you're right, that is a very odd choice of words. Maybe it has something to do with her being a nurse at one time? but I would think it's more likely a term picked up from their hobby. All I know is, you couldn't pay me any amount of money, to use that word, when talking about one of my kids. MOO.

I think its definitely due to her interests and hobbies and as a matter of fact earlier tonight I linked to a band that she says she's loves and would even like to meet..and all I can say Is that most likely the majority here would not make it thru watching the entire 4min video..Its evil..sick.. and totally unbelievable...

And guess what the entire video is about and has in it "corpses"..even having sex with them..As soon as I saw the video I immediately thought of Billie using the word corpse when speaking about Hailey..

I do believe their hobbies and interests do show their mindset and intent in the disappearance of Hailey. IMO

BBM: I agree ... I cannot recall any other mother of a missing child using the word "corpse" ... I don't even think KC used that word -- but I will have to check on that.

Prayers for Hailey and that she is found soon !

This bothers me. Hailey has not been presumed deceased ,yet the show is tagged with murder in the tagline. Now the host has named a horse as to never forget Hailey. I just feel like she is saying ,goodbye Hailey and welcoming in "in memory of Hailey"

I am getting angry at people who are doing things that come off as laying Hailey to rest. Like the scholarship.
LE has not even stated they think Hailey Dunn is deceased. She may be but she could be alive as well. I have not heard Sparky dean retract his statement of them looking for Hailey Dunn alive.

I also feel bad I dont like the horse and it isnt the horses fault. I think naming it just Hope would have been more fitting. Now I picture the whole field filled with horses named after kids who are missing still that she has wrote off in her own mind. Sorry I had to vent. You should have heard me running my chops to my husband about it the other night when I heard her tell on BTH.

I agree with you. I don't like the whole thing - web sites, memorials, MERCHANDISE for sale, scholarships, donation money up the wazoo, and now a horse! It's all a bit much for me in this case.

I guess that everyone has their different ways or views of how to look at everything/anything..For me the link says its clearly "IN HONOR OF HAILEY"{I bolded and underlined below}

These two women who do the show Bring Them Home Now. Bee and Rachael I have no doubt have nothing but the best and good-hearted intentions with their naming of this beautiful..blue-eyed mare..and these women have dedicated their lives to being a voice for these missing children such as Hailey..After reading Tricia's post to all of us yesterday saying that these women are extremely reputable..they do stay in contact and check-in with LE for these type cases..and I know for a fact that Tricia would not vouch for these two women unless she felt she was certain about them..

I think their sentinment in doing this for Hailey as well as many other missing/murdered children is a wonderful idea of honoring them and I have no doubt thats exactly what they meant "honoring" not an "in memory of"..and if by some miracle Hailey turns out to be an "Elizabeth Smart"{and God do I pray daily for us all to be granted that miracle with Hailey}..if a miracle was to happen and an alive Hailey was found I think she would be blown away and ecstatic at knowing this beautiful mare was named "Hailey" in her honor..God what a beautiful beautiful thought for Hailey to be found and one day brought to meet and even ride this beautiful mare named in her honor..

I personally don't think it matters if she got the eye color wrong. My eyes are blue, but depending upon what I have on they can be hazel, green or black. I think it is a wonderful jesture. And that horse is beautiful and very unique. I have never seen a horse with eyes that color. And I think one of the things that stands out the most in HD's pictures are her eyes. No matter what color they are. jmo

I don't care for the whole idea personally, but it came from a "good place" the woman had no malice and only the very best of intentions.

I don't care for this whole story & the weird people & things these impressionable children HD & DD were exposed to ,in their mother's household.I do pray for a happier ending..... Maybe Hailey is found & both children go to live with their bio-Dad? If you give birth to children you owe them at least safety, love , nourishment both spiritual & edible!
