Seriously this has nothing to to with that. This line of questioning has to do with JB trying to show that the state was trying to circumvent his ability to protect his client's rights to not answer state questions without counsel present (or not at all), b y getting her family to do their bidding. these are very good defense tactics. I hope they fail but I am starting to get a bit worried. Despite JB's bumblings and lack of professionalism, these are great tactics and may work.

Yes I started getting worried yesterday. I really hope it doesnt work but I am less confident that I was yesterday morning he would fail.

This is too funny - Lee is explaining how to circumvent Baez so she could give the LE information on how to find Caylee. But he's not making it sound like it was coming from the LE - Lee wants to keep the lines of information open.

ICA sounds like she could care less.

Wow - ICA going on and on about how LE misinterpreted everything she said. Lee telling her not to go throw Jose because he will block it.

when I hear the ghost friends mentioned I cannot help but barf

Wow, LA looks rough. Amazing the toll ICA & her actions have taken on everyone associated with her.

To me, as far as the sheer horror of this case, the actual murder itself has been trumped by the behavior and complete lack of dedication to that baby by her family.

Think about it. For me, that's huge, heartbreaking and mind-boggling.

Not one member of that family deserves to be called "human".

BBM. You're not alone. I think it speaks volumes that everyone is shocked at the behavior of this family. They simply AREN'T normal.

You know, if Baez does this all trial, it might be a breeze for the SA since he keeps doing their work for them.
Not really at all. if he wins this motion, none of this tape will ever be seen by a jury. That's what's at stake and they just may find a jury who has not watched pre-trial coverage so this is not a good thing for the state.

Is there a letter?!? Or not!

  • #868
Were you lying...LA answers "MAYBE" WOW an admission of a lie...almost!

  • #869
She really really is not happy with Lee right now.

  • #870
Casey not impressed with big bro when asked: "Were you lying when you told your sister she could write you in confidence?"

LA: "Maybe."

  • #871
DOH - so Lee is lying? Another Anthony family trait (though at least he admits it). ICA seems suprised. So the letter system is a lie, perhaps fed to him by LE? Is LE feeding him this info?

Yikes.

Ooooh, what a look Casey gave when Lee admitted he might have been lying about keeping a letter to himself !

  • #873
Ummm but LE wasn't trying to circumvent JB so as to GET ICA, it was to FIND CAYLEE!!!!

  • #874
Well Lee may love KC but after his last answer I highly doubt that the feeling is mutual.

  • #875
Did Lee lie to ICA when he said he would not give any information from a letter ICA would write if she didn't want him to. Answer - maybe. ICA makes a gesture to Medina to say - See? He lied to me.

  • #876
OMG, rewatching these jailhouse tapes makes me realize just how glad I am that ICA is not speaking to anyone anymore! The way she talks & the way she tries to use big words just drives me crazy!!!!!!!!!

  • #877
Aha. JB asked LA if he was lying when he told KC on the tape that he would not share the contents of anything she sent to him.

LA responded "Maybe."

KC made a "well there you go" shrug and hand motion to CM.

  • #878
Were you lying?

Maybe.

Evasive, much?

  • #879
WOW! I think LA is trying to not lie on the stand, and KC is mad that he is not following the script.
