I'm a little suspicious about the statement from LE.

She read the statement 'verbatim' but failed to read the signature line. Who provided the statement?

I found this part of the alleged LE statement odd "WE have learned..."

LE doesn't 'learn' that people are POI's, they determine who the POI's are. The media learns from LE who the POI's are.

I know the hosts are sincere with their efforts to BTH, but as retired LE, Rachael should have honored LE's alleged request to not have SA or BD on the show. If that was a true request, it was requested for a reason. She surely knows how important it is to keep pertinent info from being exposed in a high profile case such as this.

One more thing...
I believe BD is guilty as sin, but I think it was underhanded to make it seem that she called the show on her own. BD exposed that Bea asked her to be on after SA canceled. They could have called her when they were ready for her to chime in. Instead, they had her call in like a regular caller.

I don't get it.

OK I take back what I said earlier. It appears from seeing the transcript this is their verbatum statement not a LE statement. Perhaps they after talking to LE wrote this out? Oh boy this is all so frustrating. Why doesn't LE just issue a statement?

It is strange because usually when someone says " I will read this verbatim" it means they are reading a statement prepared by someone else. But like you say, it looks more like some notes taken from a phone conversation or something like that. Which would explain the non-LE type wording. imo

From what I gleaned from PH's explanation, there was a conversation with someone in the DA's office and they apparently advised the women that BD and SA were using their show to spread their own propaganda. And Bea was told enough about the investigation to convince her that BD was lying to her, and it really hurt. Billie called the show, and the women debated what to do, and PH said that he asked them to please allow him too speAk with her on the show.

She could have meant that she was reading her notes, not a statement from LE, verbatim. Perhaps she wrote out what she wanted to say and then read that on the show.

One more tidbit, BJD had a computer where ever she called in. She got caught in that lie. Any time you call into any FM/AM station (talk radio) they always have people with an echo and that is because they have their volume up on their radio. INTERFERENCE!

BJD just lies effortlessly and without shame.

As far as I know, me, Shawn, and my brother. I’m not really sure why my brother took one. Shawn and I volunteered them. My brother didn’t, so again, I’m not sure why he was given one.

Shawn and I were both told we failed. My brother was told he failed twice. He was allowed to take another one the next day and he passed it, and also, one other guy that I don’t really know. I heard another guy took one, and I don’t know the results.

I think we are going on a roller coaster ride for a few weeks guys. Let's remember LE can and will use any avenue they can to put pressure on POI, to turn them against one another, to elicit that one piece of information they want, to break down the parties etc., etc., We have been on this ride since early on. I'm reserving judgment. What I know is Billie was off her mark tonight. She is not the confident person she was weeks ago. MOO

It would be suicide for these people to say something that they thought might not be real or true. Could there be an error? Yes. Would PH say he had talked to the DA if he hadn't? I don't know anyone who would go out on that limb, not if they ever want to hold any credibility again.

Something is going on behind the scenes IMO. We are feeling the undercurrents. Pete K. might not have been updated if things were moving fast tonight. Or, LE could in fact at this point say "we didn't say that". They can retract a statement even. BD and SA are no doubt under wire tap. Maybe it wasn't something said on the show but what happened once BD hung up that was useful to LE.

It isn't over until the FAT Lady sings. And unfortunately we need to cinch up that seat belt a little tighter and ride this out a little while longer before we hear that melody.

My feeling is LE might have told these ladies that they were being played, lied to and that it would be better for their reputation not to let them on the show anymore. But I have no way to know for sure. we won't for a while, and that's OK. Because something is happening, buttons are being pushed.

Hold on to that hat because the strong winds are blowing. One night we will sit here without all of this doubt, without all of these questions that are not answered. And we will hear a police statement straight from the source. I rather fear that there will be no joy in mudville, because I believe Hailey is not alive. But we will feel better knowing that justice will be served.

BBM: Gram, you have hit the nail on the head. I think that either the FBI or The Rangers decided to go to the BTH hosts and ask for help. I know in the past the FBI has done this with certain media. They haven't misled them, they have told them things and let them run with the story in order to bring in or break down the suspects.

Now with that said, I think that LE has had it up to their eyeballs with BD. I truly believe that someone in LE did tell BTH that she was told to stay away from SA, but she refused to do so. I also think that the BTH hosts were probably told about some of the images on the memory stick.

I really felt bad for Bea. Her breaking down was terrible to hear, especially the part when she practically begged BD to do the right thing.

BTW, the tattoo has sealed the deal for me. BD knows Hailey isn't coming back. She's known it since Day 1, IMO.

I am so disappointed to even see some posts this morning. DD is a minor and we never discuss minors.

As this show hit last night moderators were spinning to allow some of this which may not have been allowed otherwise because it wasn't MSM. We moved threads, we opened new threads and tried to move with the fluid information and the surprises as they hit. We asked for you to give this story time and for us to tread carefully with this information.

So Why oh Why would you even begin to travel into something that is so against TOS? And not even whispered about in this show?

Knock it off and talk about the information that came out in the show and do not take it further than that.

Please hold off on discussing scenarios where Billie is responsible for Hailey's disappearance/death until we confirm through main stream media that the police really have named her as a person of interest.

Last night's show was very compelling with Billie and her behavior but my life experience with questionable information has made me very cautious.

I am going to be out and about today. I'll try and make some calls. In the meantime if you all could check local papers and such and see if they have CONFIRMED (not repeated) the information from last night.

BBM. I recall two grandparents getting tattoos of their dead grandchild on their chests, but still saying she was alive...oh, and let's not forget's the mother's bella vita tattoo! I am incensed that BD got a tattoo of HD on her arm. That tells me right there she knows HD is dead and is not coming home. I'm just waiting for BD to go on cruise or buy a search boat at this point...
