for all to see. Then continued to hammer home that point nail by nail by nail. IMO his real agenda was completely buried in the avalanche. I know after all this time I really shouldn't be surprised at his ineptness, but i am truly gobsmacked!!!

There was a tape recording of Yuri talking to ICA in the bedroom and his voice was not as CA stated as become more intimadating. Is this not a LIE and can she not be charged on that alone?

Hahahaha - but did you see CA's face when LDB told her that conversation has been recorded and CA very obviously did not know that before that second - it was priceless!!!

14.12 in the CA testimony about ICA handcuffed and being removed from home. Claims if she could consult her notes at home she might be able to pinpoint more specific timeline.

MY question: Where the hell did she think she was going this morning and what did she think she was being asked to testify about????
