Is this normal for Florida trials? Haven't heard to defense attorneys being limited in their opening statements, other than comlete falsehoods.

Well, Baez and co. are setting a whole new standard here!

She is presenting the hypothesis that Yuri Melich will be on stand and Mason will imply that he or the OCSO as a collective body "leaked" info to the press.

CM has an issue with it and is trying to tell Judge Perry that he will instruct jury that opening is not evidence.

The State knows the defense will play dirty and call them all liars....CM not willing to sign away that strategy just yet claiming it is too broad.

I personally liked the back and forth between Cheney and Linda... it seemed in good fun and they don't seem to have any animosity and they seem to agree.

I liked Cheney Mason today. Glad he took over and didn't make us listen to JB talk about himself and what LE did to him the whole time.

I think it is all relative. We approve of Lee after watching how bad Cindy and George were. We like Cheney and Sims after being subjected to to a couple of days of Baez!

HHJP - if defense can prove leaks to media it is purely collateral matter - if that is true can't impeach so how is it relevant to either state or defense.

I know I just heard this. LDB referred to working on this case for almost 3 years. Mason, in speaking with the judge, gestures towards the State's table and says, "They've had 3 years, chuckle, I've had 3 months." Has he really only been here 3 months, because it seems like a lot longer than that to me?

As if...

right now she thinks she is a attorney trying to convict LE for wrong doing...I don't think she even knows a murder trial is going on.
