What? Baez had to eat crow and in open Court apologize on the record. Nothing simple about it, it must have been humiliating as hell.

I don't think jose can be humiliated, in my mind I'm picturing some high fives between him and mason right about now.

IMO, JB has nicely swallow (or it's shvallow?:) his pride for millions of people to see...Let's give him a credit for it. Regarding him wispering to KC ears after, IMO it was something to convince her to aknowledge her parents because shortly after, KC turns to GA and CA and smile and say something (maybe thank you?)...just my observation...

Again, is ICA going to be at the status hearing at 1:30? Anyone know?

Oh my!

Resolved? Yes it was. Find the clip (I'm sure every station will have it) and watch it, if not for Baez's apology, then for HHJP's very moving sentiments.

I caught most of it just as I came back, but I wasn't sure what all the Baez-drama was pertaining to.

Thanks to you and momdetective for taking the time to respond. :)

I can see why the judge just had Jose apologize. We're here now. Let's say were sorry and keep this going...(I am glad he had to say sorry. He should have to say it to a lot more people than that, imo).

but now that the judge has taken control like this(I feel better about him now), I don't think Jose will get away with anything anymore.

:cow:

The elderly couple we have seen the past two days sitting in the back. Could they be GA's parents? At the end of the hearing the camera panned on CA/GA leaving through the door and the gal who constantly sits with CA waited until the woman walked out after GA did then she followed and the elderly man last.

Are we finished for the day?? Lunch recess? Rulings? Huh??

Lunch recess...and I'm sure JB is thinking as he looks over the lunch menu, "What goes well with crow?" :great:

Wonder if I can get out of a speeding ticket because of my passion for driving? I'll have to try that.

Gibby, I don't think so. I believe HHJP's comments that it appeared they were "on track" indicated that with the last few day's hearings that whatever they would discuss at that hearing had been covered.

That was pretty amusing, but honestly, that is the most eloquent speech I've ever heard from JB. No stammering or mincing words.

I have to agree. This is the most, don't know the exact word I am looking for, human...decent..normal I have every seen him. He actually came across as sincere to me.

Now as to JA's acceptance... I think he is not quite satisfied that it was all JB had to do. Your take???

I'm sorry but I didn't see it that way. He still had the same smirk. the speech was not heartfelt. again, it sounded like a teenager who knows the apology rules and does it just to get off worse punishment like losing the car keys. He is proud at himself at this moment because he got to do what ever he wanted and apologize later. He got extra time to submit documents etc...they only consequence..."I'm been a bad boy, please forgive me, my heart was in the right place. blah, blah, blah" :banghead:

You could be right, but considering his high opinion of himself, I tend to think he felt humiliated having to apologise in open Court to Jeff Ashton.

What's coming up when court resumes, please?

He will be back to same old same old next court appearance.

Yes, but we will still have our headlines tonight and I can't wait to see them! Talk about making history!!! Go Kathi!!!

Baez probably thinks that he deserves a gold statue for that performance  Oh! The Susan Hayward of it all!

Okay, here's my list of what I can remember. Everyone feel free to correct any mistakes I make, and/or add what I'm missing.

Casey in custody motion: Not ruled on yet.

Agents of the State motion: Not ruled on yet.

Baez contempt of Court motion: Public apology to JA given and accepted.

Defense witness list: Kathi B, out
Kenneth D unsure
someone else,?, out

Motion (State) of counsel making unsubstantiated accusations to jury in opening statements or during trial: Not ruled on yet.

Frye hearing regarding chloroform and plant growth: Sims will send (response?) to State by Monday of next week, JA, if response received on Mon., will reciprocate with his response by Tuesday of next week.

There was another one right at the beginning of LBD standing up with her list and CM reading over her shoulder I believe they agreed to dismiss, and it is right on the tip of my brain but I can't grasp it.
