I think that Baez had to go out on a limb and FLY SOLO today. I don't think he had ANY help whatsoever with his questions or directions he should be taking.

He virtually incomprehensible. And he doesn't even have the good sense to be embarrassed for himself...

When JB objects he doesn't even say why. He pauses to think of a reason.

Yesterday, I thought KC's mad scribbling was just a means to avoid eye contact with her parents.

Today, with KC continuing to take notes, I think she seriously thinks she's part of the defense team, and not the murder defendant.

LDB is slowly walking the Sarg through the events of the evening, discussing the full events of the night - JB keeps objecting - what does this have to do with it. Overruled - one sustained.

I am getting the feeling this evidence won't be admitted. It seems like someone screwed up big time and just like the OJ trail, good evidence is going to be thrown out. I honestly feel like the judge can't accept this evidence. I just wish these detectives would answer the questions honesty. I feel like that is the best way to get it admitted.

JB doesn't even respect the court enough to stand when he's objecting. *sigh*

Because he'd have to haul his <Pooh-sized-unusual-person posterior> out of his chair.

:truce:

Naah...his Colleague Casey is right beside him!

He doesn't have time, he is too busy.

Well, you know, all that standing up and sitting down would be too much exercise for him. He wouldn't last thirty minutes.

OK

1) Not EVERYONE who is handcuffed ultimately gets arrested!!!!

2) How is a police sargeant responsible for a "speedy trial".

3) Baez, don't you dare accuse ANYONE else of slowing down this trial. The state was ready over 2 years ago, you <unusual person>!!!

I agree...one might be placed in handcuffs for the officers protection until he can figure out what is going on...I wish the officers would stand up for themselves and say this. I'm find myself screaming at the computer screen wanting them soooo to say it...

LOLOLOLOLOL Isnt it Hosey...? And I do see a Slight lightening of the skin around his ring finger. There might be an EX Mrs Hosey. MOO!

When I followed the Gary Michael Hilton murder case someone mentioned that LEO sometimes opt to remove their wedding ring during testimony becasue the ring reminds folks of handcuffs.

I think it would in a jury trial but perhaps a hearing too.

Just sharing what I was told.

ITA. It's just another skin she pulls on - nothing going on there but here and now....

Unlike YM who has lived an breathed this case for three (three, not two George) years, this was one night three years ago. Of course he will have trouble remembering

I imagine this Sgt. is good at his job, he is just is awful on the stand. LDB doing a good job on trying to get the record straight...

Heehee

"Objection Judge! Ummmm, hmmmm, because I don't like it!"

WOW...KC told the officer that GA and CA wanted to take Caylee away from her. HOLY CHIT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • #298
Aha! Casey told the deputy her parents possibly wanted to "take the child away."

  • #299
ICA passing notes to JB. I see she's finally taken GA up on that job offer as head of her corporation!

Once again, Cindy mentions to LE that the real issue is that Caylee is missing. Casey tells Detective (away from Cindy), no worries, my daughter is just fine.
