Since the mood of the day is to all get along, instead of commenting on the lack of maturity in her handwriting -- I will instead, say she addresses the court in a much more mature manner!

:innocent:

I was fascinated by her hair- she looked as if it hadn't been combed since she got out of bed....:innocent:

Okay, I just watched a youtube video on "CG" also known as "Gas Chromatography."

Is it safe to say that the air samples are now admissable at trial and they will argue the "interpretation" of the "findings" and how they're "applied" at trial? Or are they going to do this at the Frye hearing? Challenge the interpretation?

I am confused because they agree that they are not challenging the "validity" of these two machines (The LIBS scared the crap out of me when I looked it up on youtube. It was like listening to a stun gun) as to their "ability" and their "findings."

BUT then they say that they will challenge the "interpretation" of the "findings" and how they are "applied?"

So what does this mean? Interpretation... I guess you can say is an opinion? So the defense is going to challenge what these machines "found" (volatile fatty acids?) and how that "applies" to this case? Applied to what?

ETA: I hope I didn't butcher this post too much... I am just confused?
You are not confused at all! :rolling: That is it exactly. Dorothy Simms will submit on Monday, with JAshton responding on Tuesday, just exactly what they are challenging re the interpretation of the findings and how they are applied.

I'm supposing HHJP will decide if the Defense is submitting enough information, then refer it over to the Frye hearings at the end of this Month.

This was actually filed with the court ? I feel like I'm loosing my mind !

Once again - it was just a quick conciliatory thing to carry over to Monday when Dorothy Simms will file a more formal report, so Baez's Frye challenge wasn't thrown out for lack of complete information. Just done at the very end of the hearing to show HHJP they did have an argument and would be filing it.

Agree s-o-m-e-what, however although she forms her thoughts well in her presentation, she is all hyper, hyper, hands waving, pages flipping back and forth, glasses on glasses off, more flipping, more waving - sheesh - stand still - get a binder and some bifocals....

LOL, "argument" is probably more accurate, but I'm guessing you meant agreement?

:blowkiss:

It appears there will be a live stream hearing Monday March 7th 2PM to hear closing arguments of the two main motions we heard so much about...as for this Chloroform Evidence..WE may hear more about this then???..It is not junk science IMO....however investigations and use of high tech is NOT either.. ..So we will see how this gets dealt with :waitasec:

Link to hearing on Monday~~

See ya all then :seeya:

Capri - This has been a loopy  couple of days, but I think the Ashton/Sims stuff refers to the items for Frye. And then JB said he was hoping to get this out on Friday (which did seem to mean ALL the motions, but he was referring specifically to the Frye motions when he said it. I could be wrong, have been, will be again...

You're absolutely right, my mistake. :)

.. some Ritalin, perhaps? :innocent:

Okay... Let me see if I got this now...

This has nothing to do with the decomposition (or what is consistent with human decomposition) in Casey's trunk? This has to do with the Chloroform in Casey's trunk? Or both?

Because if they are not contesting the validity of theGC's "ability" and its "findings" to the Chloroform in Casey's trunk... does that same thing apply to the "volatile fatty acids" that were detected in Casey's trunk. And aren't "volatile fatty acids" consistent with human decomposition? Are we talking about the same machine used to test the air samples of Casey's trunk?

I know, I got THWARTED by the motion of the notion, or comotion of the notion or something ......... had to pop a dramamine non drowsy formula to be able to continue.

The messy Farah Facett doo was part of the problem too.

Musizman -- can you covertly record logicalgirl singing her Eee-I-Eee-I-Oh! song in post 99 for all of us!

:blowkiss:

No - I'm not using the right term but they do not agree with the States argument so I don't think this it's an agreement if the Defense wants to argue it in Frye? :okay:

This getting up at 5am every morning for three days in a row has done my mind completely in!

Prolly from pulling and yanking on it while Mr. Baez was speaking. :innocent:

Not sure IF anyone has posted this before..Its an audio tape of Cindy Anthony to LE regarding a picture of Caylee..and It seems to me that it is obvious Cindy was NOT working for the STATE..in fact in her own words she states that SHE has disgreements with them~~Dated July 23rd,2008/ not sure of actual date of phone call but I do recall this picture she was referring to came out early on in the investigations?? This wasnt posted until April 2009..so cant say??

LISTEN: Voice mail message left by Cindy Anthony
On July 23, one day after an investigator publicly disclosed the startling details surrounding Caylee Marie Anthony's disappearance -- and suggested she might have been dead -- the toddler's grandmother left a detective a lengthy voicemail to Orange County Sheriff's Sgt. John Allen.

This voice mail says it all on what relationship the Anthony's really had with LE..IMO THEY were doing everything they could to dispell Casey's culpablity..and for some reason she seems to feel LE wasnt interested in finding Caylee??..Yikes..not sure what world Cindy lives in..??????:maddening:

I really, really want to see the testimony of the officer who handcuffed KC again. Does anyone have a link to this? To me it was one of the most important ones we heard but the news sites haven't posted any video of the officers' testimony.

Wasn't that in the beginning of the first day of the hearings? But I can understand you wouldn't want to sit through it all again to find it.....:banghead:

Yes, I have heard this voice message. I was actually hoping that LDB would have played it for the judge, but there really was no need to since Cindy out right admitted that she wasn't an agent of the state. Whether she meant to or not?
